Being in France was like a dream come true.

The sun was shining down on us, as we stepped out of the taxi and onto the concrete path that led us to the large mansion where his grandmother lived.

The ride here had been extremely peaceful, there had been no screaming babies, loud talking and definetly no smelly food. It was like a dream come true.

While the kids played at the back, Sebastian and I watched 'The Fault in our Stars' until he fell asleep. My heart still hurt.

Noire had messaged me thirteen times, begging me to forgive her and to talk to her. I was beyond ecstatic to get away from Every one back in England, but mainly her.

"What if she doesn't like me?" I whispered in Sebastian's ear, as he called for a young boy to take in our luggage.

"What's there not to love about you, you're beautiful, smart, funny and kind." He complimented, kissing my forehead multiple times.

"Don't lie, daddy. We all know Rylee isn't smart." Olivia commented, turning off her iPad and slipping it in her satchel.

Sebastian rolled his eyes and pressed his warm hand to my back, and continued, "I'm not in a relationship with her, I'm in a relationship with you. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled, snatching Oliver as he tried to run past me. He was so engergetic this morning, which was suprising since we had all been up since four.

After walking down the long path, we were finally stood in front of the door and I felt sick.

Though Sebastian said he didn't care, I could tell he did. On the ride here, he'd spoken so highly of his grandmother. I didn't want all his family to hate me, especially not her.

The door opened and a petite old lady stood there, her salt and pepper coloured hair was tied up into a tight bun, making her big brown eyes seen larger. I quietly placed Oliver on the ground as we stood in a silence.

"Bash! My sweet boy!" She cried, after a long silence, she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug, "How I've missed you."

She pulled away and bent down, hugging both Oliver and Olivia, remarking on how big they've gotten. Then her eyes landed on Olive and I.

She looked me from the bottom of my nike trainers to the top of my bun, then her face broke out into a wide grin.

"Oh, Bash! You didn't tell me you'd remarried." She exclaimed pulling me into a tight hug and squeezing me, "She's beautiful."

"She is, isn't she?" Sebastian agreed, running his forefinger down my spine, "But we're actuall-."

"What's your name, dear?" She interrupted, grabbing onto both my wrists.

"Rylee, and this is Olive." I introduced both of us, since she hadn't seen to acknowledge Olive's presence.

"Oh." She cooed,  standing on tip-toes and lifting Olive out, "What a precious baby. So small." She began kissing all over Olive's face making her squirm, she clearly didn't like the attention.

Sebastian's grandmother opened the door wider for us and gestured for us to all enter.

"Welcome to my home! Please call me Lynette, grandma makes me feel icky, as you English people say." She laughed.

"No one says that." Olivia replied rolling her eyes, I raised my fingers to my lips, signing for her to be quiet.

Her house was bigger than both our house and Savannah house combined.

"Please make yourself at home." She ordered, leading us towards the kitchen, where there was a buffet waiting for us.

There was so much food.

"Oh my God." I gasped, looking around at all the different plates of food, "This could feed a whole country!"

"Unfortunately I ran out of eggs, so I was no longer able to prepare my chocolate cake." She pouted, "But I guess this is enough, I will buy eggs later."

All the plates of food looked far too delicious to touch, I gently fingered the chocolate souffle before grinning widely.

"I like how excited you look when you see food." Sebastian chuckled, kissing the side of my mouth, "And I love the sounds you make when it tastes good."

I laughed, grabbing my spoon and sticking it in the souffle. Before I had the chance to put it in my mouth, I realised Sebastian had taken a bite.

"Seriously? Just get your own." I rolled my eyes, taking another spoonful.

"I prefer stealing your food." He seductively licked his lips. Sebastian placed his large hands on my waist and began gently tracing circles on my skin.

"Ahhh, you two are so perfect. I can't wait until you two have a small baby, but Rylee, where is your ring?" Lynette questioned, glancing at my bare fingers.

Olivia stuffed two macarons in her mouth and took another handful, before grabbing Oliver and running away.

"Well, we're not married." Sebastian blurted out casually, is she going to hate me for not telling her the truth at the start? Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Not even engaged?" She questioned and Sebastian shook his head.

"I actually don't really plan on getting married again."

All eyes landed on Sebastian, even Olive looked shocked, though she probably didn't know what was going on.

"Are you crazy?" Lynette sputtered and I nodded my head in agreement.

"No, I just no longer feel the need. Rylee and I already live together, marriage is just sharing a last name. It doesn't mean anything, just a waste of money and time." He shrugged, taking my spoon and taking another bite of my souffle.

"Marriage does mean something." I disagreed, it had always been my dream to get married in a chapel with my dream man, "It's spending the rest of your life with the person you love."

"You don't have to get married to spend the rest of your life with someone." He argued.

"Sebastian, you're very stupid. You can't court someone forever, there's no progress in that." Lynette placed both hands on her hips and rolled his eyes. Sebastian's grip on my waist tightened.

She continued, "But I believe there's something more, I think you're lying. You're afraid to get married because you fear for Rylee's life." She accused.

Sebastian look absolutely livid, "What then? Are you going to force me to marry Rylee aswell?" He questioned taking me by suprise, but he still hadn't answered Lynette.

What did he mean by force?

Sebastian sighed and took a step back, the warm feeling he left on my waist disappearing.

"Can we please not talk about this? I don't want to end up saying something I'll regret." He signed, backing out of the kitchen and leaving Lynette and I standing there in awe.

What just happened?

I stood awkwardly in the garden, goosebumps filling my arms trying to protect me from the cold.

After our disagreement a couple hours ago, Sebastian had dissapeared, not too long ago he'd requested I meet him in the garden.

"Sorry, it took me so long." He apologised, his dark hair blowing in the wind. His top button was undone and his sleeves had been rolled up, he looked slightly rugged, he handed me one of his black jackets, "I saw you, and you look cold, so I went back in to get this for you."

"Thank you." I beamed, slipping on his jacket. His spicy colonge wafted up my nose, as I zipped it up. Sebastian placed both hands on my hips and pulled me closer to him, crashing his warm lips against my mine.

His warm hands cupped my face, gently caressing my skin as he deepened the kiss. We both pulled away, completely breathless, my lips were still tingling.

Sebastian slipped his hand in mine as we began walking through the gardens, admiring the pretty flowers that had been planted by the gardener, who was watching our every move.

We walked in silence for a while, I desperately wanted to ask him about what he meant when he said 'Are you going to force me to marry Rylee aswell?' But I didn't want to to ruin our comfortable silence, he was so calm now.

"Rylee." He called and I turned to glance at him, "Why do you want to get married?"

"It's a bit silly but it's always been my dream to get married. I've always wanted to get married in a chapel, and walk down the aisle in my big white dress with my dad." I paused, "No matter how expensive it is, I feel like it's just worth it, because your wedding day is a day you'll never forget." I explained, bowing my head. So embarrassing.

His reply consisted of only two letters, "Oh."

What did he mean by 'oh'?!

"Sebastian," I began slowly, as we stopped in front of a small pond filled with little fishes.

"Hmm." He hummed in response, still not looking at me. Was he angry at me?

"Erm.. why exactly don't you want to get married?" I asked awkwardly, I knew it was early in the relationship but I still wanted to know.

He sighed, letting go of my hand, "I already told you, I don't see the need."

"But why?! Is it because of our social statuses, or do you think I'm going to run away with all your money? Sebastian, please talk to me." I pleaded, I noticed something flash through his eyes.

He looked angry, very angry.

"Talk to you? Talk to you? Rylee, I always talk to you. I tell you everything, you never tell me anything. I only found out about your relationship with Dennis because you blurted it out and I had to press you to tell me about what happened with Noire. So if anything, Rylee, you should talk to me!" He yelled furiously and I froze.

Realization hit me like a slap in the face.

Oh my God, he was so right.

"Rylee, I'm so-." He began but I cut him off.

"Don't be, you're right, I'm sorry." I apologised, taking a step back, "I ask too much of you and I don't give enough back."

"No, Rylee, you are. I am just really stressed and tired. I didn't mean it..." His voice trailed off, by this time we were standing at an arms length distance.

"I've got to use the toilet." I whispered, taking off before he had the chance to stop me.

I heard him shout my name and even if I wanted to run back to him, I couldn't.

Lynette's backgarden was like a maze, large flower bushes, ponds, flowers walls, trees and different types of flowers at every corner you turn. They were all so similar it was hard to tell whether you were going somewhere or just walking around in circles.

But by the looks of it, I was beginning to think I was just walking in circles.

Sebastian's voice was still ringing in my ear.

He was right, I was just a selfish hypocrite and I felt terrible about it.

I sat on a small garden swing near a flower wall and began to gently rock myself as I watched the sunset. France was supposed to be a nice little getaway.

I don't know how long I sat there for, just thinking about my relationship with Sebastian, Noire's betrayal, Dennis,

"There you are." I heard Sebastian sigh, "God, Rylee I've been looking for you for hours."

Hours? God.

I heard his loud footsteps approach me, but I kept my head down. I was so nervous, I didn't know what to say to him.

"I'm sorry." We both say in unison.

Sebastian sighed and sat on the garden swing next to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me onto his lap.

"I don't like fighting with you, Rylee." He mumbled, burying his face in my neck and inhaling my scent.

I didn't say anything, so he continued,  "We came here to get away from drama, not start some more." He used his feet to push the swing backwards.

I brought my face close to his neck and turned around, so I was straddling him.

"I'm sorry for not talking to you about.. things." I mumbled against his neck, "And for not considering your feelings."

He sighed and began rubbing my back, using his other thumb to trace my bare thigh, "And I'm sorry for yelling at you. If you want to get married..."

"You seriously don't want to?" I asked, sitting up and looking into his chocolate eyes, he pursed his lips and shook his head, "Then it doesn't matter."

I was a little disappointed, but I wasn't heartbroken or anything.

"You shouldn't have to give up your happiness for me, I can jus-." He began but I cut him off.

"Honestly, Sebastian, it doesn't really matter, I'm not going die or anything, I'm fine." I reassured him, wrapping my arms around his neck, "We can wait. I'm not giving up anything."

He took a deep breath and exhaled loudly, running a hand through my hair, "This is why I love you so much." He mumbled, kissing my temple.

"I love you too." Even though everything was sorted there was still something I was dying to ask him, "Sebastian... when you said 'are you going to force me to marry Rylee aswell,' what exactly did you mean?"

He exhaled, "I will tell you, if you answer my question." I nodded eargely and he smirked, "Why Dennis? Five years is a long time to spend with someone like him."

I rolled my eyes, I honestly had expected him to ask something like this.

"He wasn't always bad, he was once a great guy who would drive me around town to look at houses and we'd play a game where he'd convince me to buy them. I think the money got to his head, it was harder to let go because he was my first everything." I reminisced, thinking back to when Dennis wasn't a douche. It felt like a lifetime ago.

He nodded slowly, clutching tightly onto my thighs, "And I'll be your last every thing." He declared, taking a deep breath, "It was said out of anger but yes, it was arranged. Since the day she was born, we were always to get married. But it's not significant, and it means nothing to me. It has nothing to do with my feelings towards marriage."

Before I had the chance to reply, Lynette popped out of the bush. She beamed happily when she saw us cuddling on the swing.

"There you are!" She exclaimed, "Come along lovebirds, Elodie has made her famous hachis parmentier and it tastes heavenly and for desert, I've made my chocolate cake!" She rambled.

I felt something warm on my waist as we walked back into the house. How they remember the way, will always be a mystery to me.

We walked back to the mansion and three little people ran towards me yelling my name. Sebastian chuckled, and let go of my waist so all the kids could hug me. Olive was even taking a few steps.

"Rywee!" Oliver screams pushing Olive to the ground so he could reach me first.

"Oliver." I frowned, walking past him and helping the crying Olive up, "You don't push me people."

"No!" He wailed, stomping his foot while tugging on the hem of my dress,  "Howd me! Pick me!"

I sat down on the couch and put Olive on my lap.

"No! Go! Rywee is mine." He frowned, climbing on the couch, I turned to Sebastian who instantly look away, but I could see how small smile. We all knew where he got that from.. "Rywee play wiv me!"

"A-yee." Olive mimicked, burying herself in my chest.

"Come bud, it's way past your bedtime." Sebastian murmered, scooping up Oliver who was still pouting.

"Goodnight Ollie, I love you." I pressed my lips to his chubby cheeks.

"I wuv you." He replied wrapping his arms around Sebastian who smiled softly.

I gasped, "Did you do all this?"

Rose petals filled the ground, in a path leading me to the bed that was also covered in rose petals.

Candles were not around most of the room and the bed.

And sitting on the bed was a little gift bag.

"Yeah, Josh helped me." He mumbled scratching the back of his neck.

I climbed onto the bed and opened the gift bag,  pulling out my - his - present.

"Seriously?" I raised an eyebrow pulling out a black lingerie, I couldn't help but smile.

"It's nice, innit?" He grinned sheepishly, "I saw it on the mannequin and thought it would look a lot better on you."

"It is really nice." I murmered tracing the fabric, "Do you want me to model it for you?"

He bit his lip and began strolling towards me until he was standing in front of me.

"No, not now. Right now all I want is you."
