Outside, Lin Mu’an and the butler heard every word of their conversation. But, Lin Mu’an forbade the butler from making a sound.

He put it on Lu Qianqian’s finger. “This diamond is from the cufflinks my grandmother gave me when I was eighteen. I modified it and fashioned it into this ring, just to propose to you.”
