What Everyone Deserves 🌶️🌶️

Bitten by the Alpha

Alex

Man, being the Alpha was tiring.

~Bzzz.~

Just as I was getting ready for bed, a text from Anthony popped up. He’d insisted we swap numbers for emergencies.

I sat up straight. Was this an emergency?

Anthony

Howdy Beta, how’s it going?

It didn’t seem urgent. I relaxed a bit and shot back a reply:

Alex

not bad, thanks Anthony. how’re you?

Anthony

Good, good.

Anthony

You know what I was thinking?

Alex

what’s up?

Anthony

What if we upped the ante on this shindig we’re planning?

Anthony

Beyond the board games and instruments or whatever - but drinks, liquor, all that

Anthony

Not like you don’t have enough in the castle ;)

Anthony

And a whole feast! You know how much Raphael would love that honor

Alex

what about saving our food? I thought we were rationing

Anthony

You know how stocked we are on food.

Anthony

Didn’t Raph tell you?

Raph? I felt a twinge of disappointment. He hadn’t.

But I didn’t want Anthony to know that.

Alex

uh yeah he did

Anthony

Then you know they just took inventory today and planned out the next week of meals. We’ve got plenty. Food to spare

Anthony

Or share on a special evening, with all our new friends!

Anthony

These people are cooped up, they deserve a little extra celebration, don't you think?

I pondered it while brushing my teeth.

Sky would be thrilled to plan a real party. Everyone loved a good bash. Good food, a few drinks…

What’s not to love?

Personally, I was always game for a few beers. It helped me relax. I always felt a bit more at ease and self-assured.

Maybe it would do the same for Zara, who was usually pretty quiet. I was starting to enjoy it when she spoke up. She had interesting things to say. Maybe with a bit of liquid courage, she’d start sharing more.

And maybe, just maybe, the party would give me a chance to chat with some girls from the other packs. There were definitely some cuties around.

~Maybe then Anthony would stop nagging me about not having a mate.~

I sighed. My fingers hovered over the screen, unsure.

I wanted so badly to win everyone over. It felt like I was on a first date—only with a bunch of werewolves to impress.

I couldn’t lead like Jax did. I wasn’t a natural at laying down the law, so I had to find a different way. I couldn’t be a tough-as-nails Alpha. Or a cold, calculating Alpha.

But I could be a kind, fun, approachable Alpha.

~The kind of Alpha who throws parties.~

I imagined myself leading a toast.

~Cheers!~

In my mind, everyone raised their drinks, their faces lit up with smiles.

Anthony was right—they deserved it.

Alex

Good idea

Anthony

I’ll let you take credit for this one ;)

Alex

thnx Alpha

Anthony

It’s the least I can do!

Anthony

Feel free to make the announcement tomorrow

Alex

will do.

Quinn

When Jaxon texted me to say he was on his way up, I suddenly turned into a nymph. I quickly stripped off all my clothes and tossed them aside.

Then I sprawled out on my bed, trying to look like a model. Like Rose in ~Titanic~ when she was being sketched.

I used to have fantasies like this.

Dreams about a tall, handsome man sneaking in at night and taking me.

~Oh my God. So exciting.~

Footsteps echoed in the hallway. They stopped outside my door.

The doorknob turned slowly.

My heart pounded in my chest, and for a moment fear took over.

What if it was my mom coming to check on me?

She would kill me on the spot if she saw me like this.

The door opened, inch by inch.

I sighed with relief when I saw who it was...

~Jax.~

As handsome as ever.

Seeing me sprawled out on the bed completely naked, Jax's jaw dropped.

“Come here,” I whispered.

He didn’t need to be told twice.

My mate rushed in, crawling onto the foot of my bed.

I let him spread my knees as I laid back on the pillows.

With his hands gripping my legs, holding me steady and open, he planted kisses up and down my inner thighs, getting closer and closer to where I wanted him…

He paused, driving me wild with anticipation.

Then, after a moment of suspense, his tongue parted my outer lips and darted inside, touching my core.

“Ahh, Jax, oh my God…”

I arched my back and gasped at the contact.

So cool and slick against my heat. He slid his tongue tantalizingly up towards my clit, ending with a gentle flick that sent me into ecstasy.

I saw stars.

He slipped a finger inside of me, hitting my g-spot as his tongue continued its magic.

~Sooo fuuucking goood…~

And the best part?

I was being eaten out on my childhood bed.

~Fuck this house. Fuck this prison.~

One of my hands clutched at the sheets, while the other reached down to grab at Jax. I tangled my fingers in his hair.

He looked up at me. In a soft voice, he asked, “How’s this feel?”

“It feels so wonderfully naughty,” I murmured back between gasps. “So sneaky, right? So forbidden…”

“Yeah, just keep quiet,” Jax instructed as he flicked his tongue again.

Easier said than done.

Especially when he was treating my body like this. So lovingly… Tenderly…

“I love you, Quinn,” he said out of the blue.

My heart and my body pulsed together, beating as one.

“I love you, too… I… I…” I couldn’t speak clearly. I had to stop talking, or I’d scream into the night. I’d wake not only my mom but the neighbors miles away.

Seeing this, Jax smirked up at me with his eyes. His hand slid up my body, up my stomach and chest, and landed on my mouth. He cupped his palm there to quiet me.

But that only made me wilder.

With a muffled moan into his hand and a huge shudder, I came.

~ “Mmmm….”~

“Shhh!” Jax hissed.

The stars behind my eyelids exploded into fireworks, and I soared up into the sky with them, surrounded by sparkling electricity. My whole body arched, and my toes curled.

“Ahhh, Jaxon,” I sighed.

As I floated back down from the peak of pleasure, he wriggled up beside me and kissed my cheek. I kissed him back on the lips. He put his arm around me, and I snuggled into his chest.

“Thank you,” I sighed.

“You deserve it.”

As we lay there, in that intimate space, I watched my worlds merge. My childhood home with Shadow Moon. My past with my present.

Morphing into my future.

“So,” Jax began, his eyes scanning my room, taking it all in. “What are those?”

He gestured towards the wall opposite us. It was plastered with small slips of paper, each adorned with my handwriting. Some held sentences. Others, full paragraphs.

Suddenly, I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks. “Just some quotes. From my favorite books. I borrowed them all from the library, so I wrote down the parts I didn’t want to forget after returning them.”

I glanced at Jax, feeling shy. “Isn’t that embarrassing?”

“It’s adorable,” he responded.

“Did you ever collect anything as a kid?”

He pondered for a moment, then finally said, “Rocks.”

I giggled. “What a dork.”

We remained in our embrace, Jax gently stroking my hair while I traced patterns on his chest, for as long as I dared. I reveled in the thrill, but I knew my mom sometimes woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, so I didn’t want to risk it.

Reluctantly, I said, “You should probably head back downstairs.”

“You’re probably right,” he agreed.

With one last lingering kiss, he rolled off the bed and made his way towards the door.

“I love you,” I said again.

“I love you, too. Goodnight, Quinn.”

“Goodnight, Jax.”

Jaxon

I retreated to my couch, lay down, and tried to count backwards to fall asleep.

~100, 99, 98, 97, 96…~

I made it all the way to zero before deciding this was futile.

Because I still couldn’t shake that dream of Katherine.

Her fiery hair. Her soft, ethereal dress. The spark when she touched me.

Thinking about her then and there, right after making love to Quinn in her fucking childhood home no less, filled me with guilt. I was being a terrible mate.

But I couldn’t help it. Every time I closed my eyes, Katherine sauntered in, appearing as abruptly as she had in the woods.

The thing was, I loved Quinn. Forever and always. Completely and utterly.

She was my lifelong partner. My Luna.

So why the hell was I so weak?

While I held Quinn securely in my heart, Katherine kept invading my mind. Why was my heart betraying my head like this?

After all, it was just a dream. The red hair had been a strange coincidence. Something picked up back at Shadow Moon or something.

Unless, by some miracle, Katherine had actually survived. Or, had she been…resurrected?

Either way, she was alive and wandering around out there in the forest. With set plans to see me again soon.

I berated myself.

~Stop it, Jax. Stop it now.~

I repeated that to myself until I finally fell asleep.
