“Uncle Seventeen doesn’t like to talk,” Adrian explained as he handed a cake to Baby, then another to Seventeen. “I don’t really like the way Baby looks at you, but he’s having a hard time adjusting. Seventeen is a nice guy, he just doesn’t like to talk much.”

Baby nodded, but didn’t comment on it.

“By the way, little Rian, where did you get that watch? Last time I saw it, it looked familiar. I remembered it a couple of days ago,” Baby asked, not mentioning what her father had told her. She just looked at a picture without asking questions and then remembered something about the watch.

“Oh, I won’t tell you,” Adrian replied without looking up. He remembered that Seventeen had asked him not to tell anyone how he had gotten the watch, except RK.

Seventeen’s expression changed slightly. Although he did not remember what had happened before, he knew that such a watch was not a common thing. A child could not possess it unless he was not a common child.

“Humph, don’t mention it then,” Baby said, not wanting to delve into the subject. She didn’t want Adrian to think too much about the matter, knowing how special the watch was.

“How long will you be staying here?” Adrian asked Baby casually, though he felt nerves. He was very happy to see him, but also worried about the length of his stay.

“Let’s wait until your parents get married,” Baby replied without much thought.

He wasn’t planning to leave that early. If his parents came back, he would surely stay shamelessly. Going back to his daily training routine would be boring for him, so he’d rather stay with Adrian.

That night, the young Brook teachers wanted to take Baby to the hotel, but Stella asked them to stay. She told them that there were plenty of guest rooms and that it was safer to stay there rather than go out so late.

RK was sitting in his study when someone knocked on the door.

“How can I help you, young Master Brook?” RK narrowed his eyes, looked at Dominic and asked him, as he didn’t understand why he was getting the same feeling as Wayne. Although their personalities didn’t match, something about Dominic’s manner seemed similar to Wayne’s to him.

“I’m sorry to bother you at this hour, but I have a question,” Dominic said as he sat down on the couch near the window.

“Please go ahead,” RK replied, getting up and walking over to the couch, sitting down across from him.

“Do you know where the watch that Adrian has came from?” Dominic wasn’t direct, but he wanted to know more. He knew Baby and Adrian were close friends, so he wasted no time and asked.

RK’s expression didn’t change, but he didn’t expect that, in so few days, two people he met would be related to Adrian’s watch.

“Is there a problem with that watch?” RK asked, keeping his cool. He knew there was something behind the watch, but he preferred not to ask unnecessary questions.

“No, no problem,” Dominic replied, shaking his head. Actually, he just wanted to know who the original owner of the watch was.

“Do you know Wayne?” RK thought for a moment. If Dominic knew Wayne, things would be easier to understand.

“Do you know him?” Dominic asked in surprise, not expecting RK to mention Wayne.

“I don’t know him very well, but Damien knows him. He’s friends with Stella and my cousin,” RK explained, recognizing that, from Dominic’s reaction, Dominic did know Wayne.

“Damien, that funny guy…” Dominic’s expression became somewhat uncomfortable at hearing Damien’s name.

“I tried to keep outsiders from seeing the watch,” RK explained, aware of how important the watch was and how the situation had to be handled.

Dominic nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.

“It’s important, and I don’t want it to fall into the wrong hands,” RK added, making it clear that he wasn’t going to let just anyone have access to the watch.
