CHAPTER 14

Pon's POV

he parked the car in the parking lot, I was silent the whole ride, feeling this vibe that cast over me, I was in love with the man but he didn't even love me back, the only reason he married me is because it was all part of a deal.

Sailub's hands touched my thigh as I finally came back to my senses after looking at the darkness.

"pon? you okay?" he asked as I glanced at him who looked confused and worried.

I pressed my lips together as I nodded and I put on an awkward smile as I took off my seatbelt and quietly placed it on the side.

he smiled as he also did the same and then got out of the car, I took my phone that was charging in the cupboards and I got out of the car as well.

the parking lot was a normal parking lot in Thailand and it was huge, because of how famous the restaurant was, many people would come by and eat here.

"luckily I reserved a table for us or else we would've had to go to another restaurant." he said as I nodded and giggled softly.

he held my hands and guided me to the entrance of the restaurant, as we opened the door, I saw so many people lined up outside and so many people inside

what is it in this restaurant that made everyone so addicted to it or wanted to try it? I've never been here all my life because of financial issues.

feeling overwhelmed of getting lost in the huge restaurant, I held onto Sailub's hands that were bigger than my small hands and I held him closer.

"scared?" he whispered, as I glanced up at him with a nod.

he led us upstairs and there was a beautiful table in the middle of the 2nd floor, it was filled with beautiful flowers and sunflowers.

"i wanted to surprise you, just to repay you of how kind you were these past few years." he said as I smiled at him feeling surprised if the surprise.. of course, idiot.

he smiled as he offered me a chair and helped me sit down like I was some kid or.. a princess.

"Mr Kwanamphaiphan, Mrs Kwanamphaiphan, what would you like to order?" the waiter said, he knew already?

Sailub smiled and sat down in front of me who held on a suit so it wouldn't touch the table and smiled.

"i'll take the usual.. and how about you?" he asked me as I looked at him and pressed my lips together.

the waiter gave me the menu, gosh if I didn't have the menu, I wouldn't know what to pick.. seeing the menu, I was even overwhelmed by how many choices I get to pick.

what the hell is caviar?

"u-uhm.. just the italian pasta.." I mumbled softly at the waiter as he smiled nodding his head while writing the orders down.

"pon?" Sailub called me.

"khab?" i replied back looking at him as he took the menu.

"are you sure you want Italian pasta only? don't you want another dish?" he asked as I scratched my neck and shook my head.

to be honest, I didn't really know what to order or what to eat especially in an expensive restaurant, I didn't want to be a burden to Sailub.

"no, it's unacceptable.. give him the Wagyu steak as well." Sailub said to the waiter as the waiter nodded while smiling putting down the order again..

I've heard of Wagyu Steak before but I heard it was hella expensive.

"p-phi.. it's okay.." I was cut off by Sailub. "No, it's fine.. just enjoy eating and don't worry okay? I ordered the same things as you." he said as I pressed my lips together and nodded.

as we waited for the food to arrive, I decided to observe the area around me falling into silence.

I saw many people on dates or with their girlfriends and friends who went on dates as well.

I looked at the scenery outside that gave the restaurant its natural lighting from outside.

I sneezed softly as I rubbed my eyes that were itchy, I was having an allergic reaction.

"are you okay?" he asked, I glanced at Sailub who looked worried and I smiled as I nodded as I took a tissue and sneezed again.

"may I excuse myself?" I asked as he nodded in approval and I got up from my chair and I went to the bathroom.

I saw 3 boys in the bathroom as I Isolated myself in the corner and used the first sink I saw, I washed my hands and my face as I took a dry tissue from the dispenser and wiped my face and threw it out in the trash can.

"hey? are you okay khub? you look like you have an allergic reaction? here's a pill, it'll help you." the kind boy said as I thanked the younger boy and smiled.

I took the pill and stuck it in my pocket as I bowed down and left the bathroom.

I went back to the table and saw Sailub with the food and I smiled as I sat down and apologized.

"a kind boy gave me medicine for my allergy, he's a nice boy.." I mentioned.

"mhm.. but...don't trust anyone these days hm? you don't know what pill or anything they give you, some dangerous people in this world are hard to avoid." he mumbled

"anyways.. just eat." he said as I smiled and nodded, I took the fork and took a slice of wagyu and ate it.

my.. my.. it tasted like heaven! it was so delicious.

"is this food or heaven?" I asked as Sailub chuckled and took the Italian pasta and twirled it around his fork and gave it to me.

"ah.." he gestured for me to open my mouth and fed me the pasta.

a cheesy and very creamy flavor had entered my mouth, it was so good, an explosion of flavors just entered my mouth.

"isn't this fun?" he asked, as I gave him a smile and I nodded reluctantly.

"thank you khub,.." I saw as he gave me a smile and nodded.

"no worries, I can take you out on many dates.." he said as I giggled and nodded.
