I held up four fingers on my right hand and five on my left, basically showing Olivia the answer to the very simple question that she'd been given for homework, something that she could have finsished ages ago-- If she actually put in effort.
"Olivia, I have four fingers on this hand and five on this one. How many fingers do I have altogether?" I asked crossing my leg and showing her all nine of my fingers.
"Ten." She replied carelessly.
"No Olivia," I sighed irrated, "I don't have ten fingers."
"Yes you do, see," she leaned forward and counted all my fingers which added up to ten.
"Olivia you know that's not what I meant," I said through gritted teeth and she shrugged.
"I don't know or care what you meant, I want to watch a movie." She whined laying on the carpet, using poor Winston as her pillow.
Sebastian came into the room and saw me struggling with Olivia, he sighed and rolled his eyes before walking over to get and gently tapping her head "You can't watch a movie, until you've finished your homework Olivia."
"But dad it's so boring and Rylee is a terrible teacher," she complained sitting up.
"Homework is boring--" I shot him a glare "--But you have to do it, and Olivia you know this stuff,"
"I don't want to become a bloody maths teacher. I'm going to become a dancer all I need to know is how to cambrè or arabasque," she beamed proudly.
"You are going to be a very amazing dancer but you still need maths. Everything and anything need maths and that's why you're going to listen to Rylee." He explained pressing a kiss to her temple.
She pouted "Why can't you teach me?"
"Because I promised Oliver that I would play with him," Olivia's face fell.
"Sorry princess, next time I promise," and with that he left, climbing up the stairs leaving Olivia just sitting there.
"Nine." She said "The answer is nine."

"Rylee." Olivia called as I fed Olive her breakfast, Olive spat out the porridge and turned her head the other way. She hated porridge but it was good for her.
"Rylee." Olivia called again, tugging on the back of my shirt, "Rylee!"
"Yes!" I snapped, pushing the spoon towards Olive's lips in hope she'll change her mind and decide to eat it.
"I want to go to the park." She stated and I sighed.
Couldn't she see I was busy?
"It's raining outside," I protested, really not wanting to leave the house. It was freezing outside.
"It's stopped now, the weather is good." She argued, leaving my side and climbing up the counter, before pulling open the blinds to reveal the blue skies "See."
"Olivia, you still have homework to do," I sighed
"I've done it all already Rylee. I have to do something at the park," she continued.
"Olivia it's too cold."
"I'll wear my jumper, it'll warm up later. Can we please just go?" She begged.
"Fine, go and get changed," I sighed dropping the spoon and pulling Olive out of her high chair and placing her on the floor, so she could crawl away.
"Dadadada," she said to herself as she crawled out of the kitchen and into the living room. I followed her into the living room and scooped her up putting her into her baby walker.
She giggled happily and began to happily take a few steps. I tilted my head to the side, while staring at Olive, happily walking around on her baby walker.
Olive didn't look her age, she didn't look like she was about to turn one. She looked a lot younger and smaller.
It felt like yesterday, she just started crawling. She was growing up way too fast for my liking.
"Rywee," Oliver yelled sliding down the stairs, wearing his best smile, "Hi Rywee,"
He stood up and ran towards me pulling my leg into a tight hug.
"Are you excited to go to the park?" I asked him, taking him from my leg and spinning him around, earning a giggle.
"Yuh, I'm gon go down a slide," he blabbered as I put him down on the floor and he began to play with one of the toys on Oliver's walker.
"Its a car," he informed me turning the steering wheel changing the direction of the little wheels on the car model.
"Oh it's it now?" I raised an eyebrow and he nodded his head eagerly.
"Yah," He pointed to the steering wheel "Steerin' wheel," then he pointed at the wheels "Weels," then he pointed to the front "Bonnet," he explained "Da engine is inside,"
"Oooh, does the engine live inside there?" He nodded his head and smiled.

I sat on the bench and watched Oliver and Olivia play. Oliver was sat on the motorbike spring rider and Olivia was sliding down the slide.
I turned to Olive who was pushing the small buggy around on the grass. She wasn't smiling and was very focused on making sure that baby didn't fall out of its pram.
My mind drifted of to Sebastian-- as it always did.
Last night, I had finished reading his diary and had began reading it again.
I could never get bored of reading about his very eventful life, especially after the the last diary entry, the words still lingered in my mind.
I can see why they made me write in this dumb book for five fvcking years. Maybe I really am a psychopath.
Everything had been going so well, up until that last page.
I slumped in my seat, pulling out the book and slowly fingering it.
This book is like my heart, I let out a deep sigh, if only things could be that simple.
After the other day, things had become awkward between us. I often caught him staring at me and he's never once bothered to look away.
I think Audrianna had noticed his constant gaze on me, because she's been desperately flirting with him and remiding him of their upcoming wedding.
But these days, Audrianna was hardly home, she always had some sort of photoshoot or an interview.
It was always just the kids and I.
I tried hard not to think about Sebastian, I was fighting my mind. I missed him and I honestly hope he feels the same way.
He hasn't said much, but I can see it in his eyes.
As for Jacob, we haven't heard anything new from him. If you were even to utter his name in the house, Sebastian would have a heart attack.
My only problem with that, was that Sebastian looked so hot when he was angry, I just couldn't take him seriously.
Security at home had been heightened, now guards stand at almost every corner you turn.
It was incredibly--
"Rywee! Rywee! Look at me!" Oliver yelled excitdly, as he began to rock himself even faster.
"Oliver-- be careful!" I yelled but he didn't listen. He fell back and landed on the floor with a loud thud.
"Oliver!" I cried, grabbing Olive and rushing over to Oliver who was now crying heavily.
"My bum-bum," he cried, tears streaming down his face.
Thank God he was okay. I let out a sigh of relief and helped him up to his feet, kissing his smooth forehead gently.
"We're going home now," I said breathlessly. I stood up and looked around the now empty park.
"Olivia, we're going home now!" I yelled, looking at every object in the park that was now empty.
"Olivia!" I yelled again, rushing over to the slide and checking underneath, checking every toy in this stupid park. "OLIVIA! If this this a joke then it's not funny,"
Silence.
Olive let out a quiet whimper as she watched me panic. But I couldn't attend to get needs. Olivia was gone and it was all my fault.
I'd taken my eyes off her for a second and she'd disappeared into thin air.
I grabbed both Olive and Oliver, not wanting them to disappear.
"Olivia, please come out now," I begged, hoping she'd pop out from behind a tree and scream "Ha, I scared you. You should've seen your face. Priceless."
But she didn't. There was just silence.
"Where Owivia?" Oliver asked sadly as he turned to look at me with those big brown eyes.
"I-I don't know," I mumbled, my eyesight becoming blurry. She could be anywhere, with anyone.
Five minutes passed of us just searching for her and waiting, waiting for some sort of miracle to happen.
Nothing. There was nothing. Olivia was gone.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Sebastian's number.
"You have reached Sebastian's Reynolds voicemail, please record your message after the beep,"
"Pick up the damn phone." I growled trying again and again until my phone rang.
"Rylee, what the füÄk? I'm in the middle of a mee-"
"I've lost Olivia," I blurted out. There was a silence.
"What?" He asked and I repeated
"I've lost Olivia, a-and I don't know where she is." There was another silence. My heart race quicken.
"Send me the address, I'll be right over."

Sebastian came over in less than five minutes and helped up search the park, asking almost every person we saw, if they'd seen a small girl, with blonde curly hair wearing an pink Adidas jumper and grey leggings.
Most of them had replied with a "no," but we'd had thanked them anyway. Olivia couldn't have just disappeared into thin air.
We approached an old Asian lady who was seated on a bench, feeding the birds and asked her same question we'd asked everyone esle.
"Have you seen a small Caucasian girl with blonde curly hair that was wearing a pink adidas jumper and--"
"Grey leggings?" She finished, throwing her last chunk of bread to the greedy pigeons "I saw her with you less than an hour ago but you were wearing all black," she pointed and Sebastian who shook his head.
"No it couldn't have been me, I was at work. Was she communicating with this man?" He questioned.
"No, but he was speaking to her, I did not hear what they were saying but I saw his lips move," she explained "Are you sure it wasn't you?"
"No, but thank you so much," Sebastian thanked the old lady multiple times before taking my hand in his and leading me away from her.
"Olivia hasn't run away-- she's been kidnapped!"
