Not A Small-Town Girl
me?"
Actually, Jaden didnât use much strength. He didnât expect Xavier to cry directly. He was shocked and at a loss. "I didnât use much strength. Donât cry. Iâll rub it for you." After saying this, Jaden was stunned. How could he rub Xavierâs butt?
"Who wants you to rub me? Let me go quickly! Hurry up!" Xavierâs tone was fierce.
"Iâll put you down when we get to the room. Be good!" Jaden tried his best to lower his tone. âWhy do so many things happen? I just went to the Nathor Palace to get rid of the poison...
"Put me down quickly. Iâm very dizzy. Donât move." Xavierâs head was facing down. His blood was flowing backward, and his face was red.
Jaden stopped carrying Xavier and hugged Xavier in his arms. "Drink some hangover soup later. Letâs see if you still dare to drink next time."
When he finally reached Xavierâs room, he quickly placed Xavier on the bed and covered Xavier with the blanket. "You will be fine after a good nightâs sleep."
"Iâm not going to sleep. Iâm not sleepy..." As soon as Xavier finished speaking, he fell asleep.
Jaden smiled and shook his head. Xavier finally fell asleep. He sat by the bed and watched for a while before getting up and going downstairs.
As soon as he went downstairs, he saw the Darling family sitting in the living room paying attention to him, including David.
"Mr. Darling, Mrs. Darling, heâs asleep. Get someone to make some hangover soup for him later. I still have something to do in the company, so Iâll leave first." Jaden felt his hair stand on end under the gaze of this family, but his expression remained unchanged.
"Jaden, itâs all thanks to you today. Iâm sorry for what Xavier did to you. Stay for dinner," Howard said with a smile.
"Thank you, Mr. Darling. I wonât be eating. I have a project to discuss with David later." He wouldnât allow David to stay here either. "David, letâs go first. School will start tomorrow. There will definitely be some things that Miss Darling has to prepare. You wonât be able to help even if you stay."
"Itâs good for young people to be busy. Come and eat with David another day," Vivian said gently.
"Alright, Mrs. Darling, weâll get going first." Jaden got up and pulled David out. David didnât even have the time to say goodbye to Danielle.
