Chapter 113
Love After Divorce
Chapter 113:
At Starlight Nightclub, Stella and Cherry arrived after their dinner.
People who could frequent such a place as Starlight Nightclub were either rich or noble. In short, only those with high status could enter.
However, the reason Stella and Cherry managed to enter was due to some strings pulled by the project director.
A few days ago, Stella had been here too, so she had a faint idea of how things worked.
But back then, things werenât as complicated, because she had come with RK. That man was like a VIP passâhe could simply walk in without a problem.
While walking, Cherry looked around the private rooms and said, âStella! I only know that Andrew and his gang often hang out here, but I have no idea which private room heâs in.â
Stella didnât know much about the private rooms either, but she remembered that when RK brought her here, most of the rooms were VIP.
So, she pulled Cherry upstairs and said, âSince Andrew is filthy rich, Iâm sure he wouldnât go to the regular rooms. We should head straight to the VIP rooms to look for him. That way, we can narrow down our search.â
For rich playboys like Andrew Matthews, they were likely regulars here, and someone as high-profile as Andrew wouldnât be in a low-tier room.
Stella led Cherry upstairs. She vaguely recalled the way RK had brought her before, so they went all the way to the third floor.
The soundproofing at Starlight Nightclub was particularly good. Once the doors to the private rooms were closed, no sound escaped, giving the guests privacy.
When Stella and Cherry reached the third floor, they saw the manager of the nightclub standing outside one of the private rooms, accompanied by several staff members.
Stella grabbed Cherryâs arm and whispered, âLetâs wait here and see whoâs inside.â
Stella knew the man was the manager because, when RK had come here, the manager had personally come to greet him.
Cherry followed along and replied faintly, looking at the commotion ahead.

Stella knew that wherever the manager was, it meant he was either greeting VIP guests or handling a mess.
Sure enoughâ¦
âBang!â
There was a loud noise.
The door of the private room where the manager stood was suddenly flung open from the inside!
Then, someone from inside yelled, âWhat kind of quality is this? Bring Mr. Matthews some decent girls!â
A woman was thrown out. She appeared to be barely covered, and her arms, legs, and back seemed to be burned by cigarettes. There were also whip marks on her body. It looked horrifying.
The woman lay on the ground, too weak to move.
âIâm sorry, Mr. Kim. Donât be angry! Iâll find better girls for Mr. Matthews. I guarantee heâll be satisfied!â the manager kept apologizing, bowing his head repeatedly.
But seeing the state of the woman on the floor, he didnât seem to know what to say to her. Hurriedly, he ordered his staff to take her away, then turned to the girls behind him.
âCome on! All of you go in and serve Mr. Matthews. Donât end up like Leena. Do you understand?â
It was silent.
None of the girls dared to move.
Especially after seeing their colleague in such a condition, they didnât even want to stay in the nightclub, let alone enter that room.
Not everyone dared to cross someone like Andrew Matthews. Even if he hurt someone, it was simply a matter of paying them off and leaving.
âNo⦠manager⦠No⦠we canât serve Mr. Matthews!â the girls trembled with fear, quickly taking several steps back.
Seeing this, Mr. Kim grew even more furious.
âWhat kind of trash works at Starlight Nightclub? Who gets to decide who serves whom now?â
Mr. Kim glared at the girls, and all of them took even more steps backward in fear.
Cherry watched and whispered, âWho on earth is he? What kind of person is Andrew Matthews to be so arrogant? Whereâs the law?
How can he beat people like this? Heâs torturing them! The womanâs skin is so delicate, yet heâs beaten her to this extent!â
âIâve heard before that Andrew Matthews beats men, but I didnât expect heâd also hit women! Heâs horrible!â Cherry was livid.
Stella quickly pulled her aside, afraid they would be overheard.
âDonât say anything else. Keep your voice down! If they hear us, we wonât even be able to get any deals done. Weâll just end up caught and beaten ourselves!â Stella warned.
Before coming here, she had looked into Andrewâs background and found out that he had a known tendency for abuse.
So when Stella saw the state of the young woman covered in cigarette burns and bruises, it didnât surprise her. It only confirmed that the rumors were true.
âStella, Andrew is too scary! Why donât we go back?â Cherry whispered, fear in her voice.
