Time passed quickly. Stella and the others were about to return home. Mrs. Kingston wanted them to stay a while longer, but RK had some important business to attend to at the company, so they couldn’t stay any longer.

Although there was still some time before Adrian started school, he also wanted to go back. It had been a long time since he had seen Seventeen and he missed him very much.

Finally, Mr. Kingston convinced Mrs. Kingston, telling her that they would soon return to the country to prepare for the wedding.

Stella was two months pregnant, and within a month her belly would begin to show. It was urgent that they get married as soon as possible. Although Emily could wait, Mrs. Kingston insisted that the wedding should take place as soon as possible, so there were no objections.

“Adrian, will you go?” Baby insisted, trying to drag Mrs. Brook to see Adrian off to the plane. He was very reluctant to part with Adrian, after all, this was the friend he knew best.

“Well, Darling and the others are having a wedding ceremony in a while. You can come along and we’ll get together at that time,” Adrian said, patting Baby on the shoulder. Although she was reluctant to leave him, she also wanted to stay with Stella and Seventeen.

Adrian nodded. Stella hadn’t expected Adrian to have such a good relationship with Baby. At first she thought it was just the children being able to play together, but she soon realized it was something deeper between them.

“Mom, Dad, come back. It’s cold outside.” Stella took Mrs. Kingston’s hand and looked at her with a warm smile. Since she knew that both she and Emily were pregnant, she began calling them Mom and Dad, dropping the titles of Uncle and Aunt.

“That’s right, Mom and Dad, come back early,” Emily added, with a smile, now completely accustomed to calling them that way. She found it odd at first, but soon realized that, being Reuben’s parents, they were also her own.

Mr. and Mrs. Kingston nodded with a wistful smile.

Mr. Kingston, though still keeping his serious face, felt the house fill with life when they were all together. If they returned now, the house would be empty and he could not get used to it.

It was time to check in for the flight, so they needed to board as soon as possible. After saying goodbye one by one, RK and the others made their way to the plane.

Mr. Kingston slipped his arm around Mrs. Kingston’s shoulder and gave her a comforting pat.

“If you want to go back, let’s go back,” Mr. Kingston said, though he never dared say it out loud.

“Yes, we must go back to our home. Otherwise, Stella and Emily won’t be able to take care of themselves. I need to be there for them,” Mrs. Kingston replied, understanding perfectly well what her husband meant, though she did not verbalize it.

As soon as Stella boarded the plane, she felt very sleepy. She leaned against RK’s shoulder and fell asleep almost immediately.

Meanwhile, Ruben and Emily were talking apart, discussing what they should name their child, considering both boy and girl names.

Adrian was feeling somewhat sad. Although he was sometimes annoyed to hear Baby talking nonstop, now that he didn’t hear her voice, he couldn’t get used to the quiet.

After more than ten hours of flying, the plane landed.

As they exited the airport, they saw Seventeen waiting for them.

“Uncle Seventeen!” When Adrian saw Seventeen, all drowsiness disappeared from his face and he ran towards him excitedly.

Seventeen stretched out his arms and lifted Adrian up, nodding his head towards RK and the others.

Stella looked at RK, confused, why didn’t she know Seventeen was coming to meet them?

“I guess it was little Rian who called him,” RK whispered in Stella’s ear, answering her question without her having to ask further.

At first, RK had also thought about calling Seventeen, but then thought he should be with Alicia, so as not to take up her time. However, Adrian called him and told him that he would be returning to the country. That’s when Seventeen offered to come pick them up, so RK didn’t call his secretary to send someone else.

On the way back, Adrian was talking nonstop.

RK called his parents to tell them they were now safely home.

While Adrian was talking to Seventeen, his phone rang. When he saw it, he discovered that it was Baby calling him. Then he remembered that he had promised to call him after he returned.

“Adrian, why didn’t you call me sooner, I asked you!” When Adrian answered the phone, Baby’s boisterous voice was heard on the other end.

“Er… I just got off the plane. I was just about to call you,” Adrian replied quietly.

Ruben looked at Adrian and smiled softly. He hadn’t expected Adrian to be so adept at handling these situations.

Seventeen also looked at Adrian, knowing she had a new friend, but she hadn’t expected their relationship to be so close.
