===================================

Swati, seeing so much love for herself in his eyes, thought to herself, "Don't love me so much, Shivaay. I'm scared that when I break your heart, how many pieces will you shatter into? And if you leave me after accepting me, how many pieces will I break into?"

At the same time, Shivaay was thinking about her, "Your eyes show love, Swati. I can feel it, but why do you run away from me? I don’t understand. What is it that makes you keep yourself away from me?"

Swati composed herself and angrily looked at Shivaay, saying, "What is this behavior, Shivaay?"

"Hey, didn’t you ask for help? I’m helping you. Now quickly take off your shoes, or else if anyone sees us like this, you'll have to answer."

Hearing this, Swati was surprised. He was the one behaving like this, and she'd have to answer for it? But she chose not to argue and quickly took off her shoes. Shivaay then set her back on the ground. Without saying anything, Swati walked ahead of Shivaay.

Shivaay smiled and followed her. Swati came, wiped the shoes with the corner of her dupatta, and placed them near Abhinav’s feet. Abhinav smiled and put on his shoes.

After some time of laughing, joking, and taking photos, Bharti said, "Shall we go now?" Hearing this, Swati and Shweta's faces fell.

Bharti said to Swati, "Beta, I'm still telling you, come with us. Really, it won’t be any problem for us. In fact, we would be happy. Both Shweta and Shwet will also be very happy."

Swati smiled and lovingly declined, saying, "Thank you so much, Aunty, for thinking about me. But trust me, I’m fine. And you’ll take care of these two well. Shweta doesn’t have too many tantrums, Chiku throws a little drama, but he’s a sweet child. And as for me, I’m not leaving Mumbai. I’ll keep meeting you people, so don’t worry."

As she spoke, tears slowly welled up in her eyes. Shweta hugged her and started crying. She said while crying, "A sister like you is a blessing, Swati. You have no idea what you've done for me. You loved my child like a mother, raised him, nurtured him. You did so much for me. If you weren’t there, I wouldn’t have been able to hold myself together, let alone give myself a chance. Thank you so much."

Swati couldn’t hold back either. She tightly hugged Shweta. Tears streamed down her face too. Stroking Shweta’s head, she said, "Always remember one thing—your sister will always be with you. Whenever, wherever, no matter what time, if you feel like ‘I wish Swati was here,’ just call me. I swear, I’ll leave everything and come."

She then let go of Shweta, wiped her tears, and with a smile, said, "And now, why are you crying? You’re crying, and now you’re making me cry too. Hey, you’re going to your own house now. Your dream has come true; your love has returned to you. Your love has reached its destination, so now be happy. Always keep smiling."

Then she folded her hands in front of Bharti, Abhinav, Raghav, and Bharti’s father and said, "If our parents were here, they would have made this request to you, but since they’re not, I’m doing it. Please take care of my sister. She’s a bit mad, very innocent. If someone says something to her, she quietly listens, without saying a word back. That’s why I always had to fight for her. But now I won’t be there all the time, so please, take care of her. And as for Chiku, he’s a very sensible child. He has never thrown a tantrum for anything."

Bharti hugged Swati and said, "Beta, you don’t need to say all this. I told you, right? I’m taking my daughter, and you are my daughter too. What you said to Shweta, I’m saying to you—whenever you feel like you need a family, come to us. If you ever need anything, just make one call. We’ll come to you ourselves."

Shweta folded her hands in front of Alok, Rishabh, Vikram, Hardik, Praveen, Rohit, Shivaay, Shivika, and Anokhi and said, "Thank you so much. It’s because of you all that I’ve been given this second life, which I’m living with respect and dignity."

"Shweta Didi, why are you saying this? Don’t say things like this. We haven’t done anything, and don’t cry either. And don’t keep saying thank you. Didn’t I tell you that you’ve done a lot for me too? Then I’ll start thanking you too. And why are you crying? See, because of you, Swati Didi and Shwet are also crying. Stop crying, and quickly go home. Mom and Chachi ji said that even after the wedding, there are a lot of rituals to enjoy. If you keep crying, you’ll get tired, and how will you enjoy the rituals? So stop crying."

Saying this, Anokhi wiped Shweta’s tears, and everyone smiled. Swati wiped her own tears and said to everyone, "Now you all should go. Anokhi is right; there are many rituals left to do at home."

Swati went to Shwet, held both his hands, kissed them, and said, "Chiku, just like you’ve been my sensible child until now, stay exactly the same. Take care of Maa, love everyone, and take care of yourself too, okay?"

Shwet nodded and said with a heavy voice, "You’ll keep coming to see me, right? You won’t forget me, right? You won’t leave me, right?"

Hearing this, everyone looked at Swati and Shwet. Tears welled up in Swati’s eyes again. It was as if her heart was being torn apart. She controlled herself, lightly hit Shwet on the head, and said with a smile, "Do I look like Aamir Khan from 'Ghajini,' who forgets everything after a while? And anyway, you’re not something to forget. I’ll keep coming to see you, meet you, and pull your ears too, got it?"

Shwet smiled too. Shivaay was watching Swati and Shwet very closely. He could understand their feelings very well.

He had only spent a little time with Shwet, so it hurt him to be apart from him, and Swati is like a mother to him. Yes, she didn’t give birth to him, but she fulfilled every responsibility of a mother.

Then everyone came out of the temple and walked toward their cars. Swati stood a little away, watching everyone leave. Shivaay stood next to her. He looked at her and asked, "Aren’t you going? Why are you standing here?"

Shivaay said, "I’m standing here so that if my future wife breaks down, So I won't let her break."

Hearing Shivaay’s words, Swati stared at him for a moment.

She then looked away and kept watching Shweta and Shwet leave. Shwet kept turning back to look at Swati. He reached the car, stopped, and turned around again to look at her.

Swati was watching him. Her fists were clenched tightly, as if she was giving herself strength. Just then, Shwet pulled his hands away from Abhinav and Shweta and ran toward Swati. Seeing him approach, Swati knelt down.

Shwet hugged her tightly. Everyone’s attention was on them. Shivaay watched them. Shwet softly said, "I love you, Mumma."

Once again, the word ‘Mumma’ came from Shwet’s mouth for Swati, and hearing it, Swati’s grip on him tightened.

Shwet always did this. Whenever he got very emotional about Swati, he always called her Mumma. Whenever he fell sick, he would also call her ‘Mumma,’ and Swati would always correct him, ' Chiku, I’m not Mumma, I’m Maasi Maa '

because she didn’t want Shwet to think of her as his mother but to call Shweta Maa. The title of ‘Mother’ should belong to Shweta. And Swati did the same this time too.

She gently wiped Shwet’s tears, kissed his forehead, and said, "I’m not Mumma, Chiku. I’m Maasi Maa, and this is the last time you’re calling me Mumma. After today, never call me that. Your mother is Shweta, okay?"

She kissed Shwet’s cheeks and picked him up, carrying him over to Shweta. No one else had heard their conversation as everyone was standing far away, but Shivaay had overheard. His heart ached, seeing them like this.

Swati brought Shwet to Shweta, who looked at her. Shweta tried to say something, but Swati said, "He’s just being emotional, that’s why he ran back to me. Don’t worry, he’ll be fine in a while." Saying this, she seated Shwet in the car and once again kissed his forehead, then stepped back.

She helped Shweta into the car and said, "Now go forward in your new life without any worries. All the best. I’ll come to meet you soon. After all, I’m the one who’ll come for the ‘Pag Phera’ ceremony, right?"

Swati smiled while speaking. After a while, all the cars left from there, and Swati kept watching them go.

After they left, the tears that were held back in her eyes started to fall freely. As soon as she turned around, Shivaay was standing behind her. Shivaay opened his arms and said to her, "At least give me the right to offer you my shoulder to cry on."

Swati looked at him with tearful eyes and said to herself, "I will never do anything that gives you even a little bit of hope, Shivaay." Then she wiped her own tears and said to Shivaay, "I don't need anyone. I am Swati Tiwari. I can take care of myself, I can provide for myself, I can protect myself, and I can give myself a happy and peaceful life."

Then she signaled to a passing auto, stopped it, and left in it.

Shivaay watched her leaving in the auto and said to himself, "Swati Tiwari, you are very stubborn, but my stubbornness is no less. For now, it’s okay, but in the future, I will be the one to take care of you. I will bring a smile to your lips, I will wipe away your tears, and I will give you a happy and peaceful life. This is my promise to myself and that time will come soon."

Abhinav's home,

Bharati and Ruhi together performed Shweta's Griha Pravesh (home entry ritual). Then Bharati conducted a few rituals.

Ruhi brought a big plate in front of everyone. The plate was filled with milk and rose petals. She said, "Come on, Bhai, let's do the ring ceremony now. Remember, whoever finds the ring will rule the marriage. And Bhabhi, I'm on your side, you have to win, okay?"

"Yes, and I'm also on my daughter-in-law's side," Bharati said while sitting next to Shweta. Shweta smiled. Abhinav made a face and said, "Oh, you both went to Shweta's side!"

At that moment, Bharati's father said, "So what, young man? We're here, aren't we? We both are on your side," saying this, Bharati's father came and sat next to Abhinav. Raghav also joined him. Then Shwet said, "But whose side should I take?"

Hearing Shwet, everyone looked at him. He was the only one left and hadn't joined any side, while both teams were full.

Ruhi laughed and handed the ring to Shwet, saying, "Shwet, do one thing. You put the ring in the bowl."

Hearing Ruhi, Shwet made a face but then smiled. He said, "Okay, I’ll count to 1, 2, 3, and then drop the ring. After that, both of you can start searching for it, okay?"

Everyone nodded in agreement. He said, "1, 2, 3," and dropped the ring while stirring the milk.

When Shwet removed his hand, Shweta and Abhinav put their hands into the bowl to search for the ring. On the first try, Abhinav found the ring, making Bharati’s father and Raghav happy, and Shwet clapped along with them.

Ruhi said, "Oh, so you're on Papa's side?"

"No, I'm on both sides. When Maa wins, I'll clap for her too."

Everyone burst into laughter.

Shwet put the ring in again, and this time Shweta found it, making Bharati and Ruhi happy.

Ruhi said, "Now it's 1-1. This time, whoever finds the ring will rule."

Shwet dropped the ring a third time, and again, Abhinav found it. Seeing this, everyone smiled.

Ruhi said, "Wow, Bhai, you won the ring!"

At that moment, Abhinav held Shweta's hand and, while placing the ring on her finger, said, "My command will be that Shweta should place all her commands before me, and I shall obey every one of them."

Everyone smiled at this.

It was quite late, so Bharati said to Abhinav and Shweta, "It's very late, you both should go rest now. Ruhi escorted Shweta to the room."

"Yes, Maa," Ruhi said, leading Shweta towards Abhinav's room.

When Shweta entered the room, she saw it had been decorated just like it would be for a wedding night.

Seeing this, her grip on her dupatta tightened.

Ruhi noticed Shweta's nervousness. She held her hand, guided her to sit on the sofa, and sat in front of her.

Ruhi said to Shweta, "Bhabhi, think of me as your sister. I understand, being a woman, how nervous you must be feeling right now. But can I tell you something, Bhabhi?"

Shweta looked at her and slowly nodded her head.

Holding her hand, Ruhi said, "Bhabhi, I'm a woman too. I know that seeing all this must have made you anxious. The old memories, the cruelty of people, must be coming back to you. But Bhabhi, to forget old memories, new feelings are needed. I don’t know if what I’m saying is right or wrong, but it takes a lot of courage to do what I’m about to suggest. But if you create a new feeling, if you accept Bhai, then instead of old memories, you’ll remember the moments spent with Bhai. Trust Bhai. He’ll replace your painful memories with moments of love. I won’t say much more, but if you can’t do it, then don’t do it at all; otherwise, it will feel forced. Okay? All the best!" Ruhi said, leaving the room.

Shweta sat there, thinking about Ruhi’s words. Cold sweat formed on her forehead, and her hands trembled. The past kept replaying in her mind.

Then, she remembered the moment when she and Abhinav had first come together.

She stood near the window, lost in thought.

She nervously thought, "Back then, I trusted Abhinav so much that I gave myself to him without any questions. Can I still trust him today? Can I move forward? But what if Abhinav feels regret when he sees the scars on my body?"

"Then you can kill me," Abhinav’s voice came from behind.

Shweta turned around and saw Abhinav standing right behind her.

Abhinav walked up to her, turned her back towards the window again, and embraced her from behind, resting his head on her shoulder.

"If you ever feel that I regret it, then you can kill me, Shweta. Because that won't be your Abhinav, it will be someone else. Your Abhinav only loves you, not your body. If you don't want to move forward, don't. If you want to keep your distance, keep it. I just need your companionship. If you're afraid of my touch, I won't touch you. But I promise you one thing: I will never break your trust, Shweta, never. After so many struggles, you’ve come back into my life after all these years. I can’t, and I won’t, lose you again at any cost."

Shweta turned to face him and said, "Ruhi said you can erase my pain. You can replace my painful memories with moments of love. But I don’t know how to find the courage to move forward."

"You don't need courage; just trust me. I’ll give you the courage," Abhinav said, holding her face gently in both hands.

Shweta looked at him with tear-filled eyes.

She softly said, "I trust you. I give you the chance. Please take me away from these painful memories, Abhinav, please."

Hearing this, tears filled Abhinav's eyes too.

He kiss her forehead and then slowly placed his lips on hers. The moment it happened, Shweta clenched her eyes tightly and gripped her fists.

Old memories started to swirl in her mind, and her entire body began trembling. Seeing her like this, Abhinav felt immense pain, but he didn’t stop.

He picked her up in his arms and laid her on the bed. He tried to remove her dupatta, but Shweta grabbed his hand, stopping him, and shook her head in refusal.

Abhinav kissed her forehead and said, "Shweta, it’s my right to see your pain, and it’s my right to heal it. Let me claim this right. Trust me, seeing them will only bring me pain, not regret. Please, Shweta."

Shweta removed her hand but said to Abhinav, "Abhinav, what if you start feeling regret? Stop yourself."

Abhinav said, "No, I won’t stop myself, and I won’t let you stop either. You've taken a big step with a lot of courage, Shweta. You’ve given me a chance, and now it’s my responsibility to bring only happy moments into your life."

Hearing this, Shweta closed her eyes. Abhinav removed her dupatta and undressed her.

Her body still bore the marks of teeth and nails. Though they had healed, they were proof of all that Shweta had endured.

Seeing this, Abhinav’s eyes filled completely with tears, and his throat choked up. It felt as if someone had placed a shard of glass in his throat.

He clenched his eyes tightly and gripped the bed sheet with his fists.

Meanwhile, Shweta’s body trembled uncontrollably, and her skin turned completely red.

Abhinav moved closer to her. Suddenly feeling his warm breath on her body, Shweta screamed, "No, no! Don’t come near me! Don’t touch me! Stay away from me!"

Seeing her shaking and terrified, Abhinav grabbed both of her hands tightly and, in a loud voice, said, "Shweta! Shweta! Open your eyes! Look at me, it’s me, Abhinav, your Abhinav. Open your eyes Shweta!"
