Chapter 255
The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn
The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn Chapter 255 Book 3 Chapter 90 ~DANTE~
âKill her?â I canât recognize my own voice. âDid you just say he wants to kill her?â
Every vein in my body threatened to burst at the thought of someone hurting Willow. I f*****g watched that bastard take her away from me, and I could do nothing about it. Not only did I fail her since the start of our marriage, but I also managed to fail to protect her as well.
I was useless when it came to keeping Willow happy. I realized too late that I loved her. I took too long and let my past ruin our future, and now I would have to pay for it for the rest of my life.
âYes,â Caroline answers for her sister. âCassius plans on killing her.â
âI donât understand.â I frown. âWhy would anyone want to kill Willow? What had she ever done to anyone?â
âItâs not what she has done, itâs what sheâs capable of doing,â Caroline explains.
âAnd what is she capable of doing?â I demand.
They werenât making any sense at all. I didnât even know Willow had sisters until now. All this time, we all thought that Anya was her sister. It would explain why she was so different from her.
âSheâs capable of killing him.â She answers me. âCassius, Autumn, and Clarissa, the three children of Azai Reign. They possess the power that could destroy our world. My sisters and I possess the power to stop them.â
My brothers and I all freeze at her words. They had the power to kill Reignâs daughters? It meant that both Clarissa and Autumn were in danger around these women.
They couldnât be trusted even though they were Willowâs sisters. They seemed trained. It meant that they were preparing all these years to get rid of them.
âWhat the hell do you mean by that?â Damon demands. âYouâre not going anywhere near Clarissa and Autumn. If you try to lay a finger on them, I would rip you both apart.â
âI canât promise for the future, but right now, I can assure you that we donât want to hurt them. We need them to get Willow back safely.â Winter hisses at him. âThis isnât about any of us; this is about the safety of our world. Cassius must be stopped before he causes any more damage. For that to happen, we need to get Willow back alive!â
âI think if we are given a chance to speak to our brother, things might be different,â Autumn says. âClarissa and I have no intention of taking over the world. We are nothing like our father. If Cassius is anything like the both of us, we can help change his mind.â
Caroline sighs, âIt isnât that easy, Autumn. You may think heâs just like both of you, but heâs just like his father. Heâs already just as evil as he is. My sisters and I are the only people standing between him and what he truly wants. You may not believe me when I say this, but if he gets into your heads, he will have the power to control both of you. Heâs already more advanced and powerful than the two of you combined. Youâre both new to this; he had years of practice.â
Clarissa and Autumn look at each other, and I can see the fear in their eyes. I donât think theyâre concerned about themselves. I believe they are scared that they will lose their brother before getting to know him.
âThere is one other thing you should know,â Caroline announces suddenly.
Everyone turns to look at her. What else could she possibly have to say to us? Sheâd already said some things that were freaking hard to believe.
âIs it more bad news?â Griffin asks. âBecause we can all do with some good news after everything youâve just dropped on us.â
âItâs a mixture of both.â She answers him as she turns to look at me.
Something in her eyes made me feel uneasy. Whatever it was, it was most definitely a serious topic.
âShould you be the one to break the news?â Winter asks her. âIf Willow chose not to say anything to him, we shouldnât either.â
Caroline looks at her sister, âhe needs to know what heâs about to lose if we donât get Willow back in time.â
âWhat the hell are the two of you talking about?â I demand. âWhat did Willow not tell me?â
I didnât understand how anything they had to say to me could be more important than Willow getting kidnapped.
âWillow isnât the only one in danger.â She finally answers me.
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â I demand.
âWillow is pregnant with your child Dante.â She announces. âAnd now Cassius has them both. Thereâs no telling what heâs going to do.â
P-pregnant?
Pregnant?
This couldnât be.
âNo,â I whisper. âThatâs not possible. She canât be pregnant.â
âAre you saying the two of you didnât have s*x?â Winter demands.
My face pales at her question.
âShe went into heatââ
I canât finish my sentence.
Itâs all too much for me to take in at once.
Willow was pregnant? With my baby?
I didnât think there was anything in this world that would make me feel worse than I did before, but I was wrong. It felt like someone had just ripped my heart out of my chest. Iâd done so much to hurt Willow, and now she was pregnant. Pregnant.
And now a psychopath f*****g had her.
No.
This wasnât f*****g happening!
