Chapter 32: I will make it right
One Night With The Billionaire
Chase Hudson stood before Richard and said âIâm sorry about what Jace did. He didnât mean to put Arianna through this phase of her lifeâ¦âChase pleaded.
âWhy restraining her from being with her son or coming anywhere close to him? If he is Eliâs father, is he also his mother? Why would he take Arianaâs right away from her, because heâs wealthy?â Richard snapped at him.
âPlease donât talk like that, Richard. I will make it right, Richard, I will make it good. I promise youâ Chase Hudson pleaded.
When Richard returned, he examined Arianna and said she was recovering fast. She might be awake before dawn. Genesis was glad with the news of it and she thanked Richard for his help.
âCome to my lounge for a few hours and then you will come back to check on herâ Richard insisted and Genesis wanted to refuse again when Richard said âYouâll come along, donât say noâ
Jace arrived home with his son. Eli was unusually quiet. The boy placed his head on his fatherâs torso and slept off. Jace couldnât help but feel remorseful.
He only wanted her to give him a little space. Sheâs too furious and behaves irrational because of the fact that he took Eli away from her. He is a Trillionaire, on his path to become a Zillionaire. He has all that money can buy.
How can his son live in a ghetto? He wants to take Eli and give him a better life and a secured future. If he didnât do it that way, Arianna Jason would not understand what heâs pursuing.
He didnât mean to keep her son away from her. Sheâs gone depressed and contemplated suicide? He regretted his actions. He would ask her to forgive him and give her the vacant position in the holding.
When he got home, his bodyguard took Eli from him and went into the mansion. Eliâs nanny Carried him into his room. He walked quietly upstairs and sank into the sofa.
He took his phone and called Chase. Soon the latter answered his phone âJaceâ Chase said and went quiet.
âHow is Arianna Jason?â He asked. His voice was like a whisper. Chase could perceive that he was unhappy. He should, after what heâs done to Arianna.
âWhat do you care about Jace? When Clara died, did she take your heart with her to the grave? Why do you hate Arianna so much, from the moment you knew she was the woman that night, you have only caused her pain.
You accused her wrongly, abused her sexually and now, went the extreme when you got a restraining order against her. How can you prevent a woman from her son, how can you?
She is Eliâs mother. Even when she doesnât know who you are and you havenât known that you have a son, she raised Eli as a single mom. Her entire life revolves around the boy.
How can you do that, how can you push her to the point where she couldnât hold on, when she decided to take her life. Why Jace?
I know you Jace. We grew up together and your heart is filled with kindness. What happened to you, Jace? Is it Clara, she turned you into this cold hearted man you are now?
For Eliâs sake, let Arianna live in peace. Stop it, Jace. Because from this moment, I wonât let you hurt a single hair on her head. Richard would have dragged you in the mire.
He might be working in the Hudsonâs hospital but heâs a son of a prominent Personality. So, let this be the last time you hurt that womanâ¦.â Chase Hudson bellowed.
âYou think I am happy that such a thing happened to my sonâs mother? You think I really meant to hurt Arianna that much? You should know me better than anyone elseâ Jace Hudson replied and hung up.
He placed his phone down and glanced at the picture of Clara hung on the wall. Sheâs dead but seemed to him as if she merely travelled and would be back some day.
Emily Jason reprimanded her husband. âWhere is that lousy daughter of yours? This house is all that we have left. If Arianna doesnât agree to marry the eldest master of the Keyamo family, what would happen to us?â
âYou should think about that when you go to gamble. You have to calm down while I persuade Arianna to marry that rascalâ Ned Jason snapped at his wife.
âYou shouldnât gamble with the life and happiness of your only daughter for the sake of some persons born by mistakeâ Emily Jason retorted.
âNo matter what happens, Arianna will remain as my daughter, thatâs the Promise I made to her mom, to give her my name and accept her as my daughterâ Ned frowned.
