"Uncle , Why are you driving so slow ? Drive fast na" Eight years old Little Amaira said to her driver uncle who chuckled at her cuteness

"This is the normal speed. I'm not allowed to drive fast. Sorry princess" The driver said to her making her pout

"Who order that ? If Papa did , then I'll talk to him. You drive very fast fast" Little Amaira said driving her imaginary steering in the air

"The Queen ! Your Mumma 's order , Princess" The driver said making a scared face

"Mumma ! Dont tell her I said something. You drive as Mumma said" Little Amaira whisper glancing at her Mother who was busy in talking with her husband

"Laado ! Come. Papa wants to talk to you" Ananya called her daughter who jumped on the backseat from the front one

"Sorry Mumma" Amaira hold her ears as her Mother glared at her for doing the stunt

"You always do that. First you stunt then Sorry Mumma" Ananya scold her daughter who pout cutely making her heart melt

"Okay fine ! But dont do that again. You can get hurt na baby" Ananya pulled her daughter close who kissed her Mumma 's cheek making her smile

"No one is missing Papa" Salvatore huff from the other side of the video call making both the Mother-Daughter duo laughed

"I'm missing you so much Papa" Amaira said , giving her Papa , doe eyes with a innocent face

"And How much principessa ?" Salvatore asked his daughter

"This much. No No ! this much" Amaira said spreading her arms on the air making her mother laughed

"Aww ! My baby" Salvatore melt at his daughter 's innocence

"Okay Now ! Where are the kids ?" Ananya asked her husband about her sons , not seeing them around

"I put them to their bed as its night. And trust me ! Your sons also listen to you. they literally gave a fight just because they dont wanted to sleep" Salvatore said remembering his fighter with his each and every son , annoyed

"C'mon Sal ! My sons are so good. Stop complaining about them. They are the purest soul on this earth" Ananya said defending her sons even though she knew her sons must have putted a tough fight against their father

"You also ! Only My Principessa listen to me. Right Princess ?" Salvatore asked looking at his daughter who was attentively listening to her Mumma-Papa cute bickering

"Huh ?" Amaira gave both of them a confused yet cute face making them smile

"Papa is saying that you only listen to Your Papa , not Your Mumma" Ananya blinked her eye-lashes giving her daughter a sad look

"Very Bad Papa ! Now I will listen to Mumma and not you. hmph" Amaira hide her face onto her Mumma's neck as Ananya laughed loudly making Salvatore huff as he stared at his daughter a traitor look

"Sal ! I'm cutting the call cause your daughter is sleepy" Ananya said ruffling her dauhgter's hair as she again yawned

"Okay ! Call me when you reached there. take Care of  You and her, both. I love you both. Byee Amore" Salvatore said as Ananya said 'love you too' before cutting the call

"Sleep now Laado" Ananya made her daughter sleep straight on the seat placing her daughter 's head on her lap

Ananya glance at her watch, it will take 3 hours to reach to her parent's house

She was happy and excited to miss her parents after whole 2 years

She kissed Amaira on her cheek and started staring the outside view with her hands caressing her daughter 's hair

After an hour -

Amaira woke up from her nap , rubbing her blue eyes with her cute little fist she sat up looking around the car knowing that they are still on their way

"Mumma" Amaira callled her Mumma but bit her tongue seeing her Mother sleeping

She smiled , kissing her mothers cheek and sat backward , seeing the car that were flowing her

She knows that these cars are send by her father for their protection but she frowned when she saw some other cars crashing with her bodyguard Uncle 's car

"Uncle ! Stop their car crash" Amaira yell to her driver uncle who nervously yet scaredly speed the car making her scared also

"What happen, Alex ?" Ananya asked the driver as she woke up by her daughter 's voice

"Queen ! Our enemies cars are following us. They had already killed her security" The driver said fearing her as she hold her daughter close to her

"Drive fast then. We have to be safe. Amaira is with us" Ananya said tighten her hold on her daughter who frown at her mother 's behaviour while the driver started driving in a high speed

"What is happening Mumma ?" Amaira asked as tears glinted in Ananya ' eyes , she hold them back as she cant be weak. She has her daughter with her. She had to get them out ,safely

"Nothing ! Some bad guys are here. No need to get scared. Mumma is here. Hmm ! I will not let anything happen to you" Ananya whisper as her voice was cracking while Amaira nodded at her mother's word

"Queen please bend your head" The driver yell , Ananya did as he said and they all heard a gun shot

Ananya immediately held her daughter close to her hiding her from everything. She putted her shawl on her daughters as tears started flowing from her eyes

Ananya slowly looked up and saw the driver who directly got shoot on his forehead. She gasped in fear , she looked back seeing many car following them.

The car was losing her balance as the driver was dead. SO , Ananya had to take a risky step

"Sit here. Dont come out ! Dont look up. Okay Amaira" Ananya said placing her daughter on the bed seat making sure that she wont be seen by any of them

Amaira nodded understanding her Mother's serious words , tears were also there in her eyes.

Ananya kissed her daughter 's head before sitting on the driving seat after pushing the driver out of the car mumbling sorry , feeling guilty for doing that but her first priority was to make her daughter 's safely get out from this all

Ananya was driving in an insane speed making Amaira scared but she trust her mother.

Ananya looked back from the rear mirror and sighed seeing the empty road. She thought she had come far away from them

"We are fine A--" Her words got interrupted by as her car was hit by the other two on her either side

Ananya tried to handle the steering but failed as her head on her steering itself because of the continuous pressure of the two cars

her vision was getting blurry as blood came out from the side of her forehead

She immediately look back , crying and saw her daughter lying unconscious on the back seat with her head covered all in blood

"AMAIRAAA !" Ananya halt as a gun hit her on the back of her backbone.

She cried in pain , placing her one hand on her wound and cried more feeling immense pain but putting her pain aside she reached for her daughter

"Mumma is here Laado ! See ! Open your eyes Amaira" Ananya cried tying her scarf on her daughter 's head to stop the bleeding , She yelped as her back hit the backseat because of the car moving in a circular motion

Ananya held her daughter tightly , taking a deep breathe , she opened the door and jump from it , closing her eyes

She hit the ground as she scream in pain but didn't get her hold weaken, still keeping her daughter with her , she roll many times and stopped at the end

She breathe as she tried to sat up but her backbone had given up, She cried praying to the god to gave a little more strength

"Please Jesus ! For few minutes. My daughter. I have to save her" She cried as she again tried to get up with little Amaira on her

"Yes ! Just ignore the pain Ananya. Yes !" She encouraged herself and smiled as she stood up but her smile got vanished as she heard their yelling

"Mum..Mumma" Amaira opened her eyes and cried loudly hugging her mother , she was feeling so much pain on her head

"Shhh ! Shhh ! Laado. Mumma is here. Okay ! Dont cry" Ananya made her daughter calm as she started walking stumbling on her steps but she had to keep up

For her Daughter 's sake. She cannot give up

"Hide here Amaira ! Dont come out. Even after my yelling. You must not come out. And when these bad uncle will go away run. okay ! Asked someone good person for a phone and directly call your papa" Ananya instructed her daughter who nodded while crying

"And you Mumma ?" Amaira asked making her fingers fist on her Mumma's sleeve as both of them cried

"I have to fight those bad uncle. Hmm ! Just do as Mumma said" Ananya requested , Amaira nodded with a crying face

Ananya held her daughter close to her for one last time. She cried , caressing her daughter 's hair

"There she is" She heard them yelling as she immediately pulled Amaira away from her , kissing her forehead mumbling "Always remember Laado. Mumma loves you so much" with that Ananya hide little Amaira in the bushed

Ananya held her back , running in the other direction as the men easily spotted her , one of them again shot her making her fall on the ground , crying in pain

Amaira placed her little palm on her mouth to not make any noise while she cried seeing her mother 's condition

"Riccardo ! You..." Ananya eyes widen as she saw her old friend from her collage

"Yes ! Me ! Poor Ananya. If you had chosen me, then it would have never happen but no You had to chose that Salvatore" Riccardo said bending to Ananya 's level as she glared at him in anger

"This is the reason ! I chose Salvatore. He is the best. My Love. My Man. My husband. I love him with my whole heart. You are not even the dirt of his shoe. Your obsessed self is the reason , no one gave you attention. That is the reason , Sal was everyone 's favourite. You are nothing like him infact you can never be like him"

Ananya spit on Riccardo face who grabbed her hairs and shot on her chest as she cried while Amaira cried wanting to run her Mumma but stop as her mother shook her head , looking at her with a smile which was un-noticed by Riccardo or his men as they were already searching Amaira

"You wont get to my daughter , Asshole" Ananya stood up with so much difficulties with a wooden stick on her hand

"You are going to st---" Ananya cutted him by hitting him with the wooden stick making a cut on his face as all his men attention went to her

Ananya signaled her daughter who cried but stood up slowly and ran away without looking back while Ananya fight untill she saw her daughter was far from them

She cried falling on the ground before closing her eyes

Amaira ran aimlessly on the road crying , holding her head as it was paining so much

"Mumma" Amaira cried turning back to get to her mother but blink her eyes as a flash fall on her car , she opened her eyes to see a car coming in her way

The car hit the little Amaira who flied in the air because of the impact and fall on the ground only to get covered in blood from head to toe

She closed her eyes feeling so much pain and disappeared in darkness

"Dad" Alessandro said to Salvatore who places his daughter on the stretcher which was taking her in the operation theatre

"Principessa. Your Papa is here. Just fight okay, For me. For us" Salvatore walked with the stretcher as everyone followed him with tears on their face

"Dad stay here. I will do the surgery" Carlos said in shaky voice as everyone stopped at the operation theatre

Carlos went inside while everyone was just praying for Amaira

The youngsters and ladies burst into tears , no one was their except the Romano

It was Carlos 's hospital , the whole floor was empty with guards standing at every inch

"Twinny" Ethan cried as Matteo hold him who himself who crying , Xavier was crying hugging his twin-Xander who gulped down his tears while patting his back

Piero held Giorgio , Leonardo his wife Gemma , Alfredo his wife Giana and Damiano his wife Isabella who was crying all their heart out

Scared for their Principessa

Salvatore sat on the bench with his elbows on his knees and face who hidden in his palm , tears was not coming out of his eyes but his heart was dying with every second

It was same. Same the day when he lost his wife.

Only he knows , how he handle himself but if the same thing happen again , he will surely lost it

Alessandro was staring at door of the operation theatre while Cassio held his brother knowing their was a havoc of emotion inside him which he will never show

There little principessa , who always run around them , smiling , laughing , teasing her brothers , then acting like she is the victim , then making her Papa punish her brothers

Amaira who always live with a smiling face , her angry pout , her fake innocent face , her puppy face , her fake crying , her singing , her dancing , her always getting in trouble in her school

They all were praying to see all this again.

Just made their Amaira alright

Carlos breathe deeply seeing his cupcake covered in blood lying on the operation bed

"Sir , the cotton and other equipments" All the seniors and the best doctor of Italy was standing in the same room for the surgery of a girl

Even though they were the best but Carlos was the bestest in the whole world

He was in the top 3 surgeon of the world who never failed in any surgery

"Sir , Shall we start ?" Again one of the doctor said to Carlos who nodded

You can do it ~ Carlos calm himself and started wiping the blood from Amaira's head with the cotton

His hands were shaking making the other doctors shock but didn't utter a word knowing The Dr.Carlos will handle this also

Carlos started the surgery , cutting his cupcake hairs , tears glinted in his eyes remembering how much she loves her hair but he had to , for the surgery but still he didn't shave her head but cut her hair

Taking the thread in the needle for stitching as her head was cutted deeply because of the deep impact of the bomb blast

He sighed as he move forward, giving instruction to the other doctor

Please ! Amaira you have to come back ~ Carlos stared at his cupcake

Its been three hours since Carlos has started the surgery

Inside him and outside the family members were getting restless

Carlos and other doctor came out of the operation theatre making everyone stood up with a worried face as the other doctor bowed and left from there

Everyone gathered around Carlos , bombarding him with question as spoke

"I had done the surgery ! Her head is better ! But, The current which was passed in her body had damage some of her nerve. Maybe she wont be able to move her hands or legs. Thankfully, her brain was not effected by the current otherwise..."

Carlos said as his eyes tear up while Alessandro gave him support knowing it was hard for him , very much hard

They were outside praying for her but he was the one doing the surgery

"She is okay ? Is she awake ? She must be calling me ?" Salvatore asked walking toward the operation theatre as Carlos held his father 's hand

"Dad ! She is unconscious. Her body is not responding to any of our treatment. Its like.. Its like Cupcake herself doesn't want to come back. She can listen to us. Her is mind is responding but her body should also respond. Otherwise !  She can slip into C..Coma"

Carlos said making everyone burst into tears while Salvatore sat there quietly

"Just do anything ! Please Make her respond to us. I want my Twinny back , Carlos" Ethan cried hugging Carlos as he also closed his eyes controlling his tears while Alessandro hugged both his brothers

Five hours later

Its been five hours from Amaira 's surgery , everyone was sitting here , waiting for their principessa to wake up

Sitting like a numb dead body in each others arms to get a glimpse of their principessa smiling . laughing face

"SIR ! SIR ! MR. ROMAO ! SIR" A nurse came running from the operation theatre making everyone scared yet confused as Carlos came running from his cabin as he was trying to contact to the other doctor in a hope that he will get any clue to wake his cupcake up

"Ms. Romano. She..." the nurse stuttered as everyone yell at her to complete

"Move aside" Carlos ignored all this and rushed inside the room followed by everyone who stand at the entrance of the room , looing at their pale yet broken Amaira who was connected with many machine and wires

Salvatore eyes glinted as he walked towards his daughter

"Give me the injection" Carlos order as the nurse handed him the injection which he inject in Amaira's nerve who was breathing heavily

"Calm down Principessa. Shhh ! See ! Papa is here" Salvatore bend whispering the softly to his daughter caressing her hairs and holding her palm while she breathe heavily

"Dad ! Talk to her. She is responding to you. Talk to her" Carlos exclaimed feeling happy seeing Amaira pulses getting normal while she was still breathing heavily

A smile plastered on everyone 's face in hope that their Principessa is responding

"Yes ! Bambina. Good ! Listen to our voice. Come to us" Alessandro said touching Amaira's feet , caressing them as her breathe also started to get normal

"Papa is here Principessa. Everyone is here. We all are waiting for you. Please fight for us Baby" Salvatore mumbled , kissing his daughter 's head as Amaira 's breathe were normal , her pulses , her heartbeat everything was normal

"Cupcake , Can you listen to me ? If yes, tap your finger. Please Cupcake" Carlos said to his sister who tap her finger slowly making everyone grin

"Yes ! very good Principessa" Salvatore smiled kissing his daughter 's forehead

"Guys ! Leave for few minutes. Then You all can meet her" Carlos said everyone nodded happily at the news that their principessa is back

Amaira is safe !

"Dad you too" Carlos said as his father glared at him denying

"I'm not leaving my principessa alone" Salvatore said making Carlos sighed , gesturing Alessandro to talk to their dad

"Dad, Bambina needs rest. Please" Salvatore glared at Alessandro also

"We'll ask Principessa , what she want" Salvatore said to his sons who sighed at their father behaviour

"Principess , You want me to stay with you ?" Salvatore softly mumbled to his dauhgter who tap her finger making the brother's eyes goes wide while Salvatore smirked

"Seriously Bambina" Alessandro scoffed and left the room after few minutes Carlos was done with the checkup and gave his sister an injection which help her to sleep

Even though her eyes were closed but she must be feeling pain so to give her rest he injected her but not in her vein but to the wire and left the room

Salvatore who admired his daughter , caressing her hair , kissing her forehead time to time , talking with her sleeping figure

Amaira groaned flustering her eyes placing her hand on her eyes to prevent them from the light

"Wait Wait Lisa" Amaira immediately recognized that its her Aunt Ana 's voice

"And now you can open your eyes" Gemma said after closing the curtains as Gemma and Giana both stood beside Amaira

"Open your eyes ! But slowly Marshmallow" Isabella , Her Nonna said caressing her feet

Amaira opened her eyes slowly , she looked at her Aunts and Her Nonna who was smiling at her , making her frown

"I'll Salvatore and the others" Isabella said and left to tell the men of the family that their principessa is awake

"Let us help you" Gemma said seeing Amaira trying to sit with her one hand

Gemma and Giana held Amaira's shoulder gently and made her sit on the bed with pillow on the back as she is still weak

Amaira was silent , looking down to her wrist caressing the purple marks of the iron chain as her tears formed in her eyes

She blinked her eyes not wanting to cry but she really to cry

Cry so hard but in her father 's arms

"How are you feeling Honey ?" Gemma asked smiling to get any response but didn't get any

She looked at Giana whos eyes were already filled with tears seeing Amaira silent

That girl who never stop talking even for a minute is now struggling to even look up

"Principessa" The door burst by Salvatore who stare at his daughter who was looking down

Everyone came following him with a heavy heart

"White-Chocolate" Leonardo called thinking that Amaira would look up but nothing

"What happen ?" Alfredo asked to the ladies who shook their head as tears started to flow from their eyes

"TWINNY !" Ethan jumped on the bed taking his twin sister into a tight hug as everyone step back to give her space

"Ethy !" Amaira hugged Ethan back hiding her face on his neck as she sniffed tighting her hug onto her brother

"Forgot you Big Brother" Alessandro said walking forward as the brothers follow him saying "us too ?" they all went to their sister and hug her tightly

A sibling hug , the warmth, the 'I'm safe here' feeling she got which made her eyes tear up

"Step aside boys" Salvatore said as the boys dispatch themselves from their sister still surround her, sitting or standing beside her

"Principessa" Salvatore called his daughter , sitting infront of her as she herself hugged him

"Pa..Papa !" Amaira whispered as her voice cracked atlast making her burst into tears

"Papa.a" Amaira said as Salvatore pulled his daughter closed to him , taking a deep breathe to control his emotion seeing his daughter crying which was like stabbing his heart slowly yet continuously

"Shhh ! My Baby ! You're safe now. Papa will never let anything happen to you again" Salvatore said, promising to her and himself as Amaira continued crying

"Dont cry Bambina. See these boys are also crying cause you are crying" Alessandro said , himself in tears but pointed towards Carlos , Matteo , Xander , Xavier and Ethan

Amaira looked up still in her Papa's safe arm as she calm herself

"Dont cry ! You all are looking like a crying hippopotamus" Amaira said giggling looking at her brothers who stared at her in disbelief while everyone laughed listening her

"Stella" Xavier glared at his sister with folds hands

"What ? Now I can't even speak the fact" Amaira said giving him a innocent look as he chuckled while Everyone laughed

They missed this so much !

"Are you feeling any pain ? Anywhere ?" Carlos asked as everyone turned serious

"Yeah ! In my head. My back" Amaira said pointing towards her head and her back

Everyone smiled at their girl who was looking like a baby while Carlos nodded , checking her by himself

"Big bro" Amaira called as Carlos smiled while humming

"I can't pick up my left leg" Amaira said making him halt while everyone eyes widen knowing it is the impact of the current

"Big Bro ! I can't ... even feel it" Amaira mumbled trying to touch her leg but she was feeling nothing

"Papa... i can't.. " Amaira started panicking as tears started flowing from her eyes

"Calm Down Cupcake" Carlos tried to calm Amaira down

"Its just your body is weak now" Salvatore said as Amaira just cried

"Dont think about it too much bambina" Alessandro said but Amaira 's breathe started to get uneven

She started to breathe heavily as her vision started to get blurry

Everyone panicked and stood up asking Amaira to calm down but its just she can't even hear them

"What is happening to her ?" Ethan cried seeing his twinny in this condition as Xavier and Xander hide his face into their arm

The ladies started crying seeing their daughter like this as their husband provide them supoort

"Buttercup. Breathe !" Matteo said holding her palm as she cried

"Lay her down. Lay down Cupcake" Salvatore stood up from the bed as Alessandro and Carlos made Amaira lay on the bed

"Grab her hands and legs" Carlos said getting the injection to make her sleep

Salvatore grabbed his daughter 's feet and Alessandro her hands while Matteo was caressing her forehead to make his sister calm

Nothing was working, Amaira started breathing heavily

She was taking deep breathe which was making everyone breathe hitch

"Its fine Cupcake ! Everything Fine. Sleep now Cupcake" Carlos said injecting the injection making Amaira closed her eyes

Amaira again drowned into the darkness. She closed her eyes ,sleeping peacefully

Her Family sighed thinking , how will they handle her ?

It is going to be hard for them !

Just one think now they knew was

You will not face this alone Amaira ~

With that they kept staring at her sleeping figure
