Chapter 13

The one with the confession

You're my captain. (Hailee Steinfeld)

Parker let out a sigh of relief as she relieved herself at her toilet. She never really went into a deep sleep with Hailee next to her, not because of Hailee, more so that she was scared the girl would brush up against her the wrong way and feel her dick straining against her shorts. She probably got a few hours of light sleep, thankfully. Luckily for her she hasn't got any training till Sunday so she'll have time to catch up on sleep before then.

She'd untangled her arms and legs from the shorter girl before walking on her tip toes to her drawers before grabbing some fresh boxers and t shirt. She had the quickest and coldest shower of her life before redressing and then hid in the bathroom for the next 30 minutes whilst she figures out the best way to approach today. Her initial idea was to tell Hailee she's too tired. Then she thought of suggesting they just stay in her apartment.

But after a while, she peaked through the door and watched the sleeping girl for a moment. She took in the peaceful look on her beautiful face, she thought about how well she has treated her and how good she is for her. And that made her decision. She was going to tell Hailee today. She has to take the risk.

And that terrified her. She pulled on her shorts from last night before walking back out into her bedroom, smiling when she was greeted by Hailee starting to sit up, hand covering her eyes from the brightness.

"Morning sunshine." Parker said softly, not wanting to make the girls hangover worse.

"Hi." Hailee replied with a small smile. "I'm so sorry-"

"I thought we weren't allowed to say that?" Parker interrupted her with a playful smirk.

"No, you can't say that. I have to say it because I barged into your apartment, stole your food, kissed you- though I'm not sorry about that, at all. Stole your clothes, invited myself into your bed...I'm sure I'm forgetting something but my brain feels like it's going to implode at any second." Hailee listed off with a frown.

Parker frowned slightly that the girl in her bed thought she had to apologise about any of the things she just listed. "Hey," Parker started before sitting on the bed next to Hailee. "Don't be sorry about any of that. Seriously." Parker said with a smile before she reached across her nightstand and grabbed the bottle of water from it. "Here. Plus...if anything....I enjoyed it." She spoke quietly, almost hoping that Hailee wouldn't hear.

If Hailee wasn't feeling like something out the walking dead right now, she would be telling herself that Parker enjoyed those things because she likes someone taking charge. But she wasn't feeling human. So she instead smiled gratefully and gulped down the water.

"God, I'm most definitely in need of a pool day now." She mumbled. She looked at Parker and leant up to give her a kiss on her cheek, not lingering too long because she knows she probably doesn't smell super fresh. "Can I use your shower?"

"Of course." Parker nodded. "There's clean towels on the rack, use anything you need. Do you wanna have some fresh clothes?"

"If you don't mind."

Parker smiled and stood up, pulling out another pair of shorts and a clean t shirt, which she has endless supplies of anyway, and handed them to Hailee who had now stood up and moved towards the bathroom. "Use anything you need."

"Thank you, bug. Oh, also do you wanna just go to my place together? We're both here anyways, right? Get dressed, okay?" Hailee said before reaching out and softly touching Parker's cheek, still enjoying how the girl always reacted with hitched breath and blushing skin.

Parker watched as Hailee disappeared into the bathroom. Deciding to move quickly she went to her wardrobe in the corner of her room and went to the bottom to find some swim shorts. She picked the loosest pair before pulling them on and securing the string around the waist. They're loose enough to wear a shorts, but she knows once wet it's a different ballgame. She pulls on a sports bra before pulling on a angel city t shirt with her name on over the top.

"I know I'm hungover but I'm not gonna forget who you are." Hailee said as she entered the room as Parker pulled her shirt down. Parker just smiled in return, too busy admiring Hailee in her clothes. "You ready to go?"

"Make yourself at home, okay? I'm just gonna go change!" Hailee yelled as she took off upstairs once the pair walked into her house.

Parker looked around for a second before movement caught her eye from the sofa. She frowned before taking cautious steps over.

"Ohhh hello, what's your name?" Parker cooed in a baby voice at the tiny dog standing on the sofa. "Oh you're so cute aren't you, who's a good doggy?" The dog jumped at Parker a she crouched down, it's tiny tongue reaching out to try to lick Parker's jaw. "C'mere-" she paused as she picked the dog up over her head before bringing it down to her chest. "Little girl, come here pretty girl. Let's see what we can find you." For a moment Parker worried that she was taking the phrase 'make yourself at home' a little bit to literal, but she's always a sucker for dogs.

She walked around slowly till she found the kitchen, grinning when she seen the container on the counter that said 'dog treats'. "Here you go baby girl." She whispered to the dog as she fed it a small treat, smiling at its little eating sounds. "Oh thank you, oh thank you." She repeated as the dog started licking her neck again. "Thank you for the kisses, oh yes."

"Easy Tini, I haven't even done that yet." Parker turned to face the direction Hailee's voice came from, jaw physically dropping as the girl approached her in a bikini. Our the side of her eye she noticed Tini trying to get to her mom so she put her down, eyes never leaving Hailee's figure. She watched as Hailee crouched down to greet the small dog as she used this opportunity to take the girl in.

She is absolutely insane.

Her tan skin made her look like she was practically glowing. "You-you look, uhm, you look...wow." Parker finished in a breathy voice.

"You like?"

"Yes. Yes I like." Parker replied without hesitation.

Hailee smirked as she moved around the kitchen to get Martini's food ready. "Do you wanna head out? I'll be there in just a sec."

Parker nodded, still not trusting her mouth before heading for the back door through the kitchen.

It didn't take long for Hailee to join Parker outside, two bottles of water in hand. "Why aren't you in the pool you weirdo, it's like a thousand degrees." Parker heard her speak but was too busy following the droplet of condensation run down Hailee's hand from the cold water bottles.

Hailee smirked before presenting her other hand which contained sun lotion. "Do my back?" She asked with a smirk. Parker nodded and took the bottle, following Hailee with her eyes as the girl lay down on her stomach on one of the Sun loungers by the pool. She squirted some on her hands before rubbing her hands on a Hailee's back, making sure to cover every inch. Her hands started to lower to the bottom of Hailee's back so Parker held her breath whilst she made sure to take extra care whilst also trying not to blatantly stare at Hailee's bubble ass cheeks.

"Done." Parker mumbled as she rubbed some sun cream over her own skin, she already blushes a lot around Hailee, she doesn't need sunburn on top of that.

Hailee took her turn and covered Parker's back, pressing her hands deep in the tissue there causing Parker to sigh in relief. Once they were both lathered up, Hailee walked towards the steps of the pools smiling at Parker as she walked deeper till they water was to her chest.

"Are you coming?"

"Trying not to." Parker muttered to herself. "Uhm, I think I'm just gonna dangle my feet for a bit." With that she lowered herself to the floor and stuck her feet in the pool, practically parallel to where Hailee was. She removed her shirt and leant back on her hands, allowing the sun to hit her skin but not catching the eyes Hailee was giving her as the girl eyed up her body.

Hailee pouted when Parker didn't come in the pool with her so made herself towards the edge where Parker was sitting. "It's nice in here, it'll cool you down." She gently prompted.

"I know...I just, I'm fine here."

"Can you swim?" Hailee asked, thinking maybe that was why a Parker didn't want to come in.

"Yeah. I just...I like dipping my feet."

"Come on, please? Please get in."

"I will later." Parker tried to play it off with a laugh. She was hoping by then she would of figured out a way to talk to Hailee.

"Come on, get in. You're being weird." Hailee said with a laugh as she grasped Parker's calf under water.

"I'm good."

"Please?"

"Honestly I'm cool here for now."

"Do I have to drag you in?" Hailee asked with a smile as she tightened her grip on Parker's calf.

"No I-"

"Just for a little bit."

"I'll come in la-"

"You'll feel better I prom-"

"Hailee!" Parker exclaimed, her volume increasing around the older girl for the first time since they've met. "I don't want to, okay?" She said, trying to take in deep breaths as she felt her chest tightening. She looked at the look of hurt in Hailee's eyes and felt like she couldn't get oxygen into her body anymore.

"Hey, hey, Parker, breathe, okay? It's fine, you don't have to come in. It's okay." She said as she moved closer to a Parker so she was now standing in between her legs. She reached her hands up and grasped the girls head, allowing the water on her hands to trickle into a Parker's face. "You're okay." Hailee whispered, cursing herself for trying to force the girl too much. Bye bye progress.

They stayed in that position for a few more minutes, Hailee's eyes never leaving Parker until she sees the girl get actual breaths into her lungs.

Hesitantly, Hailee wrapped her arms around Parker's waist and ducked her head down a bit so she can make her look her in the eye. "What's wrong?" She whispered, running the tips of her fingers up and down the bottom of Parker's back. Parker bit her lip but didn't make any audible response. "Mmm? You can talk to me, bug." Hailee whispered again.

Parker chewed the inside of her cheek as she tried to calm her anxiety down. She's never had to physically tell anybody before and it's terrifying her. "I-I need to tell you something." She eventually pushed out.

"Okay." Hailee nodded, trying to show Parker that she had her full attention.

"God-I, I don't even know how to actually say it, I never have before. Fuck." Parker said as she scratched her arm out of nervous habit. "When I was born...I wasn't born like other girls were, like you were. I was born-I was born with a...a penis. I was raised as a boy till I was young, my mom when she realised-she Uhh- she didn't want me. So she gave my dad full custody. And, uhm, nobody knows apart from like, less than 5 people- and now-well, and now you. I've never actually had to tell anyone 'cos usually when girls see it or feel it or whatever-they run. They say I'm a freak and don't want anything to do with me. I'm sorry I kept it from you-I-I just selfishly didn't want you to think the same...I didn't wanna get in the pool because I can't wear compression shorts under swim shorts. " Parker took a deep breath when she finished, scared toclooo Hailee in the eye.

Parker swears it feels like hours have passed where neither of them have said anything or moved, but in reality it was seconds before Hailee figured out how to respond.

It all made sense to her now, she never clicked at the time, but when she was on Parker's lap on the beech and she thought it was her phone. How she never lets her stand truly close to her. How she always changes the subject or moves when things get a bit flirty. It makes sense.

Hailee looked a the girl in front of her before unwinding her hands from her back and putting one on her knee and bringing her other one up to the side of Parker's neck, using her thumb to tilt Her head in her direction.

"I don't care." Was all she said at first, straight away getting Parker's attention. "I care more about how those people treated you more than I care about what's in your shorts." Hailee paused to give Parker time to take in what she was saying. "I'm insanely attracted to you, I think you're one of the sexiest people I've ever met, and it's not just for your beautiful face or your ridiculously good body- though your thighs are a soft spot for me, I can't lie about that. But it's what inside you that's sexiest to me. How you're so chivalrous is sexy, how I always feel safe around you is sexy, how you're so shy but constantly try to go outside of your comfort zone is sexy, how polite you are is sexy, how loving you are is sexy, how you make me feel is sexy. So, no, I don't care. You're still my Parker."

Parker could feel tears threatening to pool out of her eyes so she brought her hands up to wipe them before her hands were pulled out the way and replaced by Hailee's, who delicately wiped under her eyes before looking at the girl with a smile. "Now, will you get in this damn pool with me?"

She knows!
