He left. When Arianna stepped out, twenty minutes later, she was dazed when she saw that the car Jace bought for her was a Lamborghini.
This car was too expensive for her. She walked around it and was all smiles. Jace bought her a brand new Lamborghini? She opened the driverâs door and peeped in.

Arianna wanted to say no but remembering that Jace would be upset with her again, she said okay. The chauffeur came over and she was dazed when she realised that the chauffeur was none other than Jerome, one of the bodyguards.
She nodded and slid into the passengerâs seat. He drove her to the company and she got in. The security guards didnât recognise her at first.
But after the car was parked in the parking lot and she stepped out, one of the security guards squinted his eyes, isnât this woman Miss Jason?
âExcuse me, are you Miss Jason?â He asked and Arianna immediately recognised where he was heading with his question.
âThatâs right,â Arianna replied. Even the way she looked, walked and talked was entirely different from the way it used to be.
âIâm sorry, you cannot go in â the security declared. He came over and stood, âweâre doing our job and we have an order from the CEO not to let you in. Iâm sorry you have have to leaveâ
Arianna felt embarrassed. She looked around and saw a few of the employees staring at her strangely. She returned her gaze to the security guard that talked to her directly.
âCan you place a call across to President Chase Hudson if I should be allowed in?â Arianna requested but the securities debunked immediately.
âIt doesnât work that way maâam. If he really wanted you in, he would have called and informed us ahead of time. But now, we canât call him. Please leave, our jobs are at stakeâ the security guards ordered.
Jerome saw and heard the security guards and he went to the sidelines to call âis she with you?â Jace asked immediately and he answered the phone.
âYes, boss. But the security guards wonât let her in. Maâam is being embarrassedâ he said and Jace said okay and hung up.
Arianna had returned to the car and slid in. She expected Jace to have handled it before she arrived. She expected Jerome to start the car when he said âThe boss has been notifiedâ
She nodded.
Jace immediately called the security stand and ordered them to let Miss Jason in. If she leaves, they will lose their jobs. Hearing what the CEO said, the men were bewildered.
Sometimes ago, he told them not to let her in. Otherwise they will feel his wrath. But now, he said she mustnât leave, otherwise they will lose their job.
They came over to where the car was parked and said âWe apologise maâam for our rudeness and disrespect towards you. Please you can go in nowâ they bowed slightly.
âItâs alright, youâre simply following ordersâ Arianna declared. She walked delicately towards the elevator and arrived at the top floor.
As official as possible, Sara, the CEO secretary was waiting for her. She smiled when Arianna stepped out of the elevator. âWelcome back Miss Jasonâ She said and stretched out her hand for a handshake.
âThank you, Sara. Glad to see you againâ Arianna replied. She took her hand and Sara couldnât hold back, she hugged Arianna.
âYouâre looking gorgeous, Miss Jasonâ Sara complimented. She had always been a beautiful woman but not this glamorous. This Arianna Jason possesses another charm different from the Arianna she used to be.
âThank you Sara,â Arianna said. Sara leads her to an office adjacent to Jaceâs. The exciting part of it is that the offices are built with glasses but sound proof.
Everyone on the top floor could see each other. The CEO office is made with a different glass. He could see everyone and turned the office volume of any of the offices that he wanted.
