CHAPTER 22

Pon's POV

"pregnant.. two lines.. I'm pregnant.. I have a baby in me.." I mumbled as my hands trembled holding the pregnancy test, it showed that it was positive and had two lines..

I cursed under my breath, it was a blessing and also.. I was scared that sailub may have found out about the baby.

the atmosphere in the air was getting darker, I felt more scared.. the feeling, the vibe was off..

"what am I gonna do..? I need to finish the deal.. so he could pay me.. so I could pay off the debt.. but I have a baby!" I screamed as I was gonna cry..

"shh! pon.. shh.. it's okay." he said as he hugged me tightly, he held onto Garfield tightly and cried in his arms.

I felt overwhelmed.. with joy.. sadness.. confusion.. disgust in myself and.. I felt nervous and I felt.. so.. lost..

the atmosphere in the room was quite unsettling..

"pon.. it's okay, you'll be fine." he said as he looked at me wiping away my tears, I'm glad to have a best friend like Garfield.. or else I didn't know what to do in my life.

"do I tell Sailub? or lie to him that I'm just getting fatter or.. maybe.. I can tell him I accidentally got pregnant by another alpha?" I said as he shook his head.

"no that's stupid, just.. don't say anything till he points it out, if he does just change the topic." said Garfield as he smiled and placed me on the bed.

"go to sleep, that's what mothers need.. they need sleep and you're a mother so go back to sleep, don't stress out, it's bad for the baby." said Garfield as he placed me down on the bed and wrapped me with a blanket.

"thank you naa.." I said as I cuddled with the blanket and hugged the plushies I packed.

"if Sailub calls me.. just tell me I'm busy or I need to go somewhere, I have to work tomorrow so I'll just be excused if we're gonna go to the doctor." I said, while Garfield nodded.

I sighed as I watched Garfield leave the room and I laid in the bed holding the blanket so I could feel warm.

I sighed as I pressed my lips together and I slowly fell asleep as I closed my eyes..

"hello? I'm sorry Pon is busy right now, sorry khub." a familiar voice said, I opened my eyes slowly as I rubbed my eyes..

I saw Garfield holding my phone beside his ears as if he was talking to someone, I slowly sat up and looked outside the room looking at the sky seeing that it was sunset..

"what time is it na?" I asked as Garfield gave me the phone and sighed as he smiled. "it's the afternoon."

how long was I asleep for? I looked around my surroundings and felt like my body was aching a lot and the temperature of my body was hot.

"are you feeling okay?" he asked as I nodded, slowly getting up from my bed.

I looked at him and smiled. "I'm hungry, can I eat?" I asked as I went downstairs with Garfield following me.

"What do you want?" he asked as I thought about it, I was kind of craving for.. mango sticky rice.

"mango sticky rice.. hehehe.. I don't know.. it's just.. tastes and sounds good." I mumbled as he nodded.

"stay here okay? I'll go out and buy you some, don't be stubborn." Garfield said as I sat down on the couch and nodded.

I went to go watch some TV and listen to the podcast I was always listening too.

mostly about killing, horror, kidnapping and all those things, it makes me feel more at ease but.. I'm an innocent baby.

after quite some time I felt that Garfield came back, I turned around and saw Garfield taking off his shoes carrying a plastic with mango sticky rice.

"yumm!" i praised as I slowly got up and went towards him as I took the plastic while giving him a mischievous smile and took it to the dining table.

"you're that hungry?" Garfield asked as I nodded and I went to open the foam.

I opened it and the smell of the sticky rice was addicting, I smiled as I took one bite, there it is..

I screamed and I smiled as it was so good, I quickly took another bite and then.. Garfield smiled as he looked at me.

"can I have a bite as well?" he asked as i nodded and I gave him a spoonful of the serving.

after eating I quickly got ready for bed and went to sleep.
