"Because I love him!"
We all raised our heads to look at the voice.
A tall silhouette stood at the entrance, taking large steps towards us.
"Sebastian, please lower the gun." The voice pleaded, taking another step towards us, "I'm begging you."
And with one last step, I was able to make out a face.
An Asian man, with his head completely shaved, and his eyes, a dark brown.
Jacob stared at the man in utter and complete shock, and tears began filling his eyes.
I watched as Jacob wrapped his arms tightly around the man, holding him tightly.
"Oh my God Ste! How are you even alive?" He sobbed, squeezing the life out of the man.
"Love, I was never dead." The man, Ste whispered gently as he rubbing Jacob's back.
"Great, now I've just jumped from third wheel, to fifth wheel in a matter of seconds." Lex grumbled, finally loosening his grip around my waist.
I was so focused on Jacob and Ste, that I didn't even notice Sebastian slip out the door.
He must be in so much pain right now, watching the man who killed his son.
"Sebastian," I called rushing after him, as he began speed-walking away, "Sebastian, please slow down, my legs aren't as long as yours."
He finally stopped, letting me catch up to him. I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist, hoping that it would prevent him from moving further away.
But instead he continued walking and began dragging me with him.
"Sebastian, you're going to ruin my shoes. Stop." I cried, still not letting go of him.
He finally stopped and took a deep breath, letting out a strangled frustrated groan. It sounded inhumane.
"Calm down." I soothed, gently rubbing his back, "Take a deep breath."
He pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around my waist, burying his head in my neck.
I continued rubbing his back, whispering calming things into his ear.
He reminded me of Oliver, after a tantrum. I would hold him until he'd calm down, gently rubbing his back and whispering calming things into his ear.
They were far too similar.
I wanted to stay like this forever, it was one of the most relaxing feelings in the world. Being with my fiancè, outside in the cold, just holding each other.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear, "I love you so much."
"I love you too." I mumbled, kissing his hair, "And after this, we can go and get pizza bread."
Sebastian chuckled, pulling me closer so that there was no space between us.
"Sorry to interrupt your lovey-dovey moment, but you guys can't stand out here forever." Lex called irratbly.
I expected some snarky comment from Sebastian but he didn't say anything, but I could tell exactly what he was thinking.
He was swearing at Lex, using possibly every swear word in the world.
Sebastian and I finally released each other, but he still didn't let me go. He didn't let go of my waist as we followed Lex inside.
I wasn't very suprised when I saw Jacob and Ste aggressively making out in a corner.
They hadn't heard from each other in years, Jacob didn't even know Ste was alive.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like seeing Sebastian after years of being apart, I didn't even want to think about it.
"Stop this madness." A voice growled, grabbing Jacob and pulling him away from Ste, "How many times must I tell you to stay away from that man!"
"Dad, stop it. I love him, when will you see that." Jacob cried, as his father dragged him away.
I looked up at Sebastian, who watched his uncle drag away his cousin. He wasn't moving just staring intensely at the two.
"Sebastian, we've got to do something, he's going to kill him!" I cried, watching as Jacobs dad began throwing punches at him, calling him all sorts of names.
Chants of 'Go Felix!' came from some of the men, as they began encourging the horrible fight.
"Eh, I don't know Rylee. The motherfvcker broke my leg, I'm still fvcking limping, I can't run, I can't jump, I can hardly climb up the stairs, I can't do anything now!" Lex pointed down at his leg, "And he almost killed you and the baby, he's just getting what he deserves."
"Okay, he made a mistake but we can't just watch him get killed!" I argued, raising my voice, trying to wiggle out of Sebastian's tight grasp.
He'd wrapped his arms even tighter around me, when Jacob began getting the beating of his life.
"Then close your eyes." Lex shrugged.
I yelped loudly, as I heard the loud cries of Jacob and the shouts of Ste as almost ten guards held him back.
This was madness.
"Sebastian, let me go!" I squealed, trying to move his hands, "Or do something!"
"Sebastian, don't do anything. This is justice!" Lex warned, glaring at me.
Sebastian looked from Lex, back down to me. Then back at Lex.
"I'm sorry about your leg." He apologised, finally letting go off me, "But he's still my cousin and if this keeps going on, then I'm not sure he'll make it."
He took a deep breath and pressed his lips to my forehead, "Stay here."
I watched as Sebastian strolled over to both men, pushing all the guards of the way. He stood there for a while, just watching the fight.
Then he said something, it wasn't very loud nor was it very clear but everyone silenced as soon as the words escaped his lips.
His uncle- Felix dropped Jacob to the floor with a loud 'THUD!' and gathered all his men together exiting the warehouse, without even once protesting.
Ste and I rushed over to Jacob who was laying on the ground, a pool of blood surronding his limp body.
"Hang in there, love." Ste whimpered, "The paramedics will be here soon."
I caught the gaze of Sebastian who was on the phone, rapidly speaking French.
I found myself, tugging forcefully at the sleeves of my shirt until they ripped off and wrapping it around his head.
Blood instantly coated the ripped sleeve. The sight of blood didn't normally make me feel sick, but seeing so much of it was making me incredibly nauseous.
Finally Jacob let out a groan, as his eyes fluttered open and he stared at me.
"W-Why... are... you being.. so nice.. to me?" He coughed out, his voice croaky and raspy.
That was a question that I didn't know the answer to.
"Don't waste all your energy." I sighed, straightening out his body, so hopefully he didn't feel any pain.
"T-thank you.. Rylee." He mumbled, his eyes slowly closing.
I felt Sebastian behind me, "The paramedics will be here soon." He took off his coat and propped it behind Jacob's head, elevating it.
We both glanced at each other, at this point I was doubting his survival and I could tell Sebastian was too.
"Stay with me, Jacob. I've lost you once before, I can't lose you again." Ste pleaded, kissing Jacob's pale and limp hand.
Before Jacob could reply, the door burst open and the paramedics burst in, and carried Jacob onto the stretcher, placing a breathing mask on his face.
The paramedic examined all of our appearances warily, "Don't worry, he's in safe hands now." She reassured us, before turning around and following the other paramedics.
Ste turned to look at Sebastian, with tears pooling in his eyes.
"Thank you for everything, you've done." He mumbled, shuffling his feet awkwardly.
"How are you alive?" Sebastian questioned, cutting straight to the point.
"I never died." He whispered, "Felix took me out of prison and brought me here. He told me Jacob had moved on, I was devastated." He wiped his fallen tears, "I can't lose him, I just can't." He began sobbing.
I stood up to my feet, pulling him into a hug. We'd all done some bad things in life, everyone makes mistakes, some bigger than others but it doesn't change the fact that they are still only human.
I only knew Ste from the things he'd done, and not for the person that he is, and right now he was a broken man.
"Hey?" Sebastian finally spoke up, "I'll tell Paul to drive you to the hospital, just be with Jacob for tonight."
Ste nodded slowly, thanking us all before Paul the driver led him out of the building.
Soon it was just Sebastian, Lex and I, standing there and listening to the sound of the siren get fainter and fainter.
I looked down at my shirt that was covered in blood, I looked crazy with one sleeve missing, blood all over my hands and clothes and dry tear stains on my face.
"Oh God, Rylee." Sebastian grabbed my wrists and pulled me close to him, "You are too good." He sighed, grabbing a tissue and cleaning my hands.
"I'm sorry Sebastian." I wailed, as he pulled me in for a hug, "I got blood on the ring."
"Rylee don't worry about it, we can get it cleaned or if you don't really don't like it we can get you a new one." He whispered, pulling me close to him, "And if you still want to, we can get some pizza bread?"

It was currently 12 a.m. still hadn't heard anything from Ste about Jacob's current condition, so all we could do at this moment was pray.
I rested my head on Sebastian's bare chest listening to his steady heartbeat, whilst he just lay there. He probably must've beem exhausted as he hadn't slept all day, my poor baby.
The car was silent, except for the radio which was playing relaxing French music.
The music came to a sudden halt as a voice began speaking with a very thick French accent.
"This day, one year ago. We lost someone dear to our community, Olivette 'Olive' Reynolds, died during childbirth at-."
Lex began speaking, "Do you want me to change it?" He asked.
I wasn't suprised when Sebastian shook his head. I knew it was wrong and disrespectful, but deep down I always felt second best to her.
I felt Sebastian's hand rest on my bum, and I raised my head, meeting his steady gaze.
He pulled me up to him, and pressed his lips to mine, kissing me softly.
"When will you see," He mumbled softly, as he began stroking my hair, "That I only love you."
In a few minutes we'd be home, and for the first time in hours he'd be seeing the kids.
They are probably asleep, with dry tear stains after waiting up for us. Lynette is probably worried sick, as she sits on her rocking chair staring at the door in despair.
We'd been advised by Sebastian's guard, Harrison, to leave Lynette's home tonight and head to a hotel, so we can be out of this country by six. They'd also advised me to hide my engagement ring for a while, Sebastian disagreed but it's probably for the best if we do.
On the car floor was three empty boxes of pizza bread, the best food in the world. Even Sebastian who hated fattening foods, loved it.
Lex stopped the car outside the mansion, glancingly back at Sebastian and I.
"Wake up, fvckers." He yelled, hitting Sebastian's leg repeatedly.
Sebastian groaned, "Already? It's been like five minutes."
"Thirty minutes actually, now hurry up. I'll be in the car waiting for you guys to pack up your stuff, okay?" Lex reclined his chair and pulled out his phone.
We both nodded, climbing out of the car.
Sebastian was shirtless, after he insisted I throw away my shirt that was completely covered in Jacob's blood, then he gave me his.
"They're probably all asleep, right?" Sebastian questioned, pressing his ear to door.
"They should be. It's two a.m." I reminded him, watching carefully as he opened the door.
"RYWEE! DADDY!" Three little voices choursed in unison as three small children ran towards us, warpping their arms tightly around our legs.
"A-yee!" Olive giggled, standing up and outstrectching her arms, asking to be held.
Oliver and Olivia were paying more attention to Sebastian as he'd been gone for way longer that I had.
"Hey baby," I cooed, kissing her forehead as she kicked her feet happily, "I missed you!"
"A-yee! A-yee!" She chanted, wrapping her arms around my neck and resting her head on my shoulder.
I just inhaled her sweet smell of baby oil. I'd missed her. She beamed at me, showing off her small baby teeth.
"Dada." She reached out for Sebastian who happily took her and began attacking her face with kisses.
"Rywee! I missed you! Where you go?" Oliver asked, hugging my leg and giving it one of his sloppy kisses.
"Rylee, what is that on your finger?" Lynette finally spoke up, after a long while of examining my appearance.
"Uh.. my nail?" I replied awkwardly.
Sebastian moved closer to me.
"No, Rylee." Lynette rolled her eyes, "If I'm seeing correctly, there's a large diamond ring on your finger. Care to explain?"
Lynette crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.
"I asked Rylee to marry me." Sebastian spoke up, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"You did what?!" Olivia exclaimed, at the same time as Lynette let out a squeal of excitement.
"I asked Rylee to marry me," Sebastian repeated, crouching down to Olivia's level, "And she said yes."
Olivia began nervously chewing on her lip and she began digesting the information.
"Does that make Rylee," She paused and took a deep breath, "Our new mum?"
Sebastian took a deep breath, pulling the five year old closer to him, "Not necessarily, no."
"You can still call me Rylee." I offered, gently.
She began rubbing her chin, thinking hard about it, "I guess I don't mind you marrying Rylee, she's not that bad."
Sebastian smiled, ready to stand up until Olivia spoke up again.
"But," She held out her pinky finger, "Rylee, you have to pinky promise that you aren't going to leave again."
I knelt down before wrapping my pinky around her, "I promise."

'Well, atleast it's not herpes... Or do you have that as well?' The television sounded, as I lay my head on the large body pillow.
"I'm beginning to think this movie is a little inappropriate for children under five." Sebastian chuckled, as he attacked Olive's face in kisses, sending her into fits of laughter.
"Well, it's way past their bedtime anyway." I glanced down at Olivia, who was curled up into a ball watching Pocahontas on her iPad.
"Hopefully, they'll sleep on the plane, it's never to late to join the mile high club." He laughed to himself, as he lifted up Olive and wiggled her before bringing her back down and kissing her nose.
"Be careful, Sebastian. Oliver is directly behind you, please don't headbutt him." I pleaded, smiling at the image of my little family.
Sebastian was laying down, holding up Olive, whilst Oliver had his face buried in Sebastian hair.
"I'm trying to be very still." He replied. He slowly sat up and stood Olive up on the bed, before pulling up Oliver.
Both babies ran and crawled to me, leaving Sebastian with a hand on his heart.
I sat them both down on my lap and kissed their foreheads.
Lynette had braided Oliver's hair and tied it back into a cornrow bun and I had never been more grateful.
"Well, we've got to get up in two hours. We might aswell, get some sleep." Sebastian crawled over to me and kissed my cheek, before taking off his shirt and laying down.
"I wan' sleep next to daddy!" Olive sqeauled, standing up and running towards Sebastian, who laughed.
"I guess that just leaves you and me." I smiled down at Olive and carried her using one arm while I crawled over to the last available spot in the bed.
I lay her down, and kissed both her cheeks.
"Mama." She giggled, as I attacked her body with kisses, "Mama! Mama! Mama!" She began clapping her hands and squealing with pure delight.
"Yes, I'm here." I mumbled, kissing her hair.
She curled up into a ball and snuggled into my chest, closing her eyes.
"I tired." Oliver announced, resting his head on Sebastian's arm.
"Then sleep. Goodnight Oliver." Sebastian kissed Oliver's forehead and pulled the duvet up most of his body.
"Na night Dada! Na night
Rywee-mum!" He giggled, and closed his eyes.
Less than fifteen minutes later, Oliver was sound asleep.
"Sebastian?" I whispered gently poking him, "Sebastian? Are you awake?"
"I'm awake." He mumbled, taking my hand and kissing it.
I giggled at the feeling of his lips against my hand, "Okay, well good night. I love you."
"Good night. I love you more." He outstrectched his arm and wrapped it around my arm.
I lay there listening to Sebastian soft snores and before I knew it, I fell asleep in the arms, of My CEO and his Trio.
