Chapter 122-2
Not A Small-Town Girl
"Dad, Mom, if you put so many snacks in it, it will spoil." Joseph couldnât stand it anymore. They filled a pile of cakes. What if the cakes went bad and Danielle had a stomachache?
Danielle walked downstairs and saw this scene. The huge living room was filled with dozens of suitcases and a pile of things that had yet to be packed. âWhat are they doing? Are we going to escape?â
"Baby, youâre here. Itâs really hard for you to go to school. Why donât you not go? We will take care of you. I am really worried that youâll suffer outside." Vivianâs eyes were red as she held Danielleâs hand.
Danielle was speechless.
"Mom, the schoolâs environment and accommodation are quite good now. You really donât have to worry." Danielle smiled and comforted her family members who were packing her luggage.
"I have to bring a first aid kit for Danielle. If she gets a stomachache, a headache, a cold, or falls in school, she can use it." Austin muttered to himself and stuffed the first aid kit into the suitcase. "Danielle, if youâre injured, you have to call us immediately. Weâll take you to the hospital."
âGod, I am a doctor myself. Although Danielle thought so, she said, "I see, Austin. Looking at these suitcases, she felt that her scalp went numb.
"I also have to bring some sunscreen for Danielle. The sun is too strong and itâs easy to sunburn her skin. We should also pack some fresh fruits for Danielle." Elliot packed dozens of boxes of fruits of various types.
Danielle said, "Elliot, we canât bring too many fruits. Itâs such a hot day and theyâll spoil the next day."
"Donât worry, your dorm has a fridge, so we can pack it full. You are definitely not going to eat well or sleep well at school, so we should bring as much food as we can for you," Joseph always felt like he hadnât brought enough, racking his brain to think of what else he could bring. It really took more effort than negotiating a big project.
Those who didnât know better would think that she was on vacation. This was too exaggerated. Danielle couldnât help but remind them, "Iâm going to school. I can go home every week on vacation. I donât have to bring so many things. The dormitory canât even fit them!"
Howard felt that Danielleâs words made sense. His eyes lit up. "Thatâs right, the dormitory is too small. Joseph, donate two buildings to the school and let the school reserve a floor for Danielle as a room. That way, she can bring everything."
"Dad, thereâs really no need. I prefer living with my classmates. I like that kind of atmosphere." The more Danielle tried to persuade them, the more exaggerated they became.
"Danielle, Iâve already thought of it for you. When the time comes, you can choose a few that you like and let them stay with you. Wouldnât that solve the problem?" Howard felt that he was really smart. This way, Danielle wouldnât have to suffer too much.
Vivianâs eyes lit up. "Hubby, youâre too smart. This way, we might as well let the servants and chefs at home follow Danielle to school. We can also take care of Danielleâs life."
