“So I think I don’t need this kind of concern,” Jasper replied. “Besides, when you care about someone, do you like to arbitrarily accuse them? Do you think you know how things should be without understanding anything? Don’t you find it ridiculous?”

“The post was very clear, and besides, if William had nothing to hide, why would he have blackened the forum?” the other party said.

I want to try something different,” she made an excuse, not wanting him to become the subject of gossip and not wanting him to hear any more hurtful words.

“Okay,” he replied.

She let out a sigh and the two of them stood up, walking towards the school gate.

Once outside the school, Jasper found a KFC. “It’s been a while since I’ve had this. Let’s have it for lunch today.”

He seemed lost in thought and nodded in agreement.

The two of them walked into the restaurant and found a seat. “What do you want to eat? I’ll go order,”

William said.

“I’ll have a burger combo, non-spicy,” said Jasper.

William turned around and ordered two combo meals. After a moment, he returned to their table and placed Jasper’s meal in front of her.

Jasper picked up the burger and began to eat.

“The taste of this place hasn’t changed much over the years,” Jasper said. “When I was a kid, I used to love their food. My mom would bring me here every week.”

“But you gradually stopped liking it, didn’t you?” William asked.

“But occasionally having it once is not bad!” she said. “By the way, why aren’t you eating?”

He brought the food over and now only she was eating!
