CHAPTER 29

Pon's POV

I saw Sailub holding the pen as we were in the office sitting down next to each other, we were finally getting a divorce, I'll pay the deathly debt and.. resign as a secretary to stay with garfield and prepare to be a mother.

I glanced at Sailub a few many times he also made eye contact with me but stayed silent the whole time.

Tui gave up the divorce papers and he was the one who will take care of every single thing.

I took the black pen and clicked on the head and the pen sprung out and I started writing the signature on the paper.

"here khub." he said as I gave Sailub the divorce papers, he took one look at it and took a deep breath fixing his suit and taking the pen from my hands.

he quickly looked at his trembling hands and signed his signature, Tui quickly took the papers and thanked us both.

I smiled and nodded, I got up from the couch when I felt a cold hand yet a sweaty hand that gripped onto my wrist.

"can you explain why you're re-signing..?" he softly asked, Sailub who looked at me with his scary yet adorable and soft gaze.. made me melt..

"it's personal matters.. I'm sorry." I mumbled as he looked at me and got up, "If you have a problem with me, it's the perfect time for you to tell me right away, please.. just tell me, what's wrong?" he said.

"khun Sailub.. it's best.. you don't know, ask President Ping, maybe he can give you the answers, but for now.. thank you for everything Khun Sailub, the check for 120M.. the hardwork, the effort and everything, I really love and admire you a lot, thank you for everything and see you soon.. don't worry.. I'll come back." I said as I held his hands, I smiled and walked towards him slowly.

he looked down at me and his eyes were watering, I opened his arms letting myself hug him, his arms quickly hugged me back, it was a gentle yet tight hug.

"Don't leave me pon.. please.." he whispered in my ears as his voice trembled.

Sailub was the type who hated that getting lied to, fooled by and someone who didn't tell him the truth or kept him from knowing the truth, I was the reason why he'll hate me.

"Khun.. I will be back, okay? make sure to take good care of yourself and I'll seek myself out and I'll go to the condo and take my things." I said as I slowly looked at him my arms still wrapped in his waist as he looked at me.

"you won't leave me, not yet.." he said as he continued to hug me even tighter, he continued to cry in my shoulder as it was the only height he could bend down on.

he cried and cried, Sailub cried three times the whole year I've seen him was when he found out Khao cheated on him, Khao broke up with him and when Khao got married to the manstress or the paramour, she really married her paramour which made Sailub cry even more.

Sailub sniffed as I felt his cold tears that were absorbed inside my polo, I never really had anyone close to in the office besides Sailub, President Ping and Supanut.

"Khun.. are you okay now?" I asked as he shook his head, I sighed and decided to sit down.

I sat down while I continued to hug him, I let him wrap his arms around my waist, he was the type who's cold and never really showed his emotions and never got affected by them but he was crying a lot.

"Khun.. don't cry anymore, you'll be okay, I'll contact you everyday okay?" I said.. not everyday though.. depends.. on my other alter ego mother Pon.

"i can't.. I can't let go of you.." he mumbled as I sighed, I felt bad, I wanted to leave him so he wouldn't found it I was pregnant but I got carried away by him and I was comforting him.

Sailub wasn't letting go of me, he continued to cry as my back was aching badly, it took 10 minutes until he just stopped crying and just kept sniffing while hugging me tightly.

suddenly the door opened revealing Ping and Supanut who looked confused and puzzled.

"what happened?" president Ping asked.

"i resigned.. I will be taking a break from work, Khun Sailub must not want me to go." I mumbled as I looked at Ping for help.

ping quickly took away Sailub whose face was red, his eyes were watering and his cheeks were filled with water drops, his nose was red and his mouth was red yet dry.

"Don't make him leave!" begged Sailub as I got up while Ping held him down, "I love you Khun Sailub, see you soon." I said as I said my final goodbyes and I walked out with Supanut helping me.

"i think it's time we tell P'Sai." Supanut said as I turned to look at him, I pressed my lips together as I took a deep breath.

I was away from Sailub now, he wouldn't care, he wasn't my husband anymore and I'm not his secretary, I'm not his problem anymore.

"it's best if he finds out maybe.. after a few months, when I'm finally in my third trimester or maybe never." I mumbled as I sighed.

"he'll eventually find out, Ping could never keep secrets from Sailub or he's dead." said Supanut, I sighed, I could never escape from that man.

"take care of him for me, thank you for everything Phi, see you soon and maybe you'll see my baby soon." I said as I smiled, I waved my hands and said goodbye.

I walked to the elevator and went back home, my heart ached.. I could never imagine loving someone can hurt this as much as well.
