Chapter 16| Blast from the past?

"Sebastian." I groaned, trying to take his phone off him, he was sick and supposed to be resting and he was discussing buisness.

He held up one finger, before comtinuing to argue with his secretary, Rolanda, the witch that had tricked me into walking in on Sebastian and.. that girl.

"I couldn't care less about that house, I need to speak with Laval before he leaves." He protested, frowning, "The deal he is offering could change lives and today is the only day he's available."

He sighed, "I'm cancelling the estate agent. The place we're currently living in is fine."

Estate agent? Did I hear that right?

I raised my head to glance at Sebastian who was writing some information down on the back of receipt.

"I could go." I suggested, "To see the estate agent, I mean."

"No." He replies, turning back to what he was doing. Rude. "It's a very bad idea Mrs Pattinson, she's not going to see him." He argued.

I leaned closer towards him and took the phone from his hands, "Hi Mrs Pattinson, I'll be meeting with the estate agent, so you don't have to cancel anything." I informed her and she sighed loudly, "But bear in mind that Sebastian is very sick, so don't overwork him."

I glanced at Sebastian, who rolled his eyes.

"I can meet with him at twelve, that's fine. Have a great day." I hung up the phone and handed it back to Sebastian, smirking.

"Seriously?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I nodded, "I'm serious. I need to make sure the house attends to all the kids and my needs, so it's only fair that I get to make the decision, and you're sick so you shouldn't be stressing about these things, infact you should be in be-."

Before I chance to finish my explanation, Sebastian cut me off, "Okay, okay. You can go."

I placed one hand on my hip and smirked.

He only sighed and ran his hand through his hair, wondering why had he chosen me.

I ran my hand, down to the midi skirt that I had decided to wear today, uncrumpling it. I done a quick twirl, admiring myself in the mirror.

I had straightened out my now shoulder length hair and decided on wearing the make-up that Noire had gifted me. I slipped on my louboutin heels and strolled out of my bedroom and into the living room.

Sebastian, who was crouching on the floor, helping Oliver tie his laces, jaw dropped as soon as he lay his eyes on me.

He quickly stood to his feet, brushing out his Armani suit.

"Rylee, you look absolutely breathtaking." He murmured, looking at me from the bottom of my heels to the top of my hair, analysing me.

"Pwetty Rywee." Oliver commented, pointing at my skirt.

"You look like you were hit by a bus." Olivia remarked, from the couch as she stuffed her face with the packet of crisps that I had tried to hide from her, "A nice bus." She added.

"Gee, thanks Olivia." I rolled my eyes.

"My mother is upstairs." He informed me, taking my hand in his, "And if we want to make it for twelve, we've got to leave now."

Olivia was staying at home because had dance later. Olive was staying at home because Mrs Reynolds wanted personal time with her, so only Oliver was coming with us.

Sebastian picked up Oliver, still not letting go of my hand.

I liked the way his hand felt, it send all this electricity shots up my body making me feel giddy. As we both got into the lift, and stood in silence, Sebastian raised my hand and brought it to his lips.

"Did I already tell you, you look absolutely stunning today?" He whispered, kissing my hand.

"Something like that." I muttered, the way he was looking at me was making my body feel undeniably hot.

The doors opened and we stepped out of the elevator in silence. My heart was racing and all he had done was touch me.

He held open the car door for me, letting my climb inside and strap Oliver up in his carseat.

I sat in the seat behind Sebastian and slumped down a little, so that he couldn't see me. I didn't want him to see me, the way he was looking at me was making me feel all hot and bothered.

He smirked through out the whole ride there, it was like he knew what he was doing to me.

This time, when I walked inside the building. I didn't have to go through reception and take a picture, Sebastian just led me straight to his office, ignoring and glaring at everyone who greeted or complimented him.

I, on the other hand, smiled at everyone who cooed at Oliver.

Oliver was just loving all the attention, he was smiling and waving at everyone there, like he was some sort of celebrity.

People were probably wondering how someone so cute could be related to someone so cruel. Did Sebastian not like the people that worked for him? Why was he being so mean?

"Mr Reynolds, I just wanted to-." A man, jumped in the way, blocking us from walking by. He seemed eager to talk to Sebastian.

Sebastian raised his head, and glared at the man in his way, "Guards." He called, "Please escort this man out." And with that he pushed him out of the way and continued speed walking.

I watched as a big guard led the man to the lift, I gave him an apologetic smile, he didn't do anything wrong..

"Sebastian, wasn't that a little harsh?" I asked him, trying to keep up with his long strides.

"It was." He replied, pushing open the door to his office, "But I don't care."

"You should care. You should put yourself in his shoes. He just wanted to tell you something, he seemed really excited about it." I frowned, disappointed at his behaviour.

"I hired you to look after my kids. Not me." He snapped, "The estate agent will see you now in room 6-07, Lex will escort you."

"Thanks. But no thanks, I don't need somebody showing me around when I can do it by myself." I picked up Oliver and pivoted, storming out of the room.

Why do I always have to fall for the @ssholes? Couldn't I just like a nice and simple man?

I stormed into the lift and pressed the number 6.

I mean who does he think he is? I try to look out for him and care for him and he turns around and says that?

I am so done with Sebastian Reynolds.

I pushed open the door to room 6-07, without any help and strolled inside.

"..Dennis?" I gasped and he raised his head smirking.

"Rylee?" He pondered, furrowing his eyebrows om confusion.

"OYIE!" Oliver exclaimed, clapping his hand excitedly clearly wanting to join in on the name game.

Dennis smirked ans stuck out hos hand, "Rylee, babe, it's so good to finally see you. After all these months." He threw his head back and laughed, "Did you actually think we wouldn't meet again? That you could just run away with my child?"

"Who told you?" I demanded to know and he smirked and tapped the side of his nose.

Did he think he was funny?

"Dennis, nobody is playing with you. Tell me, who told you?" I questioned again, dropping Oliver on the ground so he could run around the room.

"Such a precious baby, it would be such a shame if anything was to.. happen to him." He continued to laugh and I grabbed Oliver holding him tightly.

"You can't do anything. You're just trying to scare me."

He just laughed. A dark and sinister laugh, "Let's look at houses, shall we?"

Part of me wanted to push him out of the window but I decided against it. Remain calm Rylee, he's just looking for a reaction, he's not actually going to do anything.

"It's nice." I commented, looking at the mansion, "Very big."

"Almost too big, something could happen in one of these rooms and nobody would notice." He chuckled darkly, pushing open the front gate and gesturing for me to follow him inside.

I walked inside aswell, squeezing Oliver tightly. Dennis was right, the house was way too big, compared to the penthouse.

The entrance was huge, next to the door was a shelf perfect for shoes. On the left were the stairs, and furthee dow infront of me was the large door frame, that led you into the living room. A large mirror sat on my right, perfect for last minute make-up adjustments.

It was a large five bedroom house, giving everyone their own room including me.

"Where do you want to check out first?" He asked, monotonously, as he tried to hide his shock for the size of the house, and we'd only just walked in.

I didn't answer his question and just walked to straight into the large living room.

My jaw dropped as I looked around the already furnished living room, it looked like something from a movie.

The view of the garden was beautiful, there was so much space for Winston and the kids to run around and play.

I placed my hand on the window, admiring the garden.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Very." I replied turning around to face the voice that was talking to me, "Sebastian what are you doing here?"

"Same reason that you're here." He replied, raising up my skirt and placing his hand on my thigh, "I sent that estate guy away, he was pissing me off. I didn't like the way he was looking at you."

My heart fluttered.

"Only I can look at you like that."

"Sebastian.. where's Oliver?" I mumbled.

"Upstairs." He muttered, burying his face in my neck and trailing hot kisses down my collarbone.

"We should stop." I exhaled softly, gently pushing him away. He groaned loudly, before kissing me softly.

"Your outfit looks amazing, baby." He commented, fidgting with my skirt, "...But it would look much better on my bedroom floor."

I gasped, placing both hands on his chest and pushing him away, "Shut up!" I cried, uncrumping my dress, hoping that our possible new future neighbours, did not see that.

"Make me." He teasingly challenged, smirking.

I took a step towards him, and looked up at his clean shaven face, I couldn't decide whether I prefered him with the beard or not.

Either way, he still looked like a snack!

I stood on my tip toes and grabbed Sebastian by his collar, pulling him down, so that we were the same height.

Deep breaths Rylee, don't let him know that you don't know what the hell you're doing.

I had him at the perfect position, to slap the stupid out of him.

But I didn't.

Instead, I done the unthinkable, I crashed my lips against his.

In an instant he had his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I removed my fingers from his collar and tangled them in his soft hair.

Sebastian brought his hand down to my butt and gave it a gently squeeze, before completely lifting me off the ground, only breaking the kiss for a millisecond.

"Get a room!" A loud voice screeches.

The. Neighbours. Had. Seen!!!!!

What a terrible first impression.

I quickly detached myself from Sebastian, leaving his hair tousled, his lips slightly swollen and his top button undone.

...did I do that?

Sebastian began buttoning up his shirt and smirked at me, while I watched him awkwardly.

I can't believe I, Rylee Jordan just kissed the Sebastian Reynolds.

"I'mgoingtogolookforOliver." I rushed out, running away from him and leaving him standing there and laughing.

I ran up the stairs and into the biggest room upstairs where Oliver was stood staring at his reflection through the mirror.

"That me!" He told me, pointing at himself, "That Oyie!"

"Yes, that's you, Ollie and there's me, Rylee." I pointed at my reflection, "Come on, baby, let's finish looking at the house."

I took Oliver's hand in mine and we began looking around the house, at all the nice and big rooms. The main bathroom was my favourite, it was just so spacious and pretty.

I stood Oliver up on the counter as we both made silly faces in the mirror.

"Where dadda?" Oliver asked, shrugging.

"I don't know, shall we go and find him?" I suggested, taking him off the table and placing him on the floor.

"Yeah!" He exclaimed, clapping his hands.

"Then, let's go."

We soon found Sebastian downstairs admiring the T.V. room.

"I'm assuming you like the house?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Like it? Sebastian, I love it. It's so beautiful!" I gushed and he smiled warmly.

"Then consider it, bought."

"That guy.." Sebastian murmured as we drove to Olivia's dance class, "The estate agent, you know him from somewhere, yes?"

"Er... something like that." I nervously scratched the back of my neck, and avoided eye contact, not wanting to speak about Dennis.

"You're hiding something from me." He muttered, stopping at a red light before turning to face me.

"Sebastian, I don't have to tell you everything." I cried out, turning to face the window. He placed his hand on my thigh and began caressing my skin.

"No, you don't have to. But I'd prefer it if you did. Especially when a man is involved, I don't like the idea of sharing you." He explained seriously.

"Sebastian, I'm not an object, like pizza or something you can't share me." I explained, so he would stop calling me his.

"Good, because I have no intention of doing so." He pulled up in front of a small building and stepped out of the car, "I'll be right back."

I rolled my eyes at his possessiveness, He just didn't get that I was my own person?

I liked Sebastian, a lot and I couldn't deny that, but if he turns out to be one of this over-possessive men who don't let you have any male friends, I'm running away.

I do not want a repeat of Dennis.

I took a deep breath as I watched Sebastian walk back to the car holding Olivia's hand.

He opened the door for her, and she sat down on her booster seat and put on her seatbelt.

"How was dance?" I asked, as Sebastian started the car.

She rolled her eyes and sighed, like answering my question was the worst thing in the world, "It was okay, I guess."

"That's good." I replied and we soon fell into a comfortable silence with only the sound of the engine to keep us entertained.
