Chapter 333
The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)
Callum doubled over with laughter, but it only served to fuel Lexiâs anger. âHow outrageous! How can anyone be this stupid? Itâs one thing to deny it, but to lie too, that's just despicable!"
"No, no, darling," Callum chuckled, producing a phone from his pocket. "This is the phone that sent the text. If you don't believe me, just give it a call."
Lexi shot Callum a glance, picked up her phone, and dialed the number from the text. Immediately, the phone in Callum's hand began to ring.
"What is going on?" Lexi asked, utterly befuddled.
Callum let out a mischievous chuckle. "My dear wife, you've been so busy looking after the baby lately, that you've completely forgotten about me.
That's not fair at all! I sent that enticing text to myself just to get your attention. I wanted to see where I stood in your heart. Now I see, you can get jealous, too. It seems I still occupy some place in your heart."
Lexi's face turned a shade of crimson. She hadn't expected Callum to be this petty. He really was out of his mind.
Continuing with his charade, Callum said, "Darling, I am the Wildcat, waiting to spend a passionate midnight with you. Would you care to join me in a bit of 'Afternoon Delightâ first?"
Lexi was taken aback. Not only was Callum shameless, but he also had the cheek to say such things in broad daylight, completely unashamed!
She lowered her gaze, her face flushed, and murmured, "Who wants to have an 'Afternoon Delight' with you? Keep dreaming!"
Callum wrapped his arm around Lexi's waist and said with a passionate look in his eyes, "But I've been longing for you so much, darling. Won't you indulge me a little?"
"Stop it!"
Lexi playfully scolded Callum. Her shyness appeared to him as an irresistible invitation. He took her into his arms and planted a longing kiss on her lips.
The scenery outside the window was just perfect, and the warm breeze wafting in through the open window carried an intoxicating fragrance. Just as they were about to enjoy their long-awaited passion, the baby in the crib let out a loud cry.
Lexi immediately pushed Callum away. "The baby's awake. Get up!"
Reluctantly releasing Lexi, Callum grumbled, "This little rascal did this on purpose, I swear. Wait till he grows up, I'm going to spank him!" He awkwardly adjusted his trousers and joined Lexi in checking on the baby.
As Lexi began to nurse the baby, Callum couldn't help but stare at the sight before him. He swallowed hard, his eyes glued to the baby nursing contently.
"Darling..." he moved closer to her, his hand reaching out to touch Lexi's other breast. "I want some too..."
Lexi's face turned beet red. "Back off!"
However, like a stubborn piece of bubblegum, Callum clung to Lexi, and to her surprise, he did manage to have a taste.
Lexi wished she could disappear into the ground, but she heard Callum smacking his lips. "So sweet, no wonder the little fella stops crying as soon as he starts feeding!"

The azure sky was as clear as crystal. A small private plane was steadily cutting through the fluffy clouds, heading towards Rome.
Inside the cabin, Magnus was filled with anticipation for his trip to Rome. In no time, he would be at the company known for Natalia's unique designs.
For the success of this trip, James had put all other matters aside to play the role of Magnus' bodyguard, accompanying him to Stitches Fashion in Rome.
"Magnus, we'll be in Rome in less than half an hour." James raised his glass in a toast. "Cheers to a successful meeting with Natalia!"
Magnus seemed in good spirits, raising his glass in response. "Of course, I'll be seeing my wife soon. I'm confident that this designer is my Nat. I feel a bit nervous, like a greenhorn."
His statement elicited laughter from James. "Ha, Magnus, if Natalia knew how nervous you are now, she'd definitely laugh at you." It had been long since he'd seen Magnus laugh this freely.
"Then let her laugh," Magnus said tenderly, his gaze shifting to the window. Looking at the clouds floating outside, he seemed to see Natalia's intoxicating face.
James, seeing Magnus lost in thought, decided not to interrupt. He turned and headed towards the cockpit to urge the pilots to speed up. After all, Magnus was eager to arrive.
The scene at Stitches Fashion, meanwhile, was chaotic. The company's owner, a man named William, was in his fifties, plump and rosy-cheeked, always sporting a jovial smile.

Riding on the success of his business, William had registered a clothing company. However, once the company was in full swing, the costs skyrocketed. Despite the popularity of his clothes, the market was a different ballgame, and he found himself struggling.
In no time, William's first fortune was depleted. His clothes, with their outdated styles, failed to attract younger customers. The company was on the brink of bankruptcy.
At this critical juncture, Natalia joined the company. Her arrival rejuvenated the company with her trendy women's fashion designs, each one becoming a bestseller, with demand often outstripping supply.
Natalia had saved the company from near bankruptcy. William was immensely grateful to Natalia, almost treating her like a goddess.
William was surprised when Natalia declined his offer of a portion of the company's shares, stating that it was her duty as a designer. Then, Natalia laid out her terms, she would handle the companyâs design drafts each month for a standard in-house designerâs salary. Her only stipulation was that her identity had to remain a secret.
This request from Natalia struck William as rather odd. These days, designers were usually after fame or profit. Who'd hide away, afraid of their work being seen by others?
