Chapter 675
Love After Divorce
Chapter 675:
On the eve of New Yearâs Eve, Baby had to go home. He couldnât continue to stay with Adrian shamelessly.
As soon as Baby left, Adrian hid in his room, and no one knew what he was doing. He would only come out when it was time for dinner.
Ruben and Emily didnât go out to play anymore; they stayed at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kingston were still very busy. They didnât go out until New Yearâs Eve.
In the past two days, Stella had become more and more sleepy. RK was very worried about her, and he had been persuading Stella to go to the hospital for an examination. However, Stella was unwilling to do so.
In the afternoon, the whole family gathered in the living room, and none of them were absent.
âStella, Emily, do you know how to make dumplings?â Mrs. Kingston asked as she looked at Stella and Emily expectantly. Stella and Emily looked at each other and nodded together. âItâs just that I didnât wrap them well,â Stella said embarrassedly. She knew how to wrap them, but it didnât turn out well.
âOkay, itâll be fine as long as you wrap them,â Mrs. Kingston said. She didnât feel unhappy when she heard Stellaâs words; on the contrary, she was very happy. Mrs. Kingston pulled Stella and Emily into the kitchen, saying that she wanted to make dumplings.
Mr. Kingston and RK were playing chess, while Adrian and Ruben were watching TV.
RK looked in the direction of the kitchen with a smile on his face.
âStella⦠Emily, when do you want to hold your wedding? We will be able to prepare for it then,â Mrs. Kingston said as she looked at Stella and Emily, her eyes full of anticipation.
âI am not in a hurry. I am fine with any time,â Stella replied with a smile. She was indeed not in a hurry. To her, holding a wedding ceremony was just a formality. Although she was not in a hurry, she was still looking forward to it.
âRuben should return to the entertainment industry after the new year, so itâs not appropriate for him to get married so early,â Emily said hesitantly. To be honest, she didnât want Ruben to give up what he liked, so she encouraged him to return to the entertainment industry.
âWhatâs so good about the entertainment industry? Why donât you just get married and give birth to a fat grandson for me?â Mrs. Kingston paused for a moment before continuing.

Emily didnât say anything and just smiled at Mrs. Kingston. âWhatâs more, even if you are still in the entertainment industry, it doesnât mean you canât get married. Itâs not like you canât get married,â Mrs. Kingston said. She didnât want Ruben to be in the entertainment industry; it was better to get married and have children.
Emily smiled and didnât know how to explain it to Mrs. Kingston.
Stella knew what Emily was thinking but couldnât say anything to her. After all, this was between Emily and Ruben, so she couldnât interrupt.
âUncle, what do you think the three women will say when they are together?â Adrian asked as he poked Rubenâs arm and looked at him curiously.
âI donât know; I am not a woman,â Ruben said as he looked at Adrian as if he was looking at an idiot.
âYou look like a woman,â Adrian said in a low voice and looked at Ruben.
âHuh? What did you say?â Adrianâs voice was too low. Ruben only knew that Adrian was speaking, but he didnât hear what he was saying and asked, âI am fine. I didnât say anything!â
Adrian immediately shook his head and spoke. He was not stupid. If Ruben knew what he had said, he would be in trouble. âAs long as you didnât say anything, itâs fine.â Seeing Adrianâs expression, Ruben knew that he didnât say anything good.
âUncle, who do you think is better, Grandpa or Dad?â Adrian asked as he pointed to the two people who were playing chess and was very curious about who was better.
âI donât know. I donât know how to do it,â Ruben said as he looked at Mr. Kingston and RK, feeling bored.
âYou donât know anything,â Adrian said as he looked at Ruben with contempt. He got off the sofa and walked to RKâs side.
âHumphâ¦â Ruben looked at Adrian disdainfully and continued to watch TV.
Seeing that Adrian was coming over, Mr. Kingston touched Adrianâs head and asked him to watch from the side.
âGrandpa, who is better between you and Dad?â Adrian couldnât get the answer from Ruben, so he asked Grandpa. He wanted to know the answer.
Mr. Kingston and RK looked at each other, but no one answered Adrianâs question.
Looking at the awkward atmosphere, Adrian didnât know what to say. He suddenly felt that it was better to watch TV with Ruben.
âDo you know the answer?â Ruben asked as he looked at the stiff Adrian, rubbed his hair, and looked at him with a smile.
Adrian pouted and shook his head.
âNeither of them will admit that they are inferior. Itâs useless for you to ask. They always come to a draw and donât know who is the best. Only the two of them know the answer in their hearts, but they certainly wonât tell you,â Ruben said as he looked at Adrian with a knowing look and pinched his face, telling him not to be so entangled.
