A Simple Favor

Y/N POV

The rest of the week sucked dicks. Everyday was just as boring an uneventful as the last. I was dying for it to just be Monday already, which is weird because normally I despise Mondays.

It was Sunday night and currently I was curled up on my couch under a warm blanket, watching Law and Order SVU reruns.

I fell asleep around 11pm on the couch, my TV still on.

I woke the next morning, my alarm blaring and the morning sun lighting up my whole apartment.

I groggily sat up, rubbing my eyes and yawning. "Alright!" I said, getting frustrated at my damn alarm which was still going off.

I turned it off and checked my calendar. I was due at the studio in two hours.

The studio.

SHIT! I jumped my my couch, my heart racing. I ran to the shower, a shit eating grin on my face at the prospect of getting to spend more time with Blake.

I made sure I washed everything before hopping out of the shower, doing my skin routine, applying some makeup around around my eyes, and styling my hair.

I put on a black lacy bra and matching panties. I decided on casual jeans and a white blouse. I pulled on my white airforce 1's and grabbed my purse, making sure I had everything before leaving my apartment, locking my door behind me.

I walked down the hall to the elevator and went down to the parking garage.

The drive to the studio was about 8 minutes from my apartment because it was also located in Burbank.

As I parked my car in the studio lot, I felt my anxiety start to kick in.

I had picked up some breakfast and an ice coffee on the way to the studio, so thankfully I wasn't going into this starving. I popped some gum into my mouth as I walked to the front entrance of the building.

"Good morning." I said to the receptionist. He smiled. "Good morning, what can I do for you?"

"Uh..m-my name is Y/N Y/L/N, um I-I'm here for the table read for A Simple Favor?" I cursed myself for stuttering. The man didn't seem to mind though.

"Of course! Tracy told me you would be coming. The conference room will be on the third floor, down the hall to your right, room number 321. It's all glass so you'll probably see your cast members there."

"Thank you."

We smiled at one another and I followed his directions to the conference room.

I felt my palms begin to sweat and my hands shake as I entered the elevator.

Whew. Okay Y/N. Breathe. You'll be okay.

On the second floor, the elevator stopped and the doors opened. I looked up and saw a man walk in. He smiled at me.

"Hello." He said in a British accent.

"H-hi. Uh I'm Y/N." I said, nervously smiling at him.

"Henry. Are you the Y/N? The one who's going to be in A Simple Favor?" I nodded, feeling a bit puzzled at how he knew who I was.

"Y-yeah. Are you in it?"

"Yeah, I play Blake's husband." My eye widened.

"Oh t-that's cool."

He flashed me a lopsided smile. This man, Henry, seemed really sweet.

"Ah, here is our floor." He said, gesturing to the opening doors.

"Ladies first." I politely smiled at him. "Thank you." He nodded his head and followed me down the hallway. The building seemed to be bustling with people.

People were walking up and down the hallways and chatter was eminent.

We reached our conference room and Henry opened the door for me. "Thanks." I said. He smiled and walked in after me. The room was really plain. It had think glass walls separating the room from the rest of the floor.

The glass seemed to be sound proof because as soon as the glass door closed, all that could be heard were the noises in the room.

Blake didn't seem to be here yet and my suspicious were proven correct when Paul and Tracy approached Henry and I, informing us that she will be a few minutes late due to LA traffic.

"Good morning everyone, so great to see your beautiful faces, take any seat and Tracy will pass out your scripts." Paul said, taking his seat at the head of the table. There were 8 of us in the room currently.

Tracy smiled at me as she handed me my script. "Thanks."

"So I'm sure you are all aware why you are here. Some of you may know each other, some maybe not, so I'll give us 10 minutes to get to know one another before we start." Paul said.

Everyone began to talk to each other and mingle. I was introduced to Linda, Jean, and Rupert. Everyone here seemed to be really friendly and I was having a bit of an easier time than normally socializing.

I was currently having a fun conversation with Henry about something stupid he did as a kid. I couldn't help but laugh with him as he told me the story.

The whole room went quiet when the door opened. I turned around to look at what everyone was focused on.

"Good morning everyone, sorry I'm late, there was a huge car crash blocking half the freeway." The blonde woman said breathlessly. Time seemed to slow down as I looked at her.

Suddenly she was looking at me, her bright blue eyes meeting my grey ones. I was frozen in my spot.

I couldn't look away.

I watched as a sexy smirk slowly spread across her face and a glint of something I couldn't decipher appeared in her eyes.

"Hi."
