finn lewis suddenly felt that zero hadn’t told him many things, and he had to discover them all by himself. when he came across this storage space, he immediately thought about zero. where was zero storing all this stuff? and what exactly was zero’s existence? finn had no idea.

thinking about it, a gleam flashed in finn’s eyes and he quickly asked loudly, “zero, i have a question. about principles like sub-space storage, do you provide storage services? like if i spend points with you, would you help me store stuff?”

“we provide storage. the price to store an item for twenty-four hours per cubic

meter is 200 points. accoramg to this  stanaara, the price peoples for every doubling in volume,” zero replied quickly.

“you are greedy.” finn couldn’t hold back anymore. my goodness, your hourly fees are this high?

“you can choose not to use it.”

“alright, one last question. can you modify my cell phone? at least let me have a place to check what i can exchange, how many points i have. every time you communicate with me like this, it’s easy to scare me sick, and it’s also easy for others to spot something is off,” finn pointed to his phone and spoke.

“yes.” this time zero didn’t refuse, nor even mention the matter of points. finn put his domestic cell phone on the coffee table. shortly after he put it down, the phone disappeared.

“holy shit, it hasn’t been launched worldwide yet, and you’ve already gotten me one. who wouldn’t assume it’s fake when they see it?” finn was speechless.

hey, company a hasn’t started selling yet, and you’ve already given me one. “you’re a shareholder of a company, what’s wrong with using a phone in advance?”

“alright…” finn was left speechless by the retort. he had forgotten, it seemed he indeed held the status of a shareholder in a company.

however, finn was still excited to pick up the phone and play with it. the interface looked similar to chubby callum’s a5s etc., but the screen was much bigger. finn also felt the phone was slightly heavy in his hands, which was very comforting.

upon opening a few apps, they loaded at a blistering speed, which was many times faster than the phones chubby callum and his batch used, almost instantaneous. certainly, company a’s technology couldn’t have achieved this. on the phone’s desktop, finn found an app-like icon labeled “zero”.

upon trying to open it, finn found it had a fingerprint lock. “in addition to the fingerprint lock, it also includes iris and facial recognition programs, so you don’t have to worry about the wrong person opening it. if someone else gets hold of your phone, they won’t be able to open any secret areas. for example, with this app, it would basically just crash if they tried to use it.”

finn nodded in approval. he wasn’t worried about this, considering zero’s tech capability, sorting out these things was too easy. once finn opened the app, he saw many familiar items he could exchange. however, finn didn’t have a single point at the moment.

“by the way, i have another question. when i earn money, it can be converted into points, but can points also be exchanged for money?” finn asked. “yes, one point can be converted to five thousand flame nation coins for use.”

this time finn didn’t ask any questions. being able to exchange was enough. after all, the money in finn’s hands was less than a billion, if he bought something, there wouldn’t be much left, and the money zero had was only given out when needed for a mission, finn had no way to spend it elsewhere.

once decided, finn went out of the hotel, opened the map on his phone and said, “zero, find me a property, preferably furnished, move-in ready, close to

school with good security. no villas please.”

it wasn’t that finn didn’t want a villa, but with his current money, it couldn’t all be spent on buying a house, and even if he spent it all, he probably couldn’t afford a good villa.

following finn’s instructions, the map in his hand began to flicker quickly, and soon a property appeared on the map. seeing this property, finn couldn’t help but ask, “there are still houses for sale here?”

finn knew the property well since it was right next to f university, only an estimated 20-30 minute walk. finn had seen it many times before. there was lots of greenery in the community and other facilities were pretty good, but wasn’t it opened last year? weren’t all the units filled?

“there are 11 duplex units for sale on the top floor. the house you purchase mustn’t be too small, your home needs to accommodate a lot of stuff in the future,” zero explained.

finn gave it some thought. he was very familiar with the community and was quite happy with the environment, location. so without hesitation, finn hailed a cab and headed towards the sales office of the community. while in the taxi, finn played with the map on his phone and found the phone zero had conjured truly awesome.

the gps positioning on his map was probably even better than what could be found in the army. the map was extremely accurate when zoomed in, not a bit off. and when finn switched the view to satellite mode, he found the map could even zoom in to a 1:5 scale, and pedestrians, cars, and other things on the street were all moving, as if rendered in real-time satellite imagery..
