Chapter 52 - 52 To Do an Autopsy
I Was Seduced Into a Marriage After Failing to Charm the Tyrannical Bigshot
52 To Do an Autopsy
Shen Hanyu didnât say anything. Instead, he simply stared at Wen Xu.
His eyes were like a dark and empty wasteland, but inside, there seemed to be an invisible fire burning. Wen Xu was shocked.
âShen Hanyu, why are you looking at me like that?â
Wen Xu felt uncomfortable under his gaze. âIâm asking you a question. Did you hear me? Why are you looking for someone to dig up my sisterâs grave?â
âTo do an autopsy,â Shen Hanyu said calmly.
Wen Xu felt as if he had been struck by lightning. He staggered and almost fell down.
He said incredulously, âMy sister is no longer around. Moreover, she doesnât have any immediate family members in Ming City. How are you going to do an autopsy?â
âI have my ways,â Shen Hanyu replied indifferently.
Wen Xu didnât know what Shen Hanyu had in mind, but when he saw that the workers had already dug up the grave, he immediately stepped forward to stop them.
However, the workers didnât listen to him at all and just kept digging.
Wen Xu stomped his feet in anger and turned around to scold Shen Hanyu. âShen Hanyu, how can you be so f*cking cruel? You wonât let my sister rest in peace even after sheâs dead, arenât you afraid of retribution? I donât believe that no one can stop you today!â
Wen Xu turned around to look for the cemeteryâs management staff, but they didnât give Wen Xu any face at all. âWho are you to this Miss Sang?â
âIâm her younger brother!â Wen Xu was furious.
The cemetery caretaker didnât believe him at all. âAll these years, weâve never seen you sweep Miss Sangâs grave? On the other hand, Mr. Shen would come every few days and sit in front of Miss Sangâs grave for a few hours.â
Most of the staff in the cemetery knew Shen Hanyu.
In private, everyone was speculating whether this Miss Sang was the girl Mr. Shen loved deeply, and that was why he couldnât let her go. She had been dead for so long, but his obsession was still so deep.
After hearing the words of the cemeteryâs administrator, Shen Hanyuâs face was expressionless. On the other hand, Guo Muyang was startled. âNo way! President Wen has never swept Miss Sangâs grave before?â
Back then, his relationship with Sang Qianqian was clearly better than that of a biological brother and sister.
He had thought that Wen Xu would visit Sang Qianqianâs grave every year, but it turns out he was wrong.
âWhat does it have to do with you whether I come to sweep the grave or not? Even if I didnât come, it doesnât change the fact that Sister Qian is my big sister!â
Wen Xu was flustered and exasperated. He yelled at the cemeteryâs caretaker, âHe dug up my sisterâs grave without permission. Arenât you going to do anything about it?â
âMr. Shen has already communicated with us about this.â
The cemetery caretaker showed an understanding expression. âMr. Shen said that he might have made a mistake back then. The ashes buried inside arenât Miss Sangâs, and he wants to ask the relevant authorities to do an appraisal and identification. Weâve agreed. After all, in the five years since Miss Sang had been buried here, no one had come to visit her grave except for Mr. Shen.â
The management of the cemetery had already acknowledged Shen Hanyu as the representative of Miss Sangâs grave.
Wen Xuâs face darkened.
On the other end, the workers had already pried open the marble coffin lid.
Shen Hanyu walked up to the marble coffin, bent down, and carefully picked up the box of ashes. Then, he turned around and left.
Wen Xu grabbed Guo Muyang, who was about to follow them. âHow does Shen Hanyu plan to identify the ashes?â
The ashes had to be compared with his sisterâs DNA or the DNA of her immediate family members. He didnât believe that Shen Hanyu could find them now.
âHanyu still has a part of Miss Sangâs blood.â Guo Muyang sighed slightly.
Wen Xu didnât understand. âWhat?â
âIt was Hanyu who sent Miss Sang to the hospital on the day she passed away.â
Guo Muyang felt an indescribable feeling in his heart. âAt that time, Hanyuâs clothes were stained with Miss Sangâs blood.â
There were still traces of Sang Qianqianâs blood on the clothes, so naturally, they could also extract her DNA.
Wen Xuâs eyes widened in disbelief. âShen Hanyu still has the same blood-soaked clothes?â
No one knew what kind of expression Guo Muyang had on his face as he nodded.
To be honest, Guo Muyang had the same feelings Shen Shaofeng had within the past few years. Shen Hanyu really sank into the abyss that trapped him and wasnât willing to come out at all.
He couldâve thrown the set of clothes away, but he refused and kept them until now.
And this was just one of the many unimaginable things he had done.
Wen Xu stared at Shen Hanyuâs back, not knowing if he should be shocked or concerned.
âIs Shen Hanyu really crazy?â he mumbled.
He kept a bloodied shirt for five years. Additionally, he even directly dug up a personâs grave and took their ashes out just over a slight suspicion!
Was this something a sane person would do?
Guo Muyang sighed silently. âEven if heâs not crazy now, heâs almost there.â
As long as the name Sang Qianqian was mentioned, Shen Hanyu would feel as if he was possessed.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Although he had been crazy in the past years, he was still somewhat rational.
This was the first time he had gone so crazy as to dig up Sang Qianqianâs grave.
â
When Sang Qianqian arrived at the office to work, she discovered a bouquet of fresh flowers on the office table.
There was a card in the flower with only two words: âGood Morning.â
Sang Qianqian was speechless.
The colleague on the night shift said that the flowers had been sent over at five in the morning. This good morning was really early.
Yin Jinhui poked her head over and stared at the card. She nearly screamed from excitement. âQianqian, this is Doctor Xieâs handwriting! Did he send you the flowers? Have you two finally made progress?â
Who in the hospital didnât know that the youngest and most promising Associate Chief Physician in the Orthopedics Department, Dr. Xie Shiâan, clearly had a different attitude toward Sang Qianqian?
It was a pity that his love was unrequited, and the two maintained their relationship as colleagues.
Now that Xie Shiâan was sending flowers to her in public, did that mean he had already broken down Sang Qianqianâs walls?
âNot yet,â Sang Qianqian replied vaguely.
It wouldnât be too late to announce it after she met her family at night and officially confirmed her relationship with Xie Shiâan.
âThen why did Doctor Xie suddenly send you flowers?â Yin Jinhui was suspicious.
âYou have to ask Doctor Xie. Iâll stop now, I have to go for ward rounds.â Sang Qianqian quickly ran off.
In the end, she met Xie Shiâan at the elevator.
The two of them looked at each other, both feeling a little unnatural. Sang Qianqian coughed. âGood Morning.â
Xie Shiâan looked at her. âQianqian, tonightâ¦â
âCome and find me tonight. We can go together,â Sang Qianqian replied. After she finished her sentence, she didnât know what to say and felt a little awkward. âI-Iâll go for my rounds.â
She didnât know why, but when she got along with Xie Shiâan, she felt calm. So why did she feel so unnatural after she made things clear?
Xie Shiâan smiled. âAlright. Iâll come and find you then.â
The morning was Sang Qianqianâs busiest time of the day, and now that it was finally noon, Sang Qianqian decided to take a nap after lunch.
Just as she fell asleep, her phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Wen Xu.
