CHAPTER 152
CEO
âNo,â she said.
She was wearing a coat at the time, so nothing could be seen underneath. She had just considered taking it off when he pulled her over.
âCovering it now might be a little too late, isnât it?â Nash sneered, his eyes filled with intense possessiveness, his fingers instinctively gripping her chest.
Nina looked into his eyes, sensing the aggression of a man towards a woman. It was the first time she had experienced it. She felt danger and wanted to escape, but Nash wouldnât allow it, trapping her in his
corner.
âNina, is this what you call the right to pursue happiness?â Nash pressed his body against hers, mocking. âYou still have plenty of targets, donât you? Youâll find another man to marry right after divorcing me.â Nina, feeling his hand probing deeper, grew frightened and involuntarily curled her body. âI donât think like that, Nash. Let go first. We can talk, but we might be discovered!â
Seeing her flushed face and shapely figure beneath the soaked shirt, and thinking about all the men from just moments ago, Nash felt his anger escalating. He released her, and Nina sank on the ground. Nash impatiently loosened his tie, his eyes filled with desire as he looked at the disheveled Nina. âDonât you want to avoid getting caught? Shouldnât you satisfy my desires youâve awakened first?â Nina looked up, suddenly aware of his trousers, which caused her cheeks to instantly blush. But if she didnât comply, he wouldnât let her off the hook.
Her lashes trembled, and she reluctantly raised her handâ¦
Half an hour later, Nina hurriedly entered the bathroom, washing her face and rinsing her mouth.
As she looked at herself in the mirror â with messy hair, reddened lips, and watery eyes â she couldnât help but wonder why Nash had behaved so strangely today.
But he could be terrifying like this too. She didnât even have the space to resist.
It took Nina some time to calm down. She tidied her hair, making herself look almost the same as usual.
She just had to endure a little longer.
After the divorce, they would both find relief.
Linda left the hospital and hailed a cab to go to York Corporation. Nash hadnât visited her since he sent her to the hospital.
After discovering that the man she encountered that night wasnât Nash, she felt completely devastated and became even more determined to tie him to the child. As long as heâ remained unaware, this child would be his.
As she exited the car, she accidentally bumped into two people.
âSorry,â the other person apologized first.
.ne
Just as the person who was about to leave suddenly remembered something, they grabbed Lindazand asked, âExcuse me, do you know how to get to York Corporation?â
Linda looked at the building ahead. âItâs right there.â
âThanks!â The person quickly resumed walking forward.
âMom, maybe we shouldnât go. What if her husband sees you? Wouldnât that be embarrassing?â Sue expressed her concern.
Lily replied, âWe have to go. If we
donât, how will our family get the money? Heâs your cousinâs husband, the CEO of York Corporation. Just because your cousin lacks
conscience doesnât mean your cousin-in-law does!â
This conversation left Linda feeling a bit confused.
Cousin-in-law? CEO of York Corporation?
Wasnât that Nash?
How did he become someone elseâs cousin-in-law?
She hurried to catch up and asked, âExcuse me, are you referring to the CEO of York Corporation, Nash York?â
Lily turned back, âYes, yes, do you know him too?â
Lindaâs face stiffened. âHow is that possible?â
She then looked at Sue, grabbed her hand, and asked urgently, âYou said Nash is your cousinâs husband. Who is your cousin?â
Sue winced as Linda squeezed her hand, quickly replying, âMy cousin is Nina.â
