Ever since I had came back to the Reynolds the days leading up to Christmas was one word. Chaos.

As we all sat by the fire on Christmas Eve watching How the Grinch stole Christmas I could tell tomorrow was going to be even worse.

Audri was quick to snag a seat next to Sebastian and put her head in on his broad chest while she closed her eyes and pretending to sleep.

While she got to pretend to sleep I had to pretend not to care.

"This one doesn't have as much movies as the cinema room," Olivia said yawning as she pulled Bear closer to her face and snuggled him.

I ran a hand through Winstons soft silky fur and pulled him closer to me. I bent down and kissed his ear before tickling it.

"Me!" Oliver yelled laying down so that I could stroke him aswell. I ran my hand through his back, fingering the fluffy Christmas onesie he was wearing; The onesie that all of us were wearing even Bear had gotten his own little version.

"I'm going to go and get more popcorn," I announced picking up me and Oliver's popcorn bowl and walking to the kitchen.

I grabbed the bag of toffee popcorn and began to pour it in the bowl, enjoying the silence of the house.

I quickly turned around feeling eyes on me and saw Sebastian standing there.

"Sorry," he apologised quietly as we walked over to the sink and began to fill his cup with water.

He was just about to leave when I called him back "What's the plan for tomorrow?"

"We open the presents in the morning and then my friend is hosting a Christmas party," he explained turning back round and leaving the kitchen.

Ever since Oliver confessed Sebastian has been avoiding me like the plague.

I can't seem to understand why.

I heard panting behind me and looked down to where Winston was stood. He walked over to me and began rubbing his head against my leg.

I bent down and rubbed his head.

I opened the cupboard where all his dog treats had been placed and pulled out a dog biscuit and placed it in his mouth which me munched on happily.

I grabbed the bowl and walked back into the living room, sitting down next to Oliver and Winston.

We continued to watch the movie the only sounds were the sound of popcorn being munched and the sounds from the movie.

I turned my head just to glance at Sebastian and Audrianna.

Her head was on shoulder and she was also glancing up at him every few seconds while he just carelessly typed away on his phone.

He raised his head and turned to face me, meeting my gaze. I quickly turned away and faced the movie.

Oliver had fallen asleep on my lap and Winston had fallen asleep directly under my feet. I reached for the throw blanket and put it over Oliver and I and the part of the blanket that reached the floor was used to cover Winston.

I rested my head on the pillow next to me and continued to watch the bright images dance around on the screen, until everything became blurry and soon enough I was sound asleep.

*

I rested my head on the hard pillow that lay... next to me?

I felt my body shaking and my eyes fluttered open and through the blurryness I could make out a face.

"What on..?" I mumbled opening my eyes fully and looking up at Sebastian.

"Shhhh go back to sleep," he murmerd climbing up the last step.

But I couldn't go back to sleep.

He pushed open the door to my bedroom using his knee and walked inside gently laying me down on the bed.

He grabbed the duvet and pulled it over me.

"Sebastian," I called as he was just about to leave the room "Merry Christmas."

He smiled "Merry Christmas Rylee." Then he left the room.

I rested my head on the pillow and let the sleep take over.

"Wake up Rylee!" Olivia yelled bouncing up and down on my bed "It's Christmas!"

"Cwistmas!" Oliver exclaimed nearly stepping on my head as he jumped around on my bed.

Olive was on the edge of my bed, stuffing part of my duvet in her mouth.

I sat up groggily and rubbed my eyes before reaching over to pull the duvet from her mouth.

"Get up! You lazy lump!!" Olivia yelled grabbing my hand and trying to pry me off the bed.

"It's seven in the morning!" I cried "Can't we wait 'till ten."

"No because we have to go to Uncle Joshuas house and spend the rest of the day there," she explained.

"Everyone?"

"No just me, Oliver, Daddy and Mu- oh yeah," she frowned and looked to the ground.

"Let's go and open the presents now! I really want to know what you got Olivia," I exclaimed jumping out of bed, attempting to change her mind.

It'll be their first Christmas without her.

"You guys go down and I'll be there in a minute," I gently guided all of them outside of my room and closed the door behind them.

I rushed to the bathroom and began to brush my teeth, wsshed my face, threw on a bra and brushed my hair.

Then I opened the door and sped downstairs.

Every one was sitting down around the Christmas tree waiting patiently for me.

"Hallelujah!" Olivia cried throwing her hands up in the air.

"Sorry." I apologised taking a seat next to Winston, who was trying to sleep.

The next few minutes of my life were filled with absolute chaos.

Wrappers being thrown around, presents held flung to a corner.

I moved Olive's hands to help her unwrap the present that was on her lap.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Oliver standing behind me. In his hand was a small box that had been carefully wrapped.

"From Oyie."

I smiled and held the small box and then began to open it.

Inside the box was a charm bracelet that already had four charms hanging from it; Lightning McQueen, the letter "R", a heart and the Eiffel tower.

"Wike me," he held up his wrist to show the matching bracelet but his one had an "O"

"Thank you Oliver," I beamed pulling him into a tight hug "I love it!"

I turned back to Olive who had opened her present and was already chewing on the small pink teddy bear.

"Olive," I sighed pulling it away from her making her face crumple. So I grabbed another present that had Olive written neatly on it and waved it in her face.

Two hours and fourty-five minutes later we had opened every single present under the tree.

I had gotten perfume and hand cream from Olivia and believe it or not Audri got me something.

She held the grow a boyfriend in front of me face and smiled.

"Thanks...?"

"I got you this so you can stop trying to steal mine," then she sashayed away and I just wanted to throw the stupid toy at the back of her head.

The only thing I had gotten from Sebastian was a small card that had later written neatly in the middle of it.

The house was a mess but it was a cute mess. All the babies were playing with their toys happily though I had to make sure Oliver didn't run over Olive in his new mini BMW.

Sebastian had definitely spoilt them this year.

Maybe it was because he was the only one who really could..

I took a bite of one of the million chocolates the kids had gotten for Christmas and sat on the couch watching them play.

Christmas music was playing in the background making the place feel merrier.

My phone buzzed from Olive's hand, she had completely disregarded all her presents and only paid attention to my stuff.

I took my phone, saving it from entering Olive's mouth and read the test message.

AliZak😜

Meet me at River's Cafe near ur ends. NOW!

I wrapped my arms around Zak pulling him into a tight hug, "I missed your ugly face."

"Rude." He chuckled, burying his face in my hair. He smelled like car oil, sweat and cheap colonge. I tried not to compare his scent to Sebastian's glorious one, but I couldn't help it.

I missed being in Sebastian warm and protective arms, they made me feel safe.

"Merry Christmas." I mumbled in his chest, squeezing him tighter, "It's so great to see you."

He laughed as we pulled away from our embrace.

He led us to a the barstools and we both sat down,  catching up on each other lives.

He'd told me that Hamza had gotten into a relationship and he was already thinking marriage and I'd told him a little bit about Sebastian.

"Are you and this Sebastian man in a relationship?" He asked, taking my hands in his large, hands, which were surprisingly quite soft.

Unlike Sebastians, whose hands were rough, hard and calloused.

"I-it's complicated." I stuttered, hoping my sweaty hands weren't obvious.

"So it's not wrong for me to like you." He clarifies, my heart race quickens as I stare at him in shock.

"Zak, I.." I don't feel the same way, I was lost for words as I stared at him in shock.

The man I was in love with was probably at home making babies with his fiancèe, so what was stopping me from pursuing Zak?

He was a great guy, maybe feelings would come along later.

"Look Rylee, I think you're perfect and I do have feelings for you," He took a deep breath before continuing,  "But I'm beginning to think that large man behind you feels the same way."

Before I could fully turn around, the man behind me smashed his fist into Zak's face.

It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who that man was.

"Sebastian!" I cried, covering my mouth with my hands.

"Jesus Christ, what a punch." Lex commented, taking a step away from Sebastian, who had punched Zak again.

People were gathering around watching the ordeal, filming the Sebastian Reynolds beat up Zak.

"Sebastian, stop." I cried, grabbing him by the back of his shirt, "Please stop." I softly pleaded.

I felt Sebastian's muscles relax against my touch. He then composed himself before storming out of the building and dragging me away with him.

Poor Zakir, he'll probably never want to speak to me after this.

*

*Sebastian*

Rage, that was all I felt right now.

Was Rylee actually considering his offer? He didn't deserve her, he didn't need her the way I needed her.

We sat in silence for the rest of the ride home, Rylee was facing the other way. She hadn't spoken to me since I had punched.. him.

I didn't feel any remorse, he deserves it and so much more.

I glanced over at Rylee, her arms were crossed and she was facing the other way. I watched her chest rise and fall as she took deep breaths.

Maybe I had overreacted a little, maybe I a little too possessive, but I couldn't help myself around her.

Seeing other men near her annoyed me beyond words.

I wished things would go back to the way they were, back when Audrianna wasn't involved in our lives.

When I had Rylee all to myself and Rylee had me.

Now she probably hated me.

I thought back to the short story that Olivia had written for Rylee.

Rylee Jordan was a guardian angel, not a very helpful guardian angel but still a guardian angel.

One day when Rylee was being stupid and clumsy she fell out of heaven and broke her wings. She landed in a big building called Reynolds and spilled coffee all over a very rich monster called Sedaddy.

Sedaddy was so angry he wanted to kill her but instead he brought her home to his house full of demon babies so she could cure them.

Rylee cured all the babies using her stupidness and her kind and caringness. While Rylee was curing the demon babies Sedaddy was also being cured and became more nicer. Rylee had used her love to cure all of the demon family.

Sedaddy and Rylee fell in love and they got married on Christmas.

"From the Reynolds," I threw the present at Joshua and he caught it and grinned.

"Thank you Uncle Bash. Can we play with Olivia and Oliver now?" Little Maya asked, rubbing her little hands together.

I crouched down and kissed both of my kids heads before letting them run off with their friends.

I glanced over to Rylee, who was clutching onto Olive. We hadn't spoken since this morning's ordeal. I missed hearing her sweet voice.

"How are you doing?" Quinn asked, pulling me into a small side hug.

"I'm fine." I replied curtly, gently pushing her hand away.

"Lies." Joshua commented, slapping my shoulder, "Tell us what's wrong."

"Nothing is wrong." I replied, looking at Rylee, as she mingled with a few guests. She looked so beautiful in that tight red dress.

Seeing her in red, drove me wild with desire. A hunger for her.

I hated the way other men were looking at her. She was mine.

"You're checking out Rylee, aren't you?" Joshua laughed, as I clenched my fist watching her talk to a boy. Why was she talking to him?

"Who is that man she's talking to?" I growled, watching her laugh at his joke. I didn't like the way his eyes scanned her body, looking at what was mine. I wasn't going to share Rylee, especially not with the likes of him.

"Dean Davis, he does some advertising, he's quite the charmer if I do say so myself." Joshua laughed, seeing how frustrated I was that their conversation just kept on going on and on and on.

"Just tell her you like her." Quinn sang in my ear, "Tell her you love her Sebastian, before she slips out of your fingers."

"I'm engaged." I reminded them.

"If Audri gets in the way of anything I'll tie her to a pole and crash into it," Quinn threatened menacingly as she ran out of the room leaving Josh and I really confused.

We headed back down to the party and the first thing I saw was Rylee's beautiful smile as she spoke to Quinn, when she saw me her face instantly fell, and her eyes darted to the ground. Thay hurt, because I wanted her to look at me so desperately.

She excused herself and disspeared, heading in the direction of the bathroom.

As usual the party was a lot of fun but every once in a while I would glance at Rylee and I would become all nervous again.

I think she had more fun than I did.

She spoke with guest played with all the kids and not surprised at all, all the kids loved her and when it was time for them to go they would pout and some would cry.

"Your girl is great with the kids," Joshua whispered as we both watched her play with all the kids at the party.

"She is, isn't she?

"The best." He replied "I can see why you're so in love with her,"

I just smiled. There's a million reason why I'm in love with Rylee that was just one.

I couldn't help but watch Rylee and 'Dean Davis' the whole night, whenever she finally walked away, he'd come back to her and start conversation.

It was driving me crazy, why couldn't he just take a hint and leave.

I narrowed my eyes, as he bent down, touching Rylee's waist. My Rylee's waist. Nobody was allowed to touch there except me.

I couldn't keep my anger bottled up inside me anymore, ignoring Josh's words of wisdom, I marched up to Dean and glared at him.

He was grinning at me, it's like he knew what he was doing. Who he was touching?

"No Audrianna?" He asked teasingly, as he smirked.

I glared at him, not wanting to fight him on Christmas and grabbed Rylee, pulling her away from him, not caring if they were in mid conversation.

"Sebastian?" She cried, as I dragged her away from him. I was fuming, I couldn't help it. Seeing another man so close to her was driving me crazy.

It was selfish. Very selfish but I couldn't help it.

I continued to pull her along with me until we were outside.

"I don't like you talking to him." I announced, as Rylee looked around her surrondings. She was avoiding eye contact with me.

"It's none of your concern, who I speak to, Sebastian, you're engaged remember?" She reminded me. Everything she said was true, but the thought made me furious.

Another man touching her soft skin, and kissing her sweet lips. Another man running his hand through her fluffy hair.

She is mine, damnit.

I felt my heart tighten at all those images that won't leave my head.

"I know its none of my concern, but I can't help it Rylee. I hate the idea of another man touching or you, or even looking at you." I frowned, taking off my suit jacket and wrapping it around her shoulders.

"You're not being fair, Sebastian." She argued, "I have to see you and Audrianna every single day, do you know how that feels? You may have no feelings for her but it hurts, knowing that shes-."

I cut her off by crashing my lips on hers. I just wanted to feel her lips against mine, they were always so soft, so mesmerising. I caressed her soft face, claiming her lips once again.

"Why are you doing this?" She whispered, as I pulled her into my chest, "Why can't you just forget about me and focus on your fiancèe? She's pretty, fit, rich and good for your buisness."

I sighed, taking a deep breath, the cold air filling my lungs, "Yes she's all that, but she's not you Rylee and you're all I want." I leaned closer to her, our eyes locking.

"I can't just forget about you, Rylee." I continued.

"You can and you will because you need Audri! She will help you, stop trying to pursue a relationship with me. I am just your nanny, nothing more." She argued, trying to pull away from my tight grasp.

"No."

"Why?!' She cried, throwing her arms up in frustration, "Why can't you just let me go!"

Because, I'm in love with you.

"I don't even want to think about what life would be like without you." I slightly cringed at the thought.

"Sebastian..."

I pulled out a the small red book that used to mean so much to me, and handed it to her, "Here."

"It's locked." She announced trying to open the book.

"The book is like my heart, it has all my darkest secrets and you can do whatever you like with it because," I pulled out the small key on a golden chain, "Only you have the key to it."

She accepted the key, staring at me for a long time before sticking it in the lock.

The book flew open, the began blowing all the pages in every direction possible.

"Thank you." She whispered, closing the book and locking it before bringing it to her chest.

My journal meant a lot to me, when I was a teenager and I wanted her to have it.

Hopefully it wouldn't scare her away.
