CHAPTER 9

Sailub's POV

I arrived at the club, and parked my car in front of the club's entrance, I saw Pavel's car as well that was parked in front and then I got out of the car and then I walked towards the entrance.

I walked inside and saw the flashing colorful lights that flashed everywhere, every corner of the club.

I saw the owner walking towards me, he greeted me while I greeted him back as he shook hands with me.

"thank you sir for purchasing the VIP package, I'll lead you up and the wines, the drinks are unlimited and there will be a staff upstairs guarding the room and will be serving you your guys orders." he said.

I thanked him and I nodded as he led me upstairs to the VIP reserved room.

it was beautiful and it was amazing, it was a glass balcony where we sat down, I saw Pavel sitting down with someone beside him.

"Sailub, you're here.. this is Pooh." he said as I nod my head as I sat down comfortably as I took the wine that was in front of me and took a sip.

"how's marriage life?" he asked while laughing and giving me his iconic smirk.

"just normal, nothing special." I replied back as I continued to drink the red wine, he hummed and smirked as he laid his head on Pooh's shoulder.

"look at the poor boy, you really like Pavel?" I asked the boy as he softly smiled and nodded while holding Pavel's hands.

gosh, I don't get how people fall in love or whatsoever.

"i feel bad for you, where's your wife? at home? did you sneak out or did you ask for permission?" he asked as he looked at me.

"i asked for permission, I didn't want him overthinking where I went, especially since he's my secretary he should know where I am." I replied back.

I ordered the staff that was guarding the door to get me 2 beers and I waited as I looked out of the glass watching those people dance the night away.

"what did you tell me before? you wouldn't marry anyone besides Khao?" he said, I sighed as I knew Pavel was gonna bring up this topic.

"i was sick of hearing mother repeating the sentences all over and over again about me getting married, of course I needed to marry someone else just to stop her from pestering me about getting married, I don't care how old I am but I'm not marrying anyone again except for this time." I said as Pavel scoffed.

"what if you fall inlove with the kid? huh?" he asked as I fell silent.

the contract said no falling in love, it was clear, I can't call inlove with the kid nor the kid will fall inlove with me.

"then.. I don't know, it's just a short period of time, I'll continue to be his boss, go on dates and such, time moves fast, the marriage will be quick and I'll pay him." I replied back.

"tsk.. I don't get it, can't you move on from Khao? I mean.. it's not worth being like an old man who cant fall inlove with someone, you're like a damn caveman." he scoffed.

"i just.. it hurts what she did, I know that but you know, she's my first love, my first everything, I can't help but still feel like there's hope for us both." I replied as the staff came back with both the beer.

I took one beer and started drinking it, I placed it down after gulping half of the beer, I took off my suit and placed it on the side and leaned my back on the couch.

"come on Sailub, move on.. Khao probably got married already to someone else in Sweden, stop thinking there's hope, maybe you and Pon are meant to be, no one else knows you better than that kid." said Pavel.

I gulped as I sighed knowing the truth that it was only Pon who stayed by my side during the darkest days of my life and who was always by my side.

"but I just can't, maybe.. it's not meant to be.. let's just stop talking about this nonsense, let's just drink and I'll go back home and rest." I said as he nodded.

we both drank until we both couldn't take it anymore, luckily there was a trusted staff that helped me get back home and helped me back to the penthouse.
