Chapter 363

The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Natalia waved her hands with a definitive swiftness. "No way, I just don't have the experience. I'm not cut out for starting a company."

"Why not?" Hector frowned, somewhat displeased. "Natalia, never underestimate yourself. Trust me, you are a very talented designer. That firm, Stitches Fashion, was blind to let you go. Now that you're gone, they've been knocked back to square one by the competition."

Hearing Hector mention Stitches Fashion caused a ripple in Natalia's heart. Back then, when William had fired her because of Diana, Natalia hadn't taken it personally; after all, she was just another replaceable employee. And whatever slump Stitches Fashion faced afterward, well, that had nothing to do with her.

"Hector, I know you mean well, but I really don't have the confidence," Natalia pushed back again.

"Don't you trust my judgment?" Hector's expression darkened. "Starting tomorrow, we're officially opening our own company. We'll take what you excel at—a vintage style with a modern twist. Believe me, Natalia, I really do know what I'm talking about."

Natalia's heart began to race at Hector's words. As a designer, there was nothing she wanted more than to have her work accepted and loved by the public.

If her designs, with a vintage flair, could become a hit, just the thought was enough to make her giddy with delight.

After a moment's hesitation, Natalia mustered her courage and nodded. "Alright, but..."

"No buts, Natalia. We have to give it our all. If we're doing this, we're going to do it right!" Hector encouraged her with a steady gaze.

Taking a deep breath, the hesitation in Natalia's eyes transformed into resolve. "Okay! I'll give it everything I've got!"

Hector applauded her spirit and raised his glass in a toast. "That's the spirit! To our brilliant designer Natalia, cheers!"

"Cheers!"

Their glasses clinked, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

After nearly a month of preparation by Hector and Natalia, their fashion company was officially launched as NH International, its flagship brand.

The name NH International came about after Hector consulted Natalia—it was a blend of their initials, a symbol of their partnership.

Natalia was so busy with the new brand that she no longer had time to dwell on Magnus. Her days were consumed with designing new clothing lines, and pouring her heart and soul into her work. Sometimes, in the quiet of the night, fleeting thoughts of Magnus would cross her mind, but those feelings quickly dissipated.

Regardless of her longing, she knew she couldn't go back to him because of the vow she'd once made. Without her return, whoever stood by Magnus' side didn't really make a difference to her.

Natalia stopped keeping tabs on Andersen Corporation, and even when she stumbled across news about it online, she'd promptly close the browser.

After years of drifting aimlessly, she finally had a new goal and direction. She needed to dedicate herself fully to start anew.

Lately, Hector was just as busy, always going out early and back late, leaving him little time to spend with Natalia.

Still, he took care of her and prepared her meals, insisting on cooking for her when possible. Sometimes, he left prepared dishes in the fridge with heartfelt notes stuck to the door when he couldn't.

Natalia was often too engrossed in work to remember to eat. She would only search the fridge when hunger became unbearable. The fridge was adorned with colorful cartoon stickers, each bearing a thoughtful message from Hector.

[Pork ribs on the second shelf, heat for five minutes in the microwave—don't forget to shake the seasoning packet first.]

[It's hot out, my beautiful Natalia, so pair up with some kiwi juice—refreshing and nutritious. Try not to drink it all in one go!]

[I've prepped some fruits and veggies in the crisper. Just toss them with some dressing for a quick salad. The smoothies are on the second shelf of the fridge door.]

[The damp weather calls for a warm dish. I've prepared chicken soup to chase away the chill. When you heat it, remember to open the steam vent.]

Reading the notes, Natalia's heart softened. She felt blessed—why had life brought her this caring, sunny boy who looked after her so selflessly?

Tears welled up as she pondered his devotion, which spoke louder than any words ever could.

He had always been by her side, taking care of her without expecting anything in return. Since she woke up, Hector had never mentioned her accepting him again. His careful dedication, his burning heart, was tens of times stronger than any verbal confession!

Hector, why must you be so good to me? How can I ever repay your kindness?

Time flew in a blur of busyness, and before she knew it, months had passed since they'd launched their company.

Thanks to Natalia's hard work, she had finally crafted designs with a fresh, sweet style—chic, with simple lines that struck the perfect balance of natural elegance. Although the garments hadn't been produced yet, she was confident in her creations. To bring Natalia's designs to life, Hector had hired a top-notch tailoring team to start making the clothes that bore her passion and creativity.

Although she had designed many pieces before, this was the first time she had been involved in the process from start to finish.

Natalia stood quietly outside the studio, her gaze intensely following the production of the garments from start to finish. She watched meticulously as the patterns were drafted, the fabric cut, and the pieces sewn together, right up until the final garments were assembled. She didn’t miss a single step.

When the first pieces of NH International’s new line were finally complete, a round of hearty applause erupted from the workshop. The garments were a triumph of understated elegance with a touch of vibrant flair, perfectly balanced. It was sure to spark a shopping frenzy once it hit the market.

Basking in the praise from her colleagues, Natalia couldn't help but feel a surge of joy. All those long days and nights of hard work were finally paying off. She turned to Hector, who was standing by her side, and said with heartfelt gratitude, "Hector, I really owe you one. Without your encouragement, I doubt I would have ever earned this applause so effortlessly."

Hector's eyes twinkled like stars in the night sky, filled with an affectionate smile. "Silly girl, this applause is the least you deserve for your hard work.

Never underestimate your talent. Remember, if you're willing, the whole world's applause is waiting just for you."
