towards the man beside her.
âAmber, this is my husband, Stefano Marino,â Bianca introduced with a smile, her hand resting on Stefanoâs arm. Stefano returned the smile, his warm brown eyes crinkling at the corners as he
extended a hand towards Amber.
âItâs nice to finally meet you, Amber,â Stefano greeted her warmly. Amberâs l*ps curled into a soft smile as she shook his hand, a sense of warmth washing over her in response to his genuine welcome.
âLikewise, Stefano. Itâs a pleasure to be here,â Amber replied graciously.
Before long, Amberâs attention was diverted by a sudden burst of energy that filled the room as a young boy raced towards them, his eyes alight with excitement. Biancaâs laughter rang out at Amberâs reaction as she nodded in affirmation. âYou caught me,â she admitted with a playful wink. âI couldnât resist naming my little boy after my dear brother. I mean, Junior and Stefano aside, Richard is my favorite person in the world, so Pietro just seemed like the perfect choice,â she responded.
Amber was a little surprised by how much Bianca loved her brother and openly expressed it, unlike Richard, who didnât even mention her existence until she showed up.

Bianca rolled her eyes at him, while Stefano chuckled before turning to Richard.

him,â she encouraged.

mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
Richard chuckled at Pietroâs antics, ruffling the boyâs hair affectionately as he settled into his seat. âI missed you too, buddy,â he murmured. Pietro beamed up at him, his eyes shining with adoration as he nestled closer to his uncleâs side.
As they prepared to start the meal, Richardâs gaze drifted to the extra plate set in front of an empty seat at the table. âBianca, are you expecting someone else?â
Biancaâs eyes sparkled with a hint of mystery as she nodded in response to Richardâs question. âYes, one more guest is joining us for dinner. Which means we canât start just yet,â she explained, her tone laced with a touch of anticipation. Richardâs curiosity deepened at her words, as he immediately
wondered who else she could have invited.
Assuming it was another member of their family. Richard took a guess, his gaze alighting on Bianca.
âIs it Nonna whoâs coming to join us tonight?â
Biancaâs l*ps curled into a knowing smile at Richardâs guess, her eyes twinkling with amusement. âNot Nonna. I did try to get her to come, but she says she doesnât want her blood pressure to increase.
But she sends her love. Our guest tonight, however, is someone else. Someone special,â she teased, a hint of secrecy underlying her words.

âPlease show her to the dining area,â Bianca instructed. The servant bowed once more before retreating leaving Richard to regard his sister with a sense of unease that settled uneasily in the pit of his

As moments stretched into seconds, a figure appeared in the doorway of the dining area, drawing all eyes towards her with a sense of quiet awe.
