The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn
The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn Chapter 181 BOOK 3 CHAPTER 17 ~WILLOW~
âIâm not taking part in the kissing booth,â I tell Autumn.
She gapes at me.
âWhy?â She demands.
âWe had so many plans for today,â Clarissa complains. âAnd all of it included getting Dante jealous.â
âHe doesnât even like me; why do you think he will get jealous?â I ask her.
She sighs, âI donât think you know much about men like Dante. Iâm telling you that we need to get him jealous.â
âHe asked me nicely not to take part in this,â I explain to her. âI donât want to do anything to make him upset with me.â
Autumn quirks a brow at me, âAre you telling me that Dante asked you not to take part?â
I nod.
She looked at Clarissa, and they both looked excited about this news.
âHeâs so jealous.â Clarissa laughs.
âNo, heâs not.â I disagree. âHe said that Anya would be upset if he let me participate in something like this. He said that the guys from the academy may try to take advantage of me and that I was too innocent for this.â
Autumn doubles over in laughter. âI canât believe thatâs what he said to you.â
âDante truly does have a way with words, doesnât he?â Clarissa asks.
I wasnât sure what was so funny.
âIâm sorry, Willow, but you are taking part in the kissing booth this year,â Autumn tells me.
My forehead creases, âwhat are you talking about? I already told Dante that I wouldnât be taking part in this.â
âWe have a plan,â Autumn whispers. âAtticus will let us know exactly whoâs entering the room so we can enter at the right time.
You wonât have to kiss a stranger. None of us would.â
I frown, âisnât that against the rules?â
âI donât care about the rules when it involves Damon.â Clarissa mumbles. âI rather burn this entire place down than let him kiss another woman.â
âAre you sure that this plan will work?â I ask them.
I didnât want there to be a possibility of their plan not working. If that happened, I would be f****d to kiss a stranger, and thatâs the last thing I wanted. Dante was the only man I wanted to kiss, even if he didnât want to kiss me.
âOh, weâre sure,â Autumn assured me. âIâll do everything in my power to ensure it does.â
Sharon is right in front of us with a group of her friends. I watch as she purposefully puts on lip gloss in front of me.
âIâm sure Dante is a great kisser.â She shouts. âI canât wait for my chance to kiss him.â
Autumn and I again had to drag Clarissa away before she could make a scene in public.
âI swear one of these days; sheâs going to get whatâs coming to her.â Clarissa growls.
âWe know that she wouldnât get an opportunity to kiss him,â Autumn says. âThereâs no reason for us to get worked up over her.â
âYouâre right,â Clarissa says, finally calming down.
Girly screams suddenly erupt around us.
âItâs starting,â Autumn tells me as she drags me forward.
âIâm not sure if this is a good idea.â I protest. âIâm sure if I get Dante, he wouldnât even want to kiss me.â
âItâs better than him kissing someone like Sharon, right?â She asks me.
I frown; the thought of Sharon kissing him angered me.
I nod, âOkay. Letâs do this.â
. . . . . . . . . .
~DANTE~
âAre you hearing those screams?â Griffin asks. âThose women canât wait to get their hands on one of you.â
Atticus looks sick after hearing it.
âWe have a plan,â Atticus says as he looks for Damon for confirmation.
What did they know that they werenât telling us?
âYou have a plan?â I ask him.
He nods, âItâs nothing that you have to worry about. Didnât you say that Willow wonât be participating?â
I nod; thankfully, sheâd listened to me. Unlike my brothers, I didnât have anything to worry about.
âItâs starting,â Damon says. âWhoâs going first?â
âGriffin,â Atticus answers as we watch him enter the room from the back entrance. âHeâs signed up to take part more than once.â
I chuckle, âI wouldnât expect anything different from our younger brother.â
One after the next, everyone around us takes their turn. It was almost time for me to enter. I just had to get it over with.
âArenât you curious to find out who youâll be kissing?â Atticus asks me. âYou can check upfront. The first person in line will kiss you in the next few minutes.â
I wasnât curious, but I still wanted to know who it was. I walk out to the front, hoping that none of the girls would see me looking. I didnât want to hear their screams again.
Luckily, they were too excited to look my way. I follow the line, searching the faces, Sharon is first in line, but the person behind her makes everything spin.
Willow.
What the hell was she doing there? She agreed not to partake in this event. So then, why the hell was she in line?
My hand tightened into a fist as I f****d myself to have some self-control. I wanted to walk over to her and pull her out of the line, but that would cause too much attention on us.
I storm back to Atticus, who looks surprised to see me looking like I wanted to kill someone.
âAfter me, whoâs next?â I demand from him.
âEric.â He answers me. âEric is next.â
My eyes are narrow when they zero in on the person in question.
I walk over to Eric and grab him by his shirt, âswitch places with me.â
âW-what?â
âDonât make me repeat it, or Iâll drag you out of that room the second you enter it.â I threaten him.
His eyes widen as he slowly nods, âItâs not that big of a deal. You can have my spot if you want. All you had to do was ask.â
I let go of him and storm over to Atticus.
âWhatâs wrong with you?â He demands.
âI canât believe she lied to me,â I growl. âShe f*****g lied!â
