Two days passed, Sanjay is back in town, he is waiting for Bhumi in front of her college."She is too young" He closed his eyes those words are haunting him.She came, but his face fell, What is wrong with her hand? He scanned it widening his eyes.Though she covered it under long sleeves he still can see a bandage to her elbow behind the sheer cloth.He really got upset and worried."You can't squeeze her aims, goals asking her to be with you" He couldn't take it anymore."Sanjay" Bhumi came running to him not bothering about the pain."Bhumi" He mumbled and looked into her eyes for a second about to touch her injury.She quickly took back her hand. It hurt him, She is hiding things from him.She didn't message him from the last night, Why? He was truly worried about her, a single message would've been given him some peace.He came back home last night and hardly slept an hour or two, he is missing her terribly and wanted to catch a glimpse of her first.He met someone last night and the person's words created havoc in him, his love was blamed and named as selfishness.He is strongly attracted to Bhumi, He loves her but his love seemed to be selfish.He lifted his head and looked at her, She stood before him grinning widely with a spark in her eyes.Sanjay is worried after the call, he knows very well that she is hiding about him to her brother.But why? What's the need?She is injured and now she is avoiding his questions."Your love will suffocate her, Leave her" He reminded those words.Maybe she is feeling so, he gasped some air.He already has some tough issues, insecurities in his life.Now the person he met him last night did fuel it with some more doubts.He looked pale, it clenched her heart, she is missing the spark, charm he is famous for, his witty, humorous nature.Poor Bhumi, She is unaware of his encounter with their eternal enemy.She is happy with her life, how it is progressing, but he is upset about the things going around.She couldn't stop smiling at him, where he stood looking at the bandage, crouching his eyebrows, thinking, wandering."Sanjay" She spoke breaking the silence, He closed his eyes for a second and sighed.Till now she wasn't as excited as him now she seems to be interested in him but he got frozen, what's to run away from everything."I didn't expect you," She said very sincerely, It's true no one came for her like this, No one waited for her like this.Sanjay was the first person.If people think she is crazy about his small gestures, let them think but they do touch her heart all the time.He forced a smile, "I wanted to see you" He admitted it on her face, though the person's words broke his heart they can't stop him from seeing her and meeting her."Me too" She lowered her head and smiled pursing her lower lip.She is blushing and it made Sanjay sad."Do you have any class?" He asked her, walking towards the canteen.He is trying to keep the things professional but he is doubtful, how far he can control his heart."Nothing important" She is searching for ways to cheer his mood.She can see clearly something is bothering him."I have an important thing to share with you," She said occupying the chair, in a joyful tone.She expected a witty reply from him but he kept quiet to his surprise."Okay" He smiled a bit, she kept a sulky face."I followed your words Sanjay, They did work.." She spoke with pride, emphasizing every word.He didn't get what actually she is saying, he looked at her in suspicion."Leave her, she needs someone better" His heart stopped for a second. He is trying his best not to remind themHe took a moment and looked at Bhumi trying to process her words."I talked to my brother, Stepbrother and slowly trying to confront my feelings to him." She said cheerfully."That's great" Sanjay felt happy for her for a second.Her smile filled his heart.She valued his words, it brought some peace to his mind.Still, that encounter and those words are haunting him."And about this, A guy messed with him and he hurt me" She revealed half of the truth, except who her brother is? Kunal."What?" Sanjay almost freaked at her words and quickly folded the sleeve of her shirt gently.His eyes became moist and She saw it, She gasped, What is he doing to her?He knows he can mask his feelings, love, and affection but not his pain.He can't see her hurt both physically and mentally."He will accept you Bhumi, Who can hate you?" He said examining the injury."Leave her you moron"He just wanted to close his ears."The thought of losing you kills me Bhumi" He closed his eyes."What?"Her heart stopped for a second, Did she hear what he say? or is she hallucinating again?"I am happy Bhumi" He quickly mumbled something diverting her.Sanjay needs some space, Till last day he was so into proposing her, now he wants time. He is completely and truly confused now.Past confronted him and created havoc in him, the person hurt him with words, they were draggers they killed him and broke his heart into pieces, still, he can't get over Bhumi, his love is true, his pain is true."Meet you in the evening" He got up taking the goggles, trying to hide his emotions, wet eyes.Bhumi is perplexed with his emotion, she thinks he is angry with her for not texting him in the night but she was busy talking with Kunal, She wanted to see Sanjay and if she talks to him it will make her more reckless.But for her, she hurt him, she wants to rectify her fault, She wants to surprise him with something big...She sat there for a few minutes, thinking about Sanjay, he left her with a lot of questions, she needs answers."Smash..######.......######." She heard something hitting the pole."It's a car, It hit the pole," One of her classmates told her, looking at her frightened face.She stood up and walked to the ground, people gathered at the point.She is feeling suffocated, she can't breathe, Her heart missed its beat, she felt like someone taking away her life from her.She is choking badly and a lump formed in her throat."Sa...an...jay..."She shook her head for a second and cursed herself for thinking something so nasty.He is fine...He has to be fine...She consoled her heart."Red color car" She heard someone saying it.She stood away from the crowd.She mustered all the courage and moved towards the person, clearing her way."Professor.Ramesh."She heard a girl spelling his name.She quickly looked at the person, She burst into tears, It's not Sanjay.It's not Sanjay, she smiled a bit and ran away from there wiping her tears.That's the moment she realized her feelings towards him, she loves him, she loves him.She is smiling, shedding a few tears.Her expressions are priceless.Sanjay never saw someone worrying about her, She did.They both are standing opposite to each other hiding their emotions, pain, love......She loves him and she is happy about it.He loves her and he wants to get over it.He is the one who made her smile, who boosted her courage, Who shared her pain, he is the perfect man,He made her feel so special.She wants him in her life, She has decided.
