When a person has unchaste thoughts for another person, then any sentence the other person says was no longer simple, and every word has an underlying meaning left to the understanding of the listener.

Therefore, when Suo Yang said that he liked the brand of Shen Huiming’s cufflinks, Shen Huiming understood that, at least between him and Jiang Tongyan, Suo Yang was more interested in him.

Of course, Shen Huiming was a very clear-headed person, and he was not a smartass who keep going and talking more. Sometimes it was not appropriate to speak too clearly when dealing with some people.

The two men stood on either side of Suo Yang, looking at each other with a smirk.

Suo Yang said nothing, let go of Shen Huiming’s hand, and went back to find a drink.

The man who just danced with Jiang Tongyan passed by them and dropped a line, “When rivals in love meet, both would be green with envy, and you two will have blood dripping from your eyes!”

Jiang Tongyan smiled, “Rivals in love? Are we two rivals in love again?”

Shen Huiming replied seriously, “Depends on how you interpret it.”

He touched his pocket, turned to look at Suo Yang, who was sitting there drinking, and said to Jiang Tongyan, “Let’s go out for a cigarette?”

The two of them needed to have a good chat, just like real love rivals.

Jiang Tongyan followed Shen Huiming to the outside, shut down all the noise in the room, and faced the noise outside.

He took the cigarette handed by Shen Huiming, lit it for the two of them, and asked with a smile in his eyes, “The first time?”

Shen Huiming took a drag on his cigarette and smiled too, “Probably.”

“Let me also remind you of one thing, the so-called ‘introduction’ is a two-way choice, it’s not a one-shot deal.” Shen Huiming lightly rubbed his cufflinks with his fingers, he said, “If Suo Yang also expressed his affection for you and decided to try a relationship with you, I’ll withdraw unconditionally. However, if he doesn’t make a stand, we are all still outsiders in his world.”

Shen Huiming smiled, “We’re done talking and we’re done smoking, shall we go back?”

The two turned around and walked back together.

Jiang Tongyan said, “Old Shen, to be honest, I am very confident to break that curse this time.”

“I’m also very confident,” Shen Huiming said with a smile, “to keep that curse.”

The two returned to the room where the people were dancing wildly. Suo Yang was chatting with Zhou Mo about something while drinking.

Jiang Tongyan said, “I haven’t had sex for more than a year.”

Shen Huiming glared at him, and raised his hand to give Jiang Tongyan another hard slap on the chest, “Behave yourself, don’t be obnoxious.”

Jiang Tongyan laughed and said, “Look at you, I’m just saying about it. I don’t believe you don’t have that in mind for him.”

How could he not?

Shen Huiming looked at Suo Yang who was sitting there.

Some people’s presence was comparable to that of the strongest wine, which could make you slightly drunk at a distance, and by the time you got closer, you couldn’t wait to get drunk in the smell.
