Chapter 125-3
Not A Small-Town Girl
June. Iâm Danielleâs classmate. Are you Danielleâs brother?"
"No," David answered for the sake that June was Danielleâs roommate.
"Oh! I thought you were Danielleâs brother. Could you be Danielleâs boyfriend?" June smiled sweetly.
Juneâs behavior made Danielle a little uncomfortable.
"Her fiance." David was no longer patient enough to talk to unrelated people. He had come up to talk to Danielle, but June kept talking to him.
âSo heâs unmarried! Thatâs a pity, but itâs fine that he isnât married. However, June tactfully didnât say anything more.
"I just went to the principalâs office with Howard and your brothers. We filled out some basic information. If you need anything at school, just contact me," David said.
"I see. Others donât know about me, but donât you know?" Danielle asked. âWhy are they all worried that Iâll be bullied? Do I look so easy to bully?â
"Danielle, Iâve placed these snacks that you like here. Itâs more convenient for you to take them if you want. And I put these fruits in the fridge for you. Eat them with your classmates! Call me if you want anything else to eat. Iâll get the servants to bring it over," Howard muttered to himself as he organized things, a side of him that would surely surprise anyone from other families who might see it.
"Baby, Iâve made your bed and hung your clothes in the cabinet. Itâs just that this cabinet is too small to fit a few pieces. The bags are all placed on the lower level, and the shoes are over here." Concerned that Danielle might not be clear about the arrangement, Vivian emphasized the details.
