Caliana POV

The girls looked at me with malice and I knew that they were about to do something bad, I looked

around but didn't see any patrol. I backed away as I sized them up, I couldn't fight them all at once,

not now at least.

" Hello Luna," Candace greeted coldly,

" Here for a good time again? You didn't find me when you came to my room earlier so you decided

to paint my walls instead,” I said sarcastically.

" Except this time no one brought red lipstick, it is my favorite,” She retorted.

" Whatever shall we do about that?" I sighed, pretending to think.

" Yes, what to do,” June sighed, inspecting her sharp claws.

" Wait, I have a better idea,” The other girl raised her hand, she had a pretty round face and was

wearing a small pink flared skirt and a white tuck-in shirt. One could tell she wasn't the smartest of

the group and when she spoke, my suspicions were right

"1 can run and get some, my house is not too far from here," The other two girls groaned and the

girl frowned, not knowing why her friends reacted the way they did. I smiled at her

" That is a very good idea, run along now," She smiled at me and ran in another direction before

Candace could stop her. Now that the dummy was gone, it left me with the two bimbos.

" Pink is a disgrace,” Candace sighed and moved her malicious gaze back to me. She started to

approach and I readied myself for a fight. While we stared each other down, her friend, June, moved

past me and was standing behind me. Candace threw a punch but I ducked and she hit her partner

behind. June kicked my legs and I fall to the ground, I quickly got up and grabbed her hair, pulling it

and hitting her in the stomach a few times with my knee, she clawed my side and I let go of her. She

staggered still breathing heavily. I used this opportunity to fight Candace, unlike Martha or June,

she was strong actually. I underestimated her. I extended my claws and scratched her neck, it was

deep and blood oozed, her eyes bulged at what I had done and she retaliated by kicking me into a

tree and clawing me while she could. I was disoriented by the impact and June jumped at me,

hitting my side repeatedly while the other kicked me until I fell to the ground. They both kicked my

whole body with their legs and I covered my face.

" Not so strong now!" I heard a sneer. My whole body was burning and my head pounded in pain

after the blows I received.

"1 brought the lipsticks, couldn't find red, only baby pink... Wait for a second, what are you guys

doing," I heard Pink's distant voice.

" What do you think?"

" She's the Luna, the alpha will punish you for this," The dummy's voice was laced with fear, she

crouched down and inspected me

" Pink, Martha is in the hospital because of her,”

" Well- well, it ... was her fault for going at her, " She stuttered, her voice shaky. She was scared. " I

can't let you do this, my father was recently promoted to general and if he finds out about this, he

will disown me," She said, her voice resolute. Pink was standing in front of me, her stance protective

" Pink! How can you do this? We are your friends,” June said in utter shock, not believing that Pink

was against them.

"1 know but please, we shall be banished for this, she warned you already, remember,"

" Only the alpha can punish us and he sure would not side with this cunt over me, and besides, if he

gets angry, I can only soothe him the way I know how, in bed with rounds of sex," Candace spoke

confidently and my heart shattered, I knew it was true, the alpha can never side with me against

these pests. I was shocked that Pink didn't waver in her stance.

" You've done enough, she’s barely conscious, do you want to kill her?"

" And what if I do?" Challenged Candace.

"I'm sorry, I can't support you. I have a duty to the Luna and this pack," She whispered, not too

confident.

"You sound just like your father, June get her out of the way," There was a struggle and I was

unable to see Pink's legs.

" Alright, I won't kill her, I might just put her in a coma where she will not wake," Candace laughed,

she raised her hand and before she could slash my neck, Pink was holding it.

" HELP, HELP!" The girl screamed, and Candace stood up.

" Fuck you, Pink," She cussed and ran away, in the corner of my eye, I saw familiar eyes watching me

before I fall into darkness.

Alpha Edward POV

Just who does Caliana Meyers think she is to talk to me like that? Does that girl know that I can end

her existence and that of her pack without blinking? I was growling and breathing heavily. Ward was

enjoying this. He liked that our little mate knows how to fight back.

' This is not funny,’ I groaned.

My mate was going to be the end of us if we are not careful, she was beginning to be so important,

and just how dare she asks me to let her go?

She can't leave me ever, but I can't accept her. I can't ever be vulnerable because of a woman again.

I ran fingers through my hair as her face replayed in my head, Caliana Meyers. Why did she have to

be my mate? Why is destiny this cruel, I had a chosen mate already and she plotted against me.

After Jane Anne betrayed me and died soon after, I forbid anyone from mentioning her ever. Slowly

it was like she never existed, the only good that came out of our relationship was my daughter,

Love. The only girl who will never turn against me. I left the field and went back home, It surprised

me that Caliana wasn't here yet. I checked the time and it was passed 10 o'clock. Where was she? I

am sure she is locked in her room. I sighed and poured myself a drink.

" Daddy!" My daughter called, she was on the staircase, waiting for me. I went to her and asked

" Hey, baby, why do you look worried?"

"I was searching for Caliana in her room. Come and see what I found,” Her small hand grabbed

mine and guided me into Caliana's bedroom.

"1 don't think she'd appreciate us coming in here," I told her

"It's alright daddy, she told me I can come whenever I want,” She pushed open the door and what I

saw angered me, the furniture in the room was trashed and there were red stains on the sheets,

" Dad, look at the mirror," My little girl pointed, trying to read out the words but I covered her eyes

" Sweetheart, please call Lena for me," I already mind-linked her but I didn't want Love to see all

this. Lena came two minutes later and gasped.

" How did this happen?” I questioned.

" Oh my, I don't know sir,"

" What do you mean? Shouldn't you be on top of this around here?"

" Alpha, I'm-"

" Someone came into the Luna's room and you didn't notice? What if the intruder had harmed her?"

I growled, angry.

Another maid came in and bowed to me

" Sir, I saw miss June and Candace come up here yesterday and when we questioned her about it,

she said she was here to see... You,"

I knew it had Candace’s hand in it. I left the room but stopped

" Where's Caliana?"

" She is not back from training, sir,"

How come? Everyone is back already. I mind-linked Garret but he hasn't seen her either, she left the

training field in a rush. She was fucking running away from me. I almost shouted.

' Find her,

As I did some paperwork, my eyes occasionally trailed to the digital clock. It has been an hour and I

haven't heard any news from Garret.

' Did you find her?’

' No alpha but I'm tracking her scent to the - Oh fuck, I've found her," I get to my feet worriedly, I

can sense agitation from his inner Lycan.

' What is it? How is she?

"Injured, I'm taking her to the hospital now,’ He said and I was on my way there before he could

finish the words, how did she get injured? I wondered.

*Third Person's POV*

The Luna of the Golden stone pack was a werewolf, a mere werewolf, he smirked. Most people

didn't know this but a Luna is the most important person in the pack, a Luna is the center and heart,

without her, most alphas weaken. It sure will be easy to kill this woman.

The man watching intently was shocked to see that the werewolf Luna was not at all weak, she

managed to fight the two girls confidently even though she was outnumbered and the girls fighting

her were Lycans!

' She is cunning too, His counterpart spoke, seemingly interested in this new Luna. He saw her last

time from afar but seeing her this close and in daylight, she was even more beautiful, a rare kind of

beauty. He swallowed and wanted to intervene when the two Lycans overpowered her but he

couldn't blow his cover or let it known that he was there. He felt a kind of relief when the pink-

haired girl came, protecting the Luna.

The three exchanged words while the woman on the ground groaned in pain, he could see the

injuries on her body but what was surprising was how fast she healed, not even Lycan's healed this

fast. Her wolf was strong indeed. Soon the two girls ran away and the other went to get help, the

man who was watching appeared from the shadow, risking his life by stepping into the territory, he

crouched down and sighed, removing the strains of hair that covered the Luna's face. For a moment

he was stunned, watching her like a great work of art. Her lovely face captivated him still. Her upper

lip was still bleeding and what he did next surprised even him, he bent down to lick off her blood

and he closed his eyes at how delicious it was. His fingers caressed her cheek. He was in a trance

and in awe of this woman that he didn't notice the man and a woman who was running in his

direction, he stood up and went back into hiding. The warrior checked the Luna for signs of life and

was relieved to see she was alright

" How did you know she was here, Pink," The warrior asked suspiciously.

"1 just saw her run this way and I followed her, I found her lying on the ground,” She lied,

" She smells .. strange,” Their voices disappeared as they went back deep into their territory.

" Find out everything you can on that woman, every detail and how she found herself as Luna of the

Golden Stone Pack,” He ordered his right-hand man who was watching the whole scene,

" Are you sure about this,Sir?" The right-hand man was worried that the arrival of this new Luna will

screw up their plan especially now that his boss seemed interested in her.

" Yes we might use her, and you know I want to know everything that goes on with Edward Chasia,"

He answered in a monotone.

" Yes, sir,"

He looked in the direction the warrior took the Luna for a long time before disappearing.
