Chapter Twenty Five

My eyes feel heavy and when I try to open them all I see is darkness. I try to sit up and smack my head on something "ouch" I reach up to my head and then reach above me

I can feel wooden slats. I try to get my eyes to open again and they finally do, I look up at what I hit my head on and notice it's a bunk

It looked unfamiliar, when I look around I notice I'm in a cell, a toilet sits in the corner and there's bars on one side

"About time you woke up" I hear from behind the bars. My eyes were still blurry but I recognised the voice

"Shane..." I say with anger in my voice

I notice he moves closer to the bars "yeah, didn't think you'd see me again huh?" He chuckles "seems we've switched sides"

I didn't care what he was saying I just knew I had to work out where Electra was "where is Electra?" I say as calmly as possible

He chuckles again "oh, they're taking real good care of her" I can hear the double meaning of his words

I stood up and looked around the room, I could feel the anger building and I knew if I wait a bit longer the drug they had me on would ware off enough that I could grab him

"You're lying" I say as nonchalant as possible

He hums "they seemed to be having a good time when..."

He was too distracted with telling his story that I had wandered close enough to the bars that when those words left his mouth I lunged forward and grabbed him by the neck

"Tell me where she fucking is or I'll kill you!" I say as I squeeze his neck harder and hear him gasping for air

I feel something get jabbed into my arm and the pinch of it has me letting go. I growl as I begin to feel lightheaded, this time though it doesn't cause me to pass out

"Why are you messing with him?" I hear the person who jabbed me say

"Because he's the reason I'm here and can't be with my girlfriend who's pregnant with my child" Shane says angrily as I notice his arm point to me

The other person sighs "we've been told that when he wakes up to explain the situation and calmly take him to his mate" I hear him tut "do you want to be kicked out of another pack?" I hear the other guy ask

"No!" Shane says

"Then follow the rules" the guy says disapprovingly.

Throughout the whole ordeal I found myself sitting on the floor as I felt a little dizzy

"Kyan" says the other man "my name is Marcus" he says calmly "I'm sorry I had to jab you with a mild sedative to get you to let go"

I look up at the blonde haired man and realised he'd be a better person than Shane to ask what's going on "where am I?" I ask

"I think it's best for our alpha to answer that" he starts to unlock the cage

"Do you think that's a good idea?" I hear Shane ask Marcus and I growl

"You've done enough damage" I hear Marcus grunt "besides the only way to calm him down is to get him back to his mate" I feel myself being lifted up on both sides by my arms, Marcus on my right and Shane on my left "besides, the sedative should keep him calm enough"

Marcus was right, I had no energy in me to begin to fight and they slowly dragged me out of the room

They took me through a door that needed a key pass to get through and turned right down a hallway. Many rooms lined the hallway, the doors all looked the same as the one I came through

"Don't worry" Marcus speaks up and I look at him dazily "you'll be back with your mate in no time"

We passed countless doors and turned right down another hallway. I felt the feeling begin to come back in my arms. I had no trust in these men and I had to get away

I shoved Shane into the wall next to us and as I go to do the same to Marcus he grabs my arm and twists it painfully as he pushes me to my knees. I growl out in pain

What he didn't know was that I knew how to get out of this, I twisted my arm to the right and broke the hold and pushed him against the wall

I still didn't have all the feeling in my legs and couldn't stand but when Marcus came running at me again I grabbed his foot and pulled it forward. Causing him to fall backwards

"Kyan! Stop" I heard her voice and it was like I was being spoken to by an angel

I look down the hall where her voice had came from and notice she's standing there with a confused expression. What I didn't like though is that someone was standing next to her. I growled lowly

She looked at the man next to her and he nodded his head before Electra came walking toward me

I tried to stand but only managed to stumble a few feet, Electra approached me and knelt down "Kyan" she says breathlessly

I grab her and pull her into a hug, my whole body humming at our close proximity. I push her back a little and grab her face in my hands "they didn't hurt you did they?" She shakes her head no and I kiss her on the lips

I was so grateful that she wasn't hurt "Kyan, I need to tell you something" her eyes were filled with mystery "this is my brothers pack" she says with a smile on her face

I feel confused "but Cade.." she stops me

"No, my real brother who's the alpha of this pack" she says as she looks behind her, the man who was standing next to her before cautiously makes his way over

She looks into my eyes "Kyan, this is my brother Jacob, Jacob this is my mate, Kyan" she says as if she's known him forever

I look up at the man behind us confused, he did have similarities to Electra and even an element of his smell was similar but what made Electra think this guy was her brother?

Electra stands up and moves away from me while Jacob steps forward and reaches out his hand "let me help you up" he says with a smile on his face

I take his hand and he pulls me to my feet. Still a little uneasy on my feet Electra grabs onto my side to help hold me up

I see Jacob look behind me "you two can return to your posts" he says to someone behind me. Most likely Marcus and Shane who I had forgotten was even there

I look down at Electra just happy she's by my side but I still needed answers "I'm not really sure what's going on" I say confused

Jacob chuckles "I couldn't imagine you would, we have a lot to talk about, why don't you two come to my office and we will catch you up on everything that's happened" he says as he motions for us to follow him

Electra snuggles into my side as we walk "are you okay?" I ask her as she lets out a sigh

She looks up to me and smiles "yeah, I actually feel like something is going right for a change and I missed you" she says as her arms wrap tighter around me

I hold onto her tight "I love you Electra and I'm glad you're okay" I say as I kiss the top of her head

"I love you too" she says as she kisses my cheek "I just want to ask you one thing" she says as she backs away from Jacob a little

He seems to get the hint and moves forward more

"Anything" I say, she seems to be upset about something

"Just hear out Jacob and what he wants to say" she pauses "you might not believe him but I believe him and I think what he's saying is the truth" she says

I nod my head "I'll hear him out for you" I kiss her head again as we follow Jacob down the halls. This guys her brother?
