CHAPTER 151
CEO
Upon seeing him remain silent, Hunter stood up and approached him, remarking, âYour wife was chosen by your grandfather, and sheâs not bad at all. Sheâs obedient and sensible, and she doesnât mind your extramarital affairs. What is there to be unhappy about?â
Nash remained silent for a moment before responding, âIndeed, having an obedient and sensible wife is a good choice.â
âWell, well, I see your attention is on her now. Youâre not developing feelings for her, are you?â Hunter sensed that something was off about Nash. Even if he mistreated her, he shouldnât be unhappy himself. However, as they watched her from upstairs, she seemed to get along well with her male colleagues. Hunter smiled and commented, âIt seems like your wife is quite popular. She gets along with everyone. Didnât you mention the possibility of divorcing her in the future? After the divorce, sheâll probably have many suitors!â
Hunterâs statement caused Nashâs brows to furrow even deeper. It was true that Nina had no trouble getting along with others and was quite popular.
Nashâs tone grew colder as he responded, âYou claimed she would make a good wife, so she should remain in that position.â
Nina had finished distributing all the water and was now drenched in sweat.
They walked together in the direction of the company.
âNina, I never expected this. You, a girl, are incredibly strong. You can keep up with us men!â They had rarely interacted with Nina and didnât fully understand her. Initially, they had thought she was aloof, delicate, and weaker than them.
They had seen her as nothing more than a bimbo even when she was with them.
But as they got to know her better, they realized she was approachable and quickly integrated with them.
âWell, you guys did all the heavy tasks. I was just distributing water, thatâs all,â Nina said with a smile.
âWeâve changed our opinion. Turns out Nina can smile too. Not such an unapproachable figure after all!â a male colleague joked.
Nina didnât expect others seeing her that way and replied, âThereâs nothing unapproachable about me. You just havenât interacted with me much. If we get the chance to work together in the future, youâll see. Iâm really not that intimidating.â
Her words lightened the mood, and everyone laughed.
After sweating it out, they went back

to their respective areas to rest. Nina was the only one left in the office, heading towards the upper
floors.
âNina, weâre leaving first. Take care,â they bid farewell.
âOkay, goodbye!â she smiled as she said goodbye to them, preparing to take the elevator.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed her arm Nina hadnât reacted yet and was startled as she was pulled into the dark stairwell. A body pressed against hers.
âUmâ¦â she gasped for breath her mouth suddenly covered, forcefully stealing what little breath she had left. Grabbing onto the manâs sleeve and smelling a familiar scent, she stopped struggling. Her eyes filled with shock.
It felt like an eternity before the man finally stopped kissing her.
Nina was once again drenched in sweat, causing her shirt to cling to her body and reveal her figure.
The manâs eyes were filled with intense anger, dark and piercing.
In the poorly lit stairwell, Nash
seized Ninaâs face and sneered, âYou claimed to have very few male friends? It seems youâre quite skilled in making friends.â
Unlike with other men, Nina rarely smiled at him, which made him feel uneasy.
In response, Nina asked, âAre you expecting me to act coldly towards my colleagues?â
Nash glanced at her soaked shirt, which clearly exposed her bra, and once again narrowed his dangerous eyes. âDid they all see this?â
It was not until Nashâs gaze shifted to her shirt that Nina understood, causing her to instinctively cover her chest with her hands.
