CHAPTER 4

Pon's POV

I woke up and the bright light from the sun glared at my soft skin and I slowly opened my eyes, my vision still blurry.

I rubbed my eyes and I saw Garfield opening the curtain blinds and waking me up.

"good morning your highness, wake up now!" said Garfield as I nodded and sat up.

I took my phone and then I checked the time, luckily Garfield woke me up in time.

"did you sleep okay? I heard there were gun shots earlier last night, I was so scared.. luckily you went back here just in time." said Garfield.

gun shots.. I do remember some kids on the streets before I went to Garfield's place, they were acting all high on drugs and looked drunk.

luckily I didn't buy anything from the convenience store and decided to just eat here at Garfield's place or I would've died.

"there were some weird teenagers roaming around, you don't really know what could happen to the world, anyways get ready and I'll drive you to your office." said Garfield.

I mumbled and nodded as I got up and took the suit he gave me and I placed it on the bed as he went downstairs to make breakfast and I yawned.

I stretched my body and went to the bathroom as I took a shower.

I finished and put on my suit and bowtie and started drying off my hair, luckily I have some powder inside my bag and started to fix my face.

my face was okay but I didn't want to generate oil while at work since sometimes I look like a mess because of the freaking weather.

I went downstairs after I'm done, I cleaned the bedroom before and took all my things.

I smelled waffles and pancakes with coffee and eggs with ham on the side with fried rice, he's the only one here but he always cooks so much.

"woaaa! so good!" I praised him as I clapped my hands like a beaver.

"tsk.. come and eat, I'll pack up some lunch for my co-workers." he said.

that's why he cooks so much, he could be a chef instead of being a doctor, I chuckled.

"soo good!" I said as I sniffed it and took one bite and my eyes rolled back and I smiled taking another bite of the waffles.

"it's so good! you could be a chef." I said as I praised him again, he chuckled.

"i would but it takes so much work and stress, I don't want that so I want to just cook when I want too." he said as I nodded while eating happily.

I would usually eat a quick meal from the convenience store that was next to my office building or inside the building but never this meal so I was beyond happy.

"hurry up and finish eating so you could arrive early for work or Mr Husband will get angry or miss you~" Garfield teased.

I rolled my eyes watching him pack 2 Bento boxes with every single meal he made and placed them in this cute small bag where they fit while I eat.

"the Bento boxes are cute, you look like a mother who's preparing lunch for their kids." I teased as I giggled.

"ehem, I don't want to get pregnant yet and I'm not having kids any time sooner not until you have kids." Garfield said as he zipped up the bag.

"hurry up, just leave them on the sink and let's go." said Garfield as he fixed his uniform and I nodded using the tissue.

I placed the dirty dishes in the sink and we left for work.

I arrived at the office and looked at Garfield before he stopped the car infront.

"goodbye bestieee, drive safe!" I said as i smiled at him.

"mhm, stay safe at work and give me some news alright? see you." I smiled as I opened the door and got out of the car.

I closed the door and said goodbye again and walked and then went up to the 12th floor.

I greeted the others that I came across too.

I opened the door to the office and I saw Sailub already there on his iPad talking to Khun Pavel, Sailub's cousin.

Sailub's family members work here with Sailub and one of the richest as well in the business world.

"good morning khub, Khun Sailub."

"good morning, wife." he replied.

I was about to close the door but the door slammed me as I stood there in shock, I was not expecting that kind of answer.

"what? did you say?" Pavel asked as he looked at me and to Sailub.

"i just greeted my future wife, is that bad?" Sailub said sarcastically.

"w-whaat..?" I mumbled followed with me cursing under my breath as well as I looked at Khun Pavel shocked.

"i thought you didn't believe in marriage or love?" Pavel asked as he was almost busting out of laughter.

"well, I can't say the marriage is real either." said Sailub as I excused myself and sat down on my desk.

the day was just starting and it's already so damn hectic, I took the schedule plan for today and started roaming through the pages.

"i'll leave now." said Pavel as Sailub hummed and Pavel left the office room.

"Khun Sailub, you have a meeting to attend later on to discuss the tradings with the Reatiayatikul Group." I mentioned.

"mhm, what else?"

"we will need to go to this party that was held by one of the investors that invited you last week, I'll pick out your suit later this afternoon so before we go to the venue you're already ready." I replied.

"oh, that's today? well you're coming with me right?" asked Sailub as I nodded.

"i was thinking of going on a date with you later this evening.. that's too bad, well maybe we can go on a date later after the party?" Sailub said.

a date? me and him? we aren't even married yet, but we're going on a date already?

"uhm, sure sir.. whatever you want." I said as I smiled at him warmingly.

"i'll also give you the contract later today, I'll have Tui print it out for me and sign it later, alright?" said Sailub as I nodded.

the contract I forgot..

"all the things that will happen in our relationship or the rules regarding the marriage will be there, if you would like to proceed with the following rules and regulations you will sign it but if not, then don't and you won't get a raise or I won't pay off your debt, got it?"

Sailub was strict with such contracts, as far as I know, I smiled and nodded as I agreed.
