CHAPTER 23

Pon's POV

I went to the office after getting ready to go to work, I was going back to normal, going back to work and being a secretary to Sailub, I was so nervous seeing him today.

I walked inside the office as I saw Sailub in his working zone as he typed away at the computer, I respectfully bowed down and respectfully greeted him a good morning.

"where were you?" he asked as he looked at me, no good morning. He's already asking.

"at a friend's house.." I said as I walked to my desk and placed my bag on the chair as I sat down looking at him while I pressed my lips together.

the atmosphere in the room was a bit awkward, I felt so weird.

"why? do you have a problem with me?" he asked as I shook my head quickly,"No sir! no.. no problem.. it's just..I wanted to be alone for a while.." I mumbled as he glared at me.

"why? should I cancel our deal?" he asked as I shook my head, "N-no sir.. it's.. just.. personal problems.." I mumbled as he looked back at his computer.

I looked at him softly as his jaw was clenching, it was visible he was annoyed and angry at me..

"if you have a problem with me, tell me, I don't like lying or.. having problems with anyone, especially my own wife." he sternly said as he looked and continued to do his work.

"s-sir.. I'm sorry really, I was just.. having problems with myself and I didn't want you to be involved in it.." I said apologizing, he just gave me a nod.

"Pon, if you ever have any problems, tell me and we'll work it out, alright?" he said as I nodded.

"today we'll go to a dinner with my parents, is that fine with you?" he asked as I took out my phone and checked what time I needed to go to the hospital to get a check up.

"what time will we go to the dinner?" I asked as he checked the time on his silver watch.

he hummed as he looked at me and softly said, "we'll leave the office at 7:30 PM to have dinner, got it?" he said as I smiled and nodded.

"Sir, may I excuse myself later 3:00 PM? I have an urgent matter at the hospital and I finished my work and task, after I will come back and I'll go to the dinner with you." I said as he looked at me.

he looked at me as he raised one of his eye brow and furrowed after. a couple of seconds.

"why? do you need to go to the hospital? you're perfectly fine, right?" he asked as I smiled and gave him a simple nod.

"yes, I'm fine it's just Garfield, I'll go with him since I'm the only relative that will be with him, is that okay?" I asked, please say yes.. please say yess..

he fell silent and hummed in approval and gave me a simple nod and smiled at me.

"thank you sir." i said as I smiled and went to do my work.

I realized.. me and Sailub only have 6 months left until me and him divorce.. after that.. we won't be in each other's life again.. only the secretary and boss relationship.

I took a deep breath as I tried to control my stomach which was hurting a lot, it felt like period cramps, maybe worse..

"do you need to use the bathroom?" he asked as I looked at him while my hands were laying on my stomach, I lied again.. and nodded.

"you can go." he said.

I smiled as I nodded reluctantly feeling a little hesitant to go out and lie that I was feeling like I was gonna poop and feel embarrassed.

I got up from my chair and went outside holding my stomach, I went to the 11th floor and then I went to use their bathroom.

I opened the door and saw President Ping with Khun Supanut, I couldn't take it anymore and threw up on the sink.

"Secretary Pon!" Khun Supanut said as he ran to me and helped me, I continued to throw up and I quickly opened the faucet and washed my face.

"are you okay?" he asked as I nodded, holding my stomach and wiped my face.

Khun Supanut gave me his inhailer and I thanked him while sniffing on the inhailer as President Ping looked at me worriedly.

"what happened? are you okay?" he asked as I took a deep breath and nodded not wanting to cause any trouble.

"does your stomach hurt?" Supanut asked as I nodded.

"pon.. are you pregnant? you're releasing pheromone.. and a calming and nurturing pheromone.. are you pregnant?" Supant said, he was an alpha.

I cursed under my breath, I forgot.. I'm an omega who emits the pheromone of signalling I'm pregnant.. there's a high chance the biological father or the alpha who is the father can sense.. that I'm pregnant..

"p-please! don't tell anyone!" I begged them as I looked at them with a worried expression.

"shh.. it's okay, but.. why? what's wrong..?" president Ping asked as I looked at both of them while pressing my lips.. "i-i.. I don't want Sailub to know.. he will be ashamed of me.." he asked

"why do you think about Sailub not accepting you? you both are married? I know my brother can accept it." said Ping, I shook my head.

"President Ping, you know me and Sailub's deal.. I can't get pregnant or.. whatsoever! it was all a mistake! but I don't want to kill my baby! I just.. I don't want him to know.. I don't want to stress him out.." I mumbled.

"we will keep it a secret, don't worry.. if Sailub asked us the truth, we will say it."

"thank you khub." I thanked them.
