The older people understood. Adrian Delmark just smiled. She probably didn’t get a proper sleep because Richard would be asking her for it. The looks on Genesis’ face showed she was exhausted.

“Forget him, Genesis. You are always welcome to visit me and the senator. He will become your father soon, right?” Jane asked, smiling at Genesis.

“Hopefully, Richard decides to make it happen,” Genesis said. Richard took her hand and said “As soon as dad’s dream comes through, we’ll get married”

“You have my support, both of you. Your father Senator Delmark will be contesting for a political position. Once it’s all over, you both would tie the knot ” Jane Delmark assured.
