Turned passion into pain
When I pictured a promise with no proof.
Fell in love during a heavy rainfall
Feel like my standards fell when I started falling for you.
Knew something was settling besides the dew.
Put a countdown on love
Our hearts on lock down.
Frigid when a soul did
What no one else could.
When you have something all that can change is to lose it all.
Put my loyalty and love on the line which you crossed.
That's something I can never get back to give!
Wish I could let you know how I feel but insecurities show
When I'm just trying to feel secure and let go.
