Who is your favourite child??

Things had changed around here in the last two weeks, ever since Sebastian told me to forget about him we haven't spoken much.

He sends me a quick text during the day to ask if all is well, and that's it. He's working longer hours so I rarely even see him.

As soon as he comes back he goes straight into the kids room and kissss them goodnight before heading off into his office and staying there the whole night.

Olivia and Oliver were constantly asking to go and see him, and each time I would have to make up some sort of excuse. I know it's selfish, but his words had slightly hurt me. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't miss him.

"Rywee, hewp!" Oliver yelled, banging his fists on the coffee table an knocking down his blocks.

"I'm coming." I replied, placing Olive in her jumperoo, before turning around to face Oliver.

He looked too much like Sebastian, I couldn't help but wonder if he was thinking about me.

I always thought back to that phone conversation, wishing that I knew what he was talking about.

My phone buzzed from my back pocket and I pulled it out, scanning the text.

Mr Reynolds😾

Someone is picking you guys up for dinner @ 5. Dress formal.

- Seb x

"Whats this about?" I pondered, re-reading the text for fifth time. A formal event, but what was going on?

"Hewpppp!" Oliver yelled, getting irrated by now long it was taking me to help him.

"I'm not going to help you if you're yelling at me like that." I frowned, Oliver glared at me and picked up one of his blocks and throwing it in my direction.

"Hey! Don't you throw at me." I frowned, picking him up and placing him in time out.

He started crying and rolling on the floor banging his fist against the carpet and kicking and screaming. I watched at his face became a deep crimson as ha continued screaming at the top of his lungs. I grabbed him, even though he was kicking and screaming and held him at an arms lenght away from me.

We were all an edge now, everyone was tense and uncomfortable, even little Olive.

I placed him in the small pink chair in the corner.

Silence filled the room, the only sound that could be heard was Oliver's soft sniffling.

"Are you sorry?" I gently asked him, wiping the tears that were streaming down his face.

"I fink so." He mumbled, lifting up his arms so that I could take him out.

I sighed, shaking my head. Instead, I turned the chair around so he could watch T.V from timeout.

"I want to wear my Cinderella dress!" Olivia screamed throwing her black and gold dress that I had spent five minutes ironing at me.

She'd be complaining and throwing tantrums ever since I picked her up from school.

Oliver, on the other hand, who was fully dressed had just spilled orange juice all over himself and I was officially stressed.

"No, Olivia, you can't wear your princess dress this is a formal event." I yelled, handing the black and purple dress back at her and taking the princess dress.

"You are not the boss of me." She yelled, grabbing the dress and storming off.

"Rywee. Wook." Oliver called pointing the the yellowish stain on the carpet he was holding his bottle of apple juice upside down and spilling it everywhere.

I took the apple juice off him and grabbed him by his armpits and carried him into my bathroom, where I placed him on the potty.

I began searching for an outfit for him. I decided on a white shirt and a pair of black jeans.

"Aw done." He called, running into my bedroom, stark naked.

I lay him down on the floor and put on his nappy, then I dressed him adding a bow tie and braces to make him look cuter.

"Stay still." I told him, placing him on my bed and giving him a toy car.

I pulled Olive out of her jumperoo and brought her back to the nursery. I rapidly, put on her diaper and slipped on her dress that was very similar to Olivia's.

I needed to get dressed, apply my make up and pack the baby bag.

I took a deep breath, placing Olive in her pram before grabbing my black bodycon dress, hopefully it wasn't too much.

I slipped on my grey cardigan and began packing the baby bag.

I packed diapers for Olive and Oliver, wipes, snacks for Oliver to keep him distracted on the ride there, three pacifiers- two for Olive one for Oliver, toys, bibs, a blanket and extra clothes for Olive and Oliver, then another pair of extra clothes for Olive.

I closed the bags and placed it on my shoulder, before taking Olive out of the pram and slipping her in the carrier.

4:56p.m. Four minutes until the driver was coming.

"Olivia." I called, opening my bedroom door and gesturing for Oliver to come. He grabbed his toy and climbed off the bed, slipping his hand in mine as I led him into the living room.

Olivia walked into the living room, sulking as she glared at me, even though the dress was beautiful. I smiled triumphantly as I slipped on my black trainers.

"Let's go!" I exclaimed, as I led them out of the penthouse, slamming the door behind me.

We casually strolled into the restaurant, as soon as I lay eyes on the all the beautiful women there wearing the most expensive dresses, I instantly felt underdressed.

"Hi," I smiled at the lady, "We're here to see-."

"Daddy!" Oliver yelled, darting off in the direction of Sebastian, who beamed as he saw Oliver run towards him.

The lady laughed, "Follow me." She led me and Olivia to the table where everyone in Sebastian's family was seated.

Seeing everyone in designer outfits, I immediately felt extremely underdressed.

"Uncle Jacob!" Olivia squealed, rushing over to Jacob, hugging him before climbing on his lap.

I stood there awkwardly, scratching my elbow, as nobobdy acknowledged my presence, except of Jacob who just smirked me.

Sebastian raised his head and glanced at me, colour rushed to his cheeks as his jaw dropped.

"Where do I.. uh. .. sit?" I asked quietly as I awkwardly shuffled my feet. Olive was kicking me, and it hurts.

"On my face." Sebastian muttered lowly, probably hoping that no one had heard him.

But I had heard him loud and clear and by the way his mother was looking at him, I think she had heard too.

"Here!" Joshua called, pushing away his wife and patting the seat next to him.

"Josh!" She exclaimed, standing up, and pushing him away, "Rylee, sit here, next to me!"

Jacob patted the empty seat next to him, "Sit here, babe."

Sebastian pulled out a chair, from next to him and smiled, "Rylee, please sit here." Next to the chair was a high chair, perfect for Olive so I sat down.

"Darn you Sebastian." Joshua frowned, as his wife, Quinn glared at him.

Conversation flowed naturally between everyone. One second we were talking about food,  and the next we were talking about babies.

"You look so beautiful." Sebastian murmured, placing his hand on my thigh, making me shiver slightly.

His hands were hot, igniting a fire on my body as he continued to caress my burning skin.

He was sending mixed signals.

I thought he'd remove his hand after his father seemed to notice on closeness, but instead his moved it closer to my sensitive area. He didn't say anything and neither did I, as no words were needed.

"Nice choice of shoes." Jacob sniggered, openly looking under the table. He probably hadn't seen Sebastian's hand on my thigh and that's why he was attempting to draw unessacery attention to my choice of footwear.

"Beautiful." He murmered, bringing his lips close to my ear as he stuck out his foot and began showing off his almost identical trainer.

I giggled and opened my mouth to make a comment about how we were 'goals,' but was cut of by the sound someone walking into the building.

Sebastian head perked up and he exhaled loudly, before rising to his feet and brushing out his suit and greet the guest.

A fabulous model sashayed into the room, and wrapped her arms around Sebastian's neck. My Sebastian's neck.

My heart was thumping, this can't be.... She can't be...

Sebastian rested his hands on her waist, pulling her into a warm embrace, "Audrianna..."

The model, Audrianna stood on her tip-toes and pressed her lips to Sebastian's. I tried to take my eyes of the couple like everyone else but I couldn't. My eyes were glued to them.

They were kissing. Right in front of me.

I held back a sob.

She was absolutely stunning, she had these long dark curls that reached her huge bum and her lips were large and luscious. She had these big green eyes and as soon as I lay eyes on her, I instantly recognised her.

The girl from Julian's families resturant, who had claimed ownership over Sebastian.

"I would like you all, to meet my fiancèe Audrianna Montreal." He introduced, looking at me directly in the eye.

Had he planned this?

Her arms were wrapped tightly around his waist and her face was buried in his chest, leaving smudges of makeup on his white dress shirt.

Deep down, I wished it was me he was introducing to his family as his fiancèe.

"Well Sebastian, Audrianna congratulations. I never thought I'd see the day." Savannah, Sebastian mother smiled gently nodding at the two.

I glanced at Mr Reynolds who was looking in my direction and smirking, silently gloating as he sipped his wine.

"Who dat?" Oliver whispered as he climbed on my lap and sat next to Olive, resting his head on my chest. His dark curls filled my face, tickling my nose.

And I didn't know how to explain it to him.

"That's your daddy's girlfriend." I finally explained, keeping my voice low.

"Gilfwiend? What dat?" He asked, pivoting around to face me. His eyebrows were furrowed in confusion as he suspiciously glanced over at his father.

"Your daddy is going to marry her because they love each other very much." I sighed, kissing his forehead as I finally let the news sink in.

"I don't want her" Oliver grumbled climbing off my lap.

My eyes darted over to Olivia who was biting her tongue and looking at Audrianna, she was openly glaring at each other.

For once I agreed with Olivia. We both hated her together.

Mr. Reynolds rose to his feet, silencing everyone before gently tapping his fork against his glass.

"Cheers to Sebastian finding love again!" He cheered, through gritted teeth, and we all drank to that.

The couple kissed again.

The wine tasted bitter on my tongue and burned my throat as I swallowed.

I knew I wasn't supposed to be drinking whilst breastfeeding, and by the way Sebastian was looking at me, I could tell he also dissproved but at this point I was too low to care.

"Can't handle some wine?" Jacob chuckled, chugging down the whole thing.

I slid my glass over to him and shook my head.

"That is not wine, Anyway, I'm not even supposed to be drinking." I protested, rolling my eyes.

"Your family is so kind and welcoming." Audrianna gushed, pulling at Olivia's cheeks.

I almost snorted at her comment, Sebastian's family and the word 'kind,' or 'welcoming' should definetly not be in the same sentence. They were the complete opposite.

"Ewwn don't you dare touch me dirty little-. " She was cut of by Sebastian clearing his throat and frowning at his daughter.

I used my hand to cover up my slight giggle, what kind of nanny was I encouraging bad behaviour?

I watched Sebastian head back over to his seat holding her hand and I jumped up rather too quickly.

"May I be excused?" I asked Mrs. Reynolds. She nodded her head slowly and smiled warmly, I couldn't return the smile.

And with that I darted to the bathroom leaving Olive with Jacob.

I stood staring at my reflection in the mirror, that's why he wanted me to forget about him. He was engaged to somebody so perfect, she had large dark curls with blonde highlights and these big green eyes and full pink lips.

I ran my hand through my ugly kinky curls, trying to straighten them out. I trailed my finger down my acne filled face, softly fingering every last spot that I could find, and lastly I studied my eyes. They were so dull and basic, it was almost depressing.

I turned to the side, resting my hand on my pudgy stomach, no longer feeling the confidence I felt that morning. I was beginning to regret even wearing the dress in the first place.

"I've noticed you've put on a bit of weight around the belly area,"

I took a deep breath and exhaled loudly, I knew it was wrong to compare, but all my life I had just been compared to everyone that it has almost become a second nature to me.

There was no point in fighting in a battle with her, I had already lost.

I splashed some water over my face, rubbing at my eyes before finally leaving the bathroom and heading outside for a breather.

I walked out to the patio, admiring the fine view from out here.

My eyes landed on a large figure, who was leaning on the railing with a cigarette at hand.

"Sebastian?" I gasped, raising an eyebrow as he let of a whiff of smoke, "You smoke?!"

He grumbled something underneath his breath and ran a hand through his hair, "Only when I'm stressed."

I frowned, "Isn't there other ways to relieve stress? Ways, that couldn't give you lung cancer?"

He rolled his eyes, "Why do you care?" He snapped, scornfully.

"I don't." I shrugged, "Just warning you." He let out another whiff of smoke and this time my lungs couldn't take it, I began coughing like a maniac.

I heard him mutter something under his breath before chucking the cigarette on the floor and stepping on it.

Silence soon fell upon us.

I gazed closely at Sebastian, watching his body tense as he thought hard about something. His eyebrows then furrowed in anger as he shot me the nastiest glare I had ever received.

If looks could kill then I would be out cold.

"S-Sebastian.." I stuttered, taking a step back, trying to ignore his cold eyes shooting lasers into my skin. I was nervous, he was making me nervous, "A-are you a-alright?"

He looked disgusted, "Why are you still here?!" He roared, almost blowing me away, "GO!"

I was stunned by his random outburst of anger, not wanting to leave him while he was in this state.

I lowered my voice, resting my hand on his tense muscle,"Are you alright?"

"Am I alright?" He repeated slower, "Am. I. Alright?" He looked furious, "What the fvck is wrong with you?! I told you to GO, and you're still here. Asking me if I'm upset, oh fvck off!" He spat, his words laced with anger.

I took a step back, moving away from him. That monster.

"I'm sorry for caring." I whispered dangerously, "I'll make sure to never do it again."
