Tang Yunâs Dejection
Mengyao was looking at Lin Yi with an apologetic face, "It must have been very exhausting for you in these two days? I wanted to make you breakfast, but Shu made a mess out of it."
"Hehe, I understand." Lin Yi smiled.
After the duo left the kitchen, Lin Yi only shook his head. The girls were really not meant to be in the kitchen, were they? However, their intentions were more than sufficient. It was probably the Missâ first time entering the kitchen? Shu was probably the same.
When Lin Yi arrived, all of the electronic devices had the instruction manuals inside. It was obvious that none of them were used before, completely untouched.
It was an easy task for Lin Yi to prepare breakfast since heâd been doing it every morning. First, he adjusted the time needed for the porridge then fried some eggs and created a pickle with sesame oil. The dishes were landed on the table after not long.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Yushu was impressed by how Lin Yiâs speed: "Yaoyao sis, why are we so dumb?"
"You are dumb, not me." Mengyao was also astonished by Lin Yiâs efficiency.
Mengyao helped Lin Yi in pouring the porridge out while Yushu heated the milk for them.
"Lin Yi, since you didnât get much rest yesterday, why donât you get some rest and donât drive later?" Mengyao was afraid that the fatigue would affect Lin Yi.
"Iâm not tired. By the way, I wonât be attending school first. I got something else to do first." Lin Yi smiled.
"Something else? What are you going to do later?" Mengyao asked subconsciously.
"Qibingâs real estate company said that they want to discuss the compensation for the relocation project today." Lin Yi replied.
"Oh?" Mengyao was a little unhappy when she learned that it was about Tang Yun again.
"Oh, you are going to negotiate? I wanna go too." Yushu swallowed the egg in her mouth and drank a mouthful of milk before speaking.
"Whatâs the point of you going?" Lin Yi found it funny.
"My nickname is the Shu the negotiator, Shield bro, just let me go with you, Iâll make sure your negotiation is going to be a huge success!" Yushu said.
"Shu, why do you have so many nicknames? How about Shu the spy? Mengyao kicked Yushu. She didnât want Shu to be involved in those stupid events.
"Oh, thatâs just the tip of the iceberg, actually Iâm an all-rounder!" Yushu continued, "Shield bro, bring me with you. I guarantee your success."
Seeing how enthusiastic Yushu was, Lin Yi only smiled bitterly, "You really want to go?"
"En!" Yushu nodded.
"Letâs go...." Lin Yi didnât really mind.
"Yaoyao sis, Shield bro agreed to bring me along. Do you want to join us?" Yushu was excited.
"We are in our final year already, studying is very important. We shouldnât always skip class!" Mengyao replied.
"Never mind. Itâs just a while?" Yushu said, "If I donât go to school, thereâs no point of you going to school alone, is there Yaoyao sis? Weâre always together, letâs go.
"Fine." Mengyao pondered and nodded. "Is it really okay for us to follow?" Mengyao asked Lin Yi.
"Yeah, no big deal." Lin Yi didnât really find anything odd bringing them along. After all, they werenât doing anything sneaky. They were just going to discuss the compensation in Qibingâs real estate company.
After breakfast, Lin Yi gave a call to Tang Yun, informing her that he was on his way to the hospital and mentioning Mengyao and Yushu at the same time.
Tang Yun wasnât a stingy person. She might find it unreasonable for Mengyao and Yushu to tag along, but since they were so willing to join, she didnât really mind. Three of them had a very complicated relationship, they always meet each other frequently but they werenât friends nor were they enemies.
After the war in Fatty Laiâs villa and the canteen incident, the trioâs relationship became like this.
On the surface, they were totally fine with each other, but on the inside, neither side lowered their guard. Tang Yun was no idiot. She knew how huge a threat Mengyao and Yushu were. She couldnât stay at ease with them around.
Since Mrs. Tang was following them this time, Lin Yi couldnât use Mengyaoâs Audi s5, could he? It would be too cramped to fit them so, in the end, he decided to use his worn out van.
Mengyao and Yushu werenât being picky this time and seated themselves in the van. As bumpy as it was, it was still bearable for the Miss.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Mrs. Tang was flabbergasted to see the two gorgeous beauties in the van. Her heart tightened as she eyed her daughter and lowered her voice, "Who are they? Do you know them?"
"Yeah, they are Lin Yiâs friends." Tang Yun didnât want to tell her mother the complex relationship of Mengyao and the Miss. It was not an easy task to explain with just two or three sentences.
"They are such beauties. You should be careful. Whatâs their background?" Mrs. Tang was concerned as she asked.
"Iâll tell you when we get back home." Tang Yun only frowned. She didnât want to talk about it in the car. What if Lin Yi heard it? How embarrassing was that?
Mrs. Tang looked at Mengyao and Yushu again. They were as pretty as her own daughter. Besides, they were dressed beguilingly, nothing like an ordinary girl. Were they daughters of a noble house?
Since her daughter avoided the questions, she went to look for the answer herself, "Hello, you guys are?"
"Aunty, we are here to help Lin Yi in negotiating with Qibingâs real estate." Mengyao didnât know how to answer but hesitated for a second and replied with Yushuâs reason.
"Help us to negotiate?" Mrs. Tang startled.
"Yeah, my dad operates a company, so Iâm somehow more knowledgable in this." Mengyao continued.
She couldnât say that she was forced by Yushu who only came to have fun, could she? Who knew if dumbass Yushu would say something as irrelevant as the main wife and second wife. How awkward could that be?
"I see, thank you very much!" Mrs. Tang was tickled pink when she heard the reasons. As long as they werenât here to mess with her daughterâs standing.
"Itâs nothing." Mengyao shook her head.
Tang Yun couldnât help but let out a breath of relief. She didnât want Mengyao to say something inappropriate that would make her mother worry. As for how was she going to explain this to her mother was not a matter to be concerned with now. At the very least, they got a passing grade and they werenât losing too much dignity.
Grateful as she was, she glanced at Mengyao with gratitude and lowered her head, not knowing what to say.
All of a sudden, Tang Yun was feeling a little dejected. Ever since Lin Yi entered her life, heâd been helping her family from the beginning until now?
From driving Zhou Ruoming away from her life to giving a helping hand to her motherâs stall from the bullies to her fatherâs surgery fee to her younger brother Xiaoweiâs incident and last but not least, the issues surfaced from the relocation project. Lin Yi had always been the savior of the day, settling all her emerging problems!
