Bria POV:

I left Trish's house early the following morning with Mickayla and of course Trish didn't bother to utter even a word to us but, her mother told me that as soon as the police have conducted their investigations , she will reach out to me to let me know whether or not the eyes I receive belonged to Chris .

I had barely gotten any sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about the possibility that those eyes actually belonged to Chris . The other thing that kept repeating in my mind was what the note said .

Nobody has permission to look at you the way I do , who the hell was this person? Obviously a man but, who? And why me ? What part of his sick twisted mind told him that possibly murdering one of my closest friend's cousin and sending me his eyes as a gift was a good idea ?

Now I couldn’t help but, also thought over all the strange things that has taken place over the past months . First the drawing around my ankle with my lipstick which suspiciously went missing  , then my custom made bracelet and fairly recently my underwear and one of my t-shirts .

Oh my god ! Smaddy a stalk mi? Smaddy actually come inna mi house and tek mi personal things ? Suh mi panty actually deh inna some sick person house? No, mi nuh wah believe that yet but, eh note weh mi get already confirm that.

Somebody a watch mi and dem willing fi do whatever possible fi mek sure seh nuhbody nuh get inna dem way , mi actually feel sick a think bout it . Mi a just 17 ! How old dah person yah be ? More ova , how dark and twisted dem be ?

School was dismissed early that day because we only had graduation practice and I dreaded going home because I knew I would have to discuss what happend with my parents but, it was just half passed 12 when I got home so I didn't expect them to be home except my dad was , because his car was in the garage .

A little confused because it was way out of the ordinary for him to be home so early, I opened the front door and entered.  Seeing no sign of him neither in the kitchen,  living or dinning room , I decided to check outside around the back where the back porch was and I saw him talking on his phone.

"A eh last time mi aguh tell yuh this , mek sure seh wi nuh lose nuh more. Cah mek eh boss a lose nuh more money. Get betta dru..." he stopped talking when he saw me came through the back door and instead ended the call abruptly,  telling the person he would call them back later because his daughter was home.

" weh yah do home so early Bria ? " , he asked , after checking the time on his phone.

" mi just guh fi graduation practice. How you deh home suh early daddy? Yuh nuh normally reach home until afta 7 or 8 inna eh night ".

" a just sumuh mi did need fi come fah suh mi actually a guh back a work now , yuh need nuhun ?", he asked as he walked passed me heading back down the hallway to the front door .

" no daddy" .

" alright, lata then and keep eh door lock " , he said as he left closing the door behind him and in the silence that followed , I couldn't help but, thought how strange his conversation was that he had been having before I interrupted. Who was this boss he didn't want to lose ant more money and who was he telling to get more of whatever he was going to say ?

I had just changed out of my clothes when my phone rang and I answered it seeing it was Mickayla.

" yuh reach home yet?" , she asked .

" yeh but, a me alone deh home . Mi did si mi fada though but, him gone back a work now ", I replied.

" suh yuh tell him wah happen?"

" no, mi just aguh tell mummy lata when she come and then she cah tell him , if she nuh already hear from Trish mada a ready" , I said .

" ok. Yuh know weh mi a wonda bout? Eh note weh eh person sen . Because base pon weh it seh , eh seem like eh smaddy a watch yuh and him doh wah nuhbody else fi get close to yuh ", she said.

" exactly and remember how mi did a tell yuh some months back seh mi did wake up wid wah drawing round mi ankle and mi think a mi sista a did dweet? Well, mi also lose wah custom mek bracelet weh mi mada did get mi  , eh only cream colour panty weh mi have and recently one a mi t-shirt dem gone missing to", I said.

" wah? Suh yuh tell yuh parents?" , she asked .

" no, weh mi aguh tell dem seh ? Mi cah find some a mi things dem and mi wake up wid wah drawing round mi foot?"

" yes ! Weh yuh mean ? especially wid all a wah happen last night and eh note . That actually prove seh smaddy a watch yuh Bria and dem obsessed,  sick inna dem head . If eh police actually confirm seh eh eye dem actually belong to Chris , yuh know weh that mean? That just guh fi show seh dah person yah a wah actual mad smaddy and if him willing fi guh that far because smaddy like yuh imagine weh him willing fi do to other people or maybe even you?" , she protested.

" mi understand weh yah Mickayla and mi aguh tell mi mada everything but, wi have camera outside a the house suh when she come mi aguh mek she check it and mi start walk wid pepper spray or sumuh but, weh mi really wah know a if eh eyes dem belong to Chris ", I said .

" ok, call mi if anything".

" ok , I will ".

I then went to shower when I noticed that my bedroom window was once again opened, and I am very certain I closed it before I left for Trish's house but, maybe mom had opened it ? I made a mental note to ask her as soon as she comes home .

The moment my mom came home , she immediately came to my room , concern  and curiosity on her face.

" Bria , a wah happen ova Trish house ? Why har mada aguh call mi, tell mi seh police did affi come ova deh last night because smaddy send yuh human eye inna box fi birthday gift? And bout some note weh a talk bout how nuhbody else nuh allow fi look pin yuh?"

"Mi nuh know mummy. Whosoever do that sick inna dem head and mi swear mi cah even think a one person weh mi know who coulda do that  and plus , mi notice some weird things weh  a happen fi awhile now", I stated .

" weh yah talk bout?" , she asked frowning. So I told her all about my missing items and then other weird occurances like my window being opened when I am positively certain I always left it closed whenever I am not in my room .

" even todeh , it open and mi know mi lock it before mi lef fi guh a Trish yesterday ".

" mi aguh check eh security camera dem and si if nuhbody come inna the yard and mi aguh call back eh security man fi put one inna eh hallway because mi nuh like how this look at all , this really serious  and Bria , mek sure yuh phone fully charge every time yuh deh pon eh road and call mi or yuh fada if yuh aguh , guh sumweh . Mi aguh buy yuh one a dem apple watch deh just in case a anything and yuh lose yuh phone ", she said .

" ok mummy" .

She went to her room and I was about to watch something on my TV when I realise I had forgotten to lotion so I went on my dresser where I kept all my fragrances along with all my other skincare products and took up the bottle of lotion but, then I realised something , the way I had arranged the products was different , like someone had rearranged them and also, one of my colognes was missing and its the one I used the most .
