"I think I'm a natural-born leader. I know how to bow down to authority if it's authority that I respect." ― Tupac Shakur

TEMPLAR P.O.V

ALLAN DAVID HARRIS and TERESA MARIA HARRIS. They were both buried together next to my parents.

Kneeling down, Terence and I kept the flowers on their grave.

Everett explained everything to me. I never Randall had killed Teresa. For their revenge, they targeted Teresa too. Allan was mad in grief after her death. It's not the first time that happens to the surviving mates. I have heard many such cases, where after the death of the partner the surviving mate loses control over their wolf and starts attacking other people.

The same happened to Allan and he has attacked and killed two girls from GreenRock. To stop him Rett had to kill him.

It is sad. I cannot blame Rett because had I been in his situation, I probably would have done the same... I never know! It's important to consider the safety of the pack first. Because of Allan, two innocent girls were killed. What must go through their family?

Taking a deep breath, I stood up and started walking towards Rett, who was standing near his car along with Jan and Sam.

"You okay?" Rett asked me and I nodded with a jerk of my head. "Let's go."

Since we were already very exhausted from the journey, we decided to stay for the night in GreenRock Pack. However, since Sorority building is in SilverStar Pack, which was the next to GreenRock, we later decided to stay in the pack till Saturday, which is one more night in GreenRock.

I also informed Keith about the change of plans and asked him to directly meet me in the Sorority building on Saturday.

After leaving GreenRock with Rett, this was the first time I was returning to the pack and so first, I visited the pack temple and then talked to my former pack wolves.

The second day was a complete blur to me because I was busy the whole day. At morning, I was reading the information of all the eighteen packs of the country and learned their history. Then late in the afternoon, Jan decided that I must have a mock trail to make myself confident enough to face the Sorority.

"I am not nervous of facing the Sorority" I argued.

"Maybe not of Sorority, but you are nervous in finally revealing your true self to the Alphas'" she argued and I rolled my eyes, however I did not defend myself against it because it was true!

"So, how is this mock trail going to help me?"

"It will... I will ask stupid questions like Louis and Rhino will be the one accusing you of false things like Reece"

"I am not going to pretend to be Reece" Rett growled.

"Urgh... fine! Terence will pretend to be Reece" Jan breathed out in exasperation and I shrugged.

"What do I have to do as Reece?" Terence demanded.

"You have to accuse her of every accusation present under the sun" Jan said in a duh tone and I giggled because it was true. Reece accused me of almost everything.

"Let's start?" she asked. I nodded and then she asked Terence to accuse me of my mistakes.

"You trespassed into my territory, you attacked me, kicked me where I deserve-" at this I burst out laughing and so did Jan, "-thrashed my car, drugged me and now you have the audacity to flaunt your pearly whites" Terence said faking a angry tone and I quickly pursed my lips to hide my grin.

"Yes. Two more Alphas' have said so too. So what do you have to tell to defend yourself?" Jan asked in a voice that was supposed to sound like Louis Gibb.

"Oops" I said and stuck my tongue out to which they all started laughing.

"Be serious" Jan said after sometime and I took a deep breath. "You know what exactly Reece is going to blame you with. How will you defend yourself?"

"Yeah well... I did trespass, I did kill rogues and attack you, but I did not kill any wolf from your pack and hence I think you should not wage a war against my pack. For any losses incurred by you and your pack wolves, I am ready to pay a hefty amount, but I am not ready to pay the price with the lives of my pack wolves"

"Do you think money will be enough?" Jan as Louis asked me.

"No. It will never be enough but it will compensate the damages and in this case, even settle the issue without shedding blood" I said and Jan nodded, before flashing a huge smile.

"If you do it this way, then surely wolves will be able to understand things from your point of view" Jan said and I smiled as Rett threw an arm casually over my shoulder.

__

That night after dinner, I was standing near the window and staring at the moon in the sky, while Rett was talking to Keith and discussing who else should accompany him to the Sorority Building.

It's been days since I last talked to the Goddess. I desperately wanted to talk to her, seek her help but I had sworn that I would do this without her help and I knew I had to do it that way. Be the leader she wants me to be. I knew in my heart that my mother, The Moon Goddess would be with me every step of the way and hence I had nothing to fear about.

Rett lightly placed his hands on either side of my hips and pressed a chaste kiss to the back of my head. Unwarily, I leaned closer to his body, rejoicing the warmth that he and only he could provide me.

"Who is coming from GreenRock?" I asked him.

"Egan, Viola, James along with few others. We have Egan's loyalty. If there will be a war, we will have GreenRock wolves fighting for us" Rett said and I shook my head.

"I do not want a war"

"You can stop the war. By hook or by crook"

"By crook?" I grinned, "That's not the right way. A leader would never choose that way" I said my grin fading away.

"No. But when many lives are to be considered and when talking doesn't settle the issue, you have to think of something to make them see your point" Rett reasoned.

"Let's hope, it does not come down to crook" I said turning to face him. By crook, means the way in which I could forcefully make Reece submit to me and refuse to fight against me.

Tucking a strand of my dark hair behind my ears, Rett smiled at me. Placing my hands over his shoulders, I stood on my toes and leaning closer, I smashed my lips to his. The contact had my senses reeling giddily. My wolf hummed in happiness and started wagging her tail in bliss.

The kiss which was supposed to be purely chaste turned completely opposite every passing minute. I felt Rett's tongue probing into mine as he pressed me closer to his body. My hands fisted his dark hair as he pushed me against the wall. Very soon, we were undressing each other.

__

'Where the hell are you Templar?' Rett demanded through the link and I winced.

'I told you I am in the Sorority Building' I replied calmly drinking coke.

'Why did you go there alone?' Jan asked and I sighed.

Today morning, as soon as I woke up, I made the decision to go the Sorority Building. Since I was the one who had called the Alphas' to come for the meeting today, I was their host. And as a host, it was my duty to be the first one present at the venue of the meeting.

That's why without telling anyone, I straightaway drove to here early in the morning.

'I just wanted to... see the place' I tried to be nonchalant.

'What?' Rett asked stunned and I smiled. I am sure I was confusing him. I was confused too... but guess, I just needed this alone time to come to terms with what will happen after I shift and show myself to others.

Life as I knew it will completely change after this meeting.

'Look... just come to the Sorority Building, I will meet you there' I said and blocked them.

They repeatedly tried to connect with me through the link, but I did not let them in. Sitting on the roof, I watched the arena, just behind the Sorority building. It was an ellipse shaped arena and had a sitting capacity of almost 5,000 people.

Taking a swig, I watched the bleachers which were empty now. In about an hour, a good amount of people would gather here... to see the white wolf, hear her plea for defense. Goosebumps appeared all over my body as I thought about it. I was nervous... because this is my one chance and I had to do everything right in this one chance.

I took one last swig of coke, kept the bottle beside me and leaning back, I thought about what to do to avoid the war.

I shook my head when I felt Everett trying hard to connect with me through the link. Wiping my eyes, I opened the mind-link.

'Templar? Where the fuck are you?' Oh dear! Rett was pissed.

'I am fine'

'That's not the answer to my question' he spat and I pinched my lips together.

'Where are you?' I queried, sitting up. My eyes rounded when I saw the crowd gathered. Holy Goddess! Immediately I checked the time and heaved a sigh when I saw that there was still two minutes for eleven.

'I have reached the building. Where are you?' he asked.

Putting on my aviators, I scanned the crowd. There was a crowd of almost 500 hundred people gathered and I was amazed by the number. I did not expect so many wolves to be present here. Each Alpha had brought at least twenty members from their packs and majority of the crowd was SilverStar wolves. Since the building is in their pack, almost every wolf in the pack was here... even little children.

But yes, everyone who had promised they would be here, were here.

How do I know? Just by seeing the flags which represented their packs.

'I can smell you, but where are you?'

'I am in the roof' I told Rett sitting in my place and tuning in to hear what the crowd was talking about.

'Roof? What the hell are you doing in the roof?' Rett shouted.

'Stop shouting. Go attend the meeting and tell Louis, The White Wolf will join them soon'

'Templar' Rett's tone was a warning.

'Just do as I ask.... Please' I added softly. Rett was silent for a long, long time before heaving a sigh and agreeing to what I said.

I smiled softly and once again tuned to hear the crowd-

"I heard she is very beautiful... almost angelic"

"Some people over there were saying that her eyes are red in color"

"They are hearing the rumors... these Gold-Dust pack wolves have seen her and they say her eyes is the same as color as her wolf- white"

"What's her name by the way?"

"Topaz"

"Hey, it's not Topaz, it's Trinette or something which rhymes with that"

"She is so lucky to be the white wolf"

"I heard she is scary to look"

"Her name is Templar. I have read it in the letter she sent to dad"

"She is brutal in her killings. Heard she spared none"

"She is the white wolf, but poor girl has no mate"

"We have to impress her and take her to our side before the YellowBloom Pack does"

"Sebastian's' Beta said she is smoking hot"

"Dude she is married"

"So? There is nothing harm in looking"

"You are an asshole"

Chuckling, I shook my head. Rumors... rumors... no wonder it is also called as grapevine. Well, at least someone got my name right!

I stood up the minute I saw Louis Gibb, Carl Cooke and Dennis Walton taking their seats at the centre of the platform, located at one end of the arena.

"Silence please" Louis demanded speaking loudly and immediately the crowd got silent. "Good morning to all. I know you are gathered here today in the Sorority Building for a meeting, but I am really sorry to announce that no such meeting would take place"

Clenching my fists, I growled after hearing his words, but my growl were absorbed by the gasps and confused look of the crowd.

"What the hell?"

"Then why did she send us that letter?"

"I told you the white wolf was a myth. Some crazy woman made it all up"

"Silence... silence" Louis commanded and I narrowed my eyes. He then ordered the big bell to be rung and the crowd grew silent after hearing the bell. "Yes, I know. I can understand your anger, but you cannot blame the Sorority for this. This was done by Ms. Templar Green and she has to answer to this wrong, as well as many others she has committed in the previous month" Louis said smugly and I shook my head in disgust.

Keep going like this Louis and soon, I will be forced to kill you.

Where the hell is Rett and others?

I looked at my pack wolves, who were sitting between our most trusted allies, FireLight Pack wolves and GreenRock Pack wolves. Egan had come with his mate and nearly twenty GreenRock Pack wolves. Rett's dad was also here and he was sitting next to Sam. Myron and Genessa too had brought a good number of their pack wolves. I heaved a sigh, when I saw them growling and glaring at the three heads of Sorority.

"Today, in this Sorority Building, we are about to punish Ms. Templar Green for the various crime she has been accused of" Louis added.

"Just like that? Even before she is proved guilty?" I smiled as I heard Everett's voice. The crowd turned their head to look as Everett marched forward through the small passage between the bleachers, with Keith and Cam.

"She will be proved guilty... of that I will make sure" My smile turned into a frown when I heard the annoyingly familiar voice of Reece Burdock. The BlueBells pack wolves were sitting exactly opposite to my pack wolves and from there, Reece got up and walked ahead along with Alton and another pack wolf.

"You can try" Rett smirked and so did I.

"I am not alone in my accusations Green. Brandon Cunningham and Sebastian O'Riley are accusing her for her sins too" Reece pointed out with a smirk of his own.

Oh! How I wish to wipe that.

"We will see about that" Rett replied cooly coming to a halt a few steps away from the platform stage and so did Reece.

"Alpha Brandon Cunningham of Gold-Dust Pack and Sebastian O'Riley of WhiteField Pack are requested to come towards the platforms" a lady, working in the Sorority Building announced and both the Alphas' strode ahead along with two of their pack wolves.

"The accused Ms. Templar Green is requested to come towards the platform" the same lady announced like a robot.

"Where is she? I cannot see her. Is she hiding?" Reece chuckled and I took a deep breath.

"Yes, where is Ms. Templar Green?" Louis demanded cocking an eyebrow and I gritted my teeth.

No Templar... You should not get angry unnecessarily! I reminded myself.

"She is here" Rett said calmly.

Closing my eyes, I remembered my Goddess, "it's now time that you start taking your responsibilities, help your own kind and be the leader that they all want." Her blessing is always there with me and with that I can stand against anything.

"Ah... yes, I can smell her. But she seems far away... maybe she is in the ladies room, sitting and crying?" Reece laughed while I marched forward until I was standing at the edge of the roof.

"NO" Jan's voice boomed and I was surprised to hear it. I looked at her to see that she was sitting next to Ophelia. "Tem is up there, watching us" she pointed her finger to exactly where I was standing at the roof of the arena.

Every single head in the audience turned to see and my heart hammered in my chest when I felt so many eyes on me. Thankfully, I was wearing my aviators which covered half of my flushed face. I was wearing simple black jeans, a white top and black jacket over it. I was not dressed for the occasion because I had planned to shift into my wolf.

With an expressionless face, I scanned the crowd and found everyone staring at me. With their bodies turned, necks craned up, they were all curiously watching me.

Come on Templar, you are brave, you are strong... I whispered to myself and turning sideward, I removed and dropped my aviators to the roof. Spinning, I jumped from the edge of the roof and twirled two to three times in the air while shifting into my white wolf.

My front paws hit the floor in between the bleachers first and then my hind paws. There was collective gasp from the audience when they finally saw my wolf. People stood up to have a better look of me.

Sucking in as much oxygen as possible, I marched forward with my head held high, just like Everett. Some people stepped back in fear, some people tried to touch my fur as I marched ahead. Some bowed their head, some were just staring at me with their mouth dropped open, but everyone had certain reactions.

I did not bother looking or responding to it. Instead, I just continued walking in between the bleachers and once I was at the bottom step, I jumped off and then walked to the clearing.

There was an even louder gasp now because those who couldn't see me or my wolf earlier could see me very clearly now. My wolf felt extremely proud of herself. People started whispering, talking, but I blocked them all out and instead zoomed in my gaze on Everett, who was... surprisingly frowning at me.

'What?' I asked.

'How are you going to shift back?' he demanded and I smiled in my mind.

'Watch' I told him stopping in my tracks, a few steps away from him.

Letting out a breath, I slowly started shifting back.

"What is she doing?"

"Shameless hussy"

"Don't you dare look at her Dean"

"Gross"

"Nice"

I could hear some voices in the crowd, but they had nothing to worry about.

My fur started disappearing and skin appeared but to cover that skin, I was wrapped by the very dress, which represents me as The Daughter of The Moon Goddess. I was wearing the white floor length dress with the ocean blue silk tie around my waist.

'Nice' Everett said through the link with a smirk and I winked at him.

"Such a lovely dress"

"She is so lucky"

"How did she get that dress?"

"She really is the daughter of Goddess"

People spoke again... but ignoring it, I turned to face the audience, who were all standing up and watching me with wide eyes. Now, my face was visible.

Might not be angelic, but not ugly either. I do clean myself pretty well.

For few seconds, I just stood and scanned the crowd. I did not need anyone telling me that my eyes were the color of blood... I was sure of it because my wolf was still at the forefront.

Everyone in the crowd was staring at me with eyes that described various emotions. My wolf was really pleased to see that none of those eyes had hatred in them. They were shocked, surprised, confused, excited, envious, happy, pleased but not hateful.

Raising my chin, I addressed the crowd, "My name is Templar Green. I am the daughter of Moon Goddess. I am the white wolf"

Some inhaled sharply, some gulped, some just stared blankly.

Placing a hand over my heart, I genuflected and bowed my head, offering complete respect to the wolves of all the eighteen packs. My duty is to serve and protect them.

When I did that, others followed. Placing a hand over their heart, they bowed their head in respect.

After some time, I stood straight. "My humble apologies for keeping the truth from you. It was wrong and my only excuse is that I had been selfish. I have realized my mistake and I want to rectify it. Like I have mentioned in the letter, I have called you all today here, in the Sorority Building, to give me a second chance."

"Second chance?" Reece scoffed. "One who kills pack wolves do not require any second chance"

Smiling, I turned to face Reece. "I have not killed any innocent pack wolves while I had trespassed into your territory"

"Prove it" Reece taunted and I knew he was throwing my own words back at me.

"I can. I will" I told him and he narrowed his eyes.

"You are in the Sorority Building and here you have to answer to us" Louis remarked and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

"Fine. Begin it... let's get this over quick" Reece said uninterestedly and Louis frowned at him.

"Ms. Templar Green" Louis began and I raised my lashes to look at him. He blinked and gulped when he saw my eyes, but quickly cleared his throat, looked down and continued talking, "The Alphas' of three well-known packs of the country has pressed charges against you of trespassing, damaging property, killing of pack wolves, injuring pack wolves and coercing wolves to surrender themselves to you. Let's hear the Alphas' first."

"Reece Burdock, tell us what happened that day" Dennis Walton urged.

Reece fake sighed and began, "Just another day in my pack. Everything was going fine until this crazy bitch... I mean this... Templar Green, ran into my territory. My pack wolves and I tried to stop her but she tried to dominate us. When she couldn't dominate me, she attacked me and to protect me my pack wolves fought with her and then she killed them one after the other, right in front of me" Reece faked a sad tone, while everyone from my pack growled loudly after hearing his words.

"When I threatened to tell to the Sorority, she fled" Reece added and I raised my brows amused by his story. He can become a great story-teller.

"Lying son of a bitch" Everett growled in rage but I held his arm and shook my head.

'You cannot just let him go Templar' Keith spat through the link.

'Not yet' I told Rett through them. 'Do not react just yet. Let the dog bark because we know barking dogs don't bite.'

"Mind your language Mr. Green" Louis snapped and Rett growled at him.

"Why didn't you tell the same to Reece when he called Templar crazy?" Cam demanded.

"We have heard you Mr. Burdock and we hope justice is given to you" Louis decided changing the topic was best. "Brandon Cunningham, give us your account."

Brandon, a ginger head, bowed his head to me and I gasped in surprise because I thought he hated me. He then started talking, "It's true that Ms. Templar Green has trespassed into my territory and dominated my pack wolves, but she has not killed or injured any pack wolves. She has not even destroyed any property. She had entered the pack following a group of rogues, killed some and was about to follow the rest of the group, but I stopped her and challenged her. She defeated me in a fair fight and crossed my pack territory."

Brandon spoke the truth and I was astonished to hear it because I seriously did not expect it. Reece growled at him not appreciating it.

"You said she killed rogues in your pack. Where those rogue's running away from her?" Louis demanded.

"No. They were deliberately baiting her. My pack wolves had spotted them and immediately I commanded them to have them leave. But those rogues were cruel and they started attacking us. That's when the white wolf arrived. She killed them all and like Everett Green had said that day, by killing those rogues, she had protected my pack wolves" Brandon finished dexterously.

I turned to look at Rett, who was already staring at Brandon, with the same surprised look.

'He did not utter a single lie' I told him through the link.

"Very well, I do not think you have much to say to us" Louis said sourly and I glared at him. I am sure neither Reece, who was growling madly, nor him thought that Brandon would go for the truth.

'What the hell?' Keith hissed but I just shook my head.

I actually want Louis to do his worst so that everyone can realize what kind of a chief he is.

"Thank-you" Brandon said and nodding at Rett and me, he stepped back.

"Sebastian O'Riley step ahead, please" Carl Cooke requested in a kind voice. "Tell us what happened that day." Among the three chiefs of Sorority, Carl was the only one who was good. But his voice would often get suppressed because he was surrounded by corrupt people.

"She... Templar Green, trespassed into my pack territory. Like Brandon said, there were rogues baiting her and she had come to attack them. We tried to stop her, and she attacked us" Sebastian said and I sighed.

"She killed your pack wolves too?" Louis smirked and this time even I growled along with my pack wolves. My wolf started pacing inside me furious. She wanted to show Louis his true position. What he was doing was wrong!

"No" Sebastian said and I quickly turned my head to look at him.

"What?" Louis asked unprepared for that.

"She did not kill any of my pack wolves. I did not write that in my complaint either... She dominated us and fought against only those who tried to stop her from crossing the territory. Like I said before, she was after the rogues and she wanted to kill them."

"Maybe she did not kill but she must have hurt some pack wolves?" Dennis queried.

"Yes. She did hurt... not deep injuries. She knocked out few of my fighters" Sebastian said and I sighed because he told what he had seen... nothing fabricated like Reece.

"We have heard what the three Alphas' had to say. Now, Ms. Templar Green, do you have anything on your behalf?" When Louis looked up again, he was smirking and I knew the bastard was enjoying this.

"Not just yet" I answered calmly.

Louis smirked victoriously and then began again, "They have witnesses to prove it and now we are going to hear those witnesses."

I nodded but my wolf was annoyed.

"Our first witness is Alton McNamara, the Beta of BlueBells pack. Alton step forward please" Carl said.

'Now they will hear the truth' Rett said through the link and I agreed with him because Alton was our ally. He had helped us that day in kidnapping Randall from BlueBells.

'True. Now the game will change' Cam sniggered and I smirked.

'I don't know whose face to watch, Reece or Louis's' Keith chuckled through the link as Alton stepped forward and bowed his head in respect to the Sorority.

"Tell us Alton, what you had seen that day" Carl asked gently.

Alton gulped, lowered his head and muttered, "The same thing what my Alpha had already told you."

I felt the ground collapse from beneath my feet after hearing the Alton's words.

"You bastard" Rett thundered, his whole body trembling in rage. Rett started making his way towards him, but I stepped in between and pressed my body closer to Rett's intending to calm him down.

'Don't' I pleaded through the link. My wolf was extremely hurt because she had hopes with Allan. Not just for us because I honestly believed he was the one who had the capacity to lead BlueBells pack wolves.

'What a coward' Keith spat through the link staring at Allan in unhidden contempt.

'He did what he had to do. Let's not ponder over that' I told them in a calm voice. I had to react quickly or else hell would have broken loose.

"Control yourself Mr. Green" Louis hissed.

My wolf whined wondering if we seriously made a mistake by trusting Alton. When I was sure Rett was calmed down, I pulled away from him and spun to look at Alton.

He was not looking up; he was staring at the ground. But as Reece placed a hand over Alton's shoulder, he looked up and I noticed that Alton's was pale and his eyes seemed dead.

I tensed because something did not seem right. Alton could be trusted. He had gone against his own Alpha to help us once... why would he stand by Reece when he knows Reece is wrong? Is Reece blackmailing him in some way? Did Reece find out we were helped by his own pack wolves in kidnapping Randall?

I think he did!

I glanced at the crowd and saw there were only few BlueBells wolf and most of them were the ones who had not helped us the other day. There were only two to three in the group who had helped us that day and they all looked... sad... like lost all hope kind!

My eyes met one of the BlueBells wolves, who worked with us that day, but now he quickly looked away.

I am sure Reece had found out his pack wolves had helped me and if Reece could hurt his loved ones; he must have done something far worse to his pack wolves.

My wolf snapped her jaws in rage and I clenched my fists. I was in the edge of my temper now. If I hear one more lie or if Louis wrongfully reprimands me, I am going to lose it.

"They are lying" Jan thundered and Louis narrowed his eyes.

I took deep breaths to calm my wolf, who was in rage... mostly at Reece, because he has done some serious wrongs with his pack wolves. I am sure Alton's father was targeted... what state must the BlueBells wolf be at now?

Terrorized by their pack Alpha!

Dear Goddess... please protect them until I set this right.

The bell ringing brought me out of my thoughts. Shaking my head, I looked up and hitched my brows together when I saw that my pack wolves as well as Firelight, GreenRock and DayDusk pack wolves were throwing abuses at the Sorority Chiefs and Reece.

The bell rang again and there were low murmurs now.

"I said shut up" Louis shouted full throttle glaring at my friends. "This is not some fish market. It's the Sorority Building and everyone has to obey the law here. Even the white wolf"

That did it.

My wolf refused to be cowered down anymore and a loud deafening growl emerged from my chest which silenced the whole building.

"Do you know who you are talking to?" I demanded in an animalistic tone striding towards the platform. All the three chiefs of Sorority paled and immediately stood up when they saw me. "How dare you disrespect me?" I demanded pointing an index to my chest.

They gulped and looked at each other... scared. Their skin had lost color and their hands were trembling.

My growls turned violent as I marched closer. My wolf was pissed and she wanted them to be sorry. However, before I could climb on the platform, a strong lean hand was wrapped around me. At first I growled but very quickly, I was able to recognize the touch of my mate.

He pulled me closer to his powerful frame and nestled his nose against my neck, 'Calm down, Templar. We still have hope' he whispered soothingly through the link and slowly, my wolf retreated.

I blinked repeatedly before nervously licking my lower lip.

Oh dear Goddess!

What was I about to do?

I took a long breath and then nodded.

I looked at the Sorority Chief's who had the same fearful look etched on their face. "Continue with the meeting" I told Carl and he nodded hesitantly.

While walking back to my earlier place, I saw the crowd who were staring at me with a confused look. They could not figure out what exactly happened. My eyes flickered to Jan, who smirked at me, 'That was enough to scare them' she said and I scoffed.

'Did not intend to scare them... just want them to be fair to me too' I supplied through the link.

After few minutes, when they were sure I was calm, the meeting began. "Call the next witness."

One by one they came, from bluebells and one by one they turned hostile to me. My wolf was still at the edge and after hearing their lies, she would go ballistic but I suppressed her because I knew Reece had coerced his pack wolves into lying. Hence, I could understand them. However, my anger towards Reece and Louis was turning into red hot rage. Every passing second their sneer was getting to me and crescents formed on my palms wherever my nails dug.

While the next witness, who was from Whitefield, was telling the truth, the crowd grew suddenly silent and I frowned.

Except for mine, every single head turned to look at one side of the entrance of the arena. The Sorority Chief's stood up with a frown etched in their face.

"What in the world is he doing here?" Louis hissed and that's when the air brought me his scent. My lips tilted upwards and my wolf was pleased that Zander had come here and respected my wishes.

"I called him here" I told Louis and his head whipped towards me.

"He is a rogue. Rogues have no place in this building" Louis spat and I raised my eyebrows incredulously.

"If I am not mistaken, Sorority was done to maintain peace amongst wolves. Zander Roach is a wolf and he as much right to be here as you and I have" I proclaimed.

"See... my friends... see for yourself what kind of a wolf she is" Reece began and I closed my eyes shut while my wolf bristled. I swear, I am going to kill him! "Her wolf color might be white, but she is no Goddess's daughter. She is a fake and yet, you bow your head to her. I say you all are fools" Reece spat and my eyes flew open, while earth-shattering growls emanated from people who supported me.

I turned to look at Zander, who had a disturbed look etched in his face. He was not alone, they were nearly ten to fifteen wolves with him too.

"I do not wish to be a problem to you. I will leave" Zander said quietly.

"You will not walk out of here Zander. Not today" I told him with my Alpha tone and inhaling sharply, Zander nodded. He and his friends sat in a seat, farthest from all the pack wolves.

I then turned to look at Louis, who was glaring at me, "Add this to my list of sins" I said sweetly and he scowled at me. "Since we are already on one issue, let's finish that and discuss this later" I added and the chiefs agreed with me.

"Call in the next witness" Dennis proclaimed.

"Next witness, also the last witness is Matt Hayman of Gold-Dust" the lady announced and Matt stepped forward.

"Tell us Matt, what you have seen that day" Dennis queried.

"I was informed by the Beta of the pack that rogues had attacked us and so I went with other fighters. There we noticed that there were ten to fifteen of them and we started fighting with them. The rogues were feral and they were fighting violently. They used to attack anyone who came in their path. I was fighting one and he over-powered me. He was about to kill me when the white wolf came and attacked him, thus killing him. She saved my life that day and I believe she is the daughter of Goddess" Matt added at the end and I swallowed audibly as he ducked his head.

"We have heard all the witness and now, we ask once again with you Ms. Templar Green, have you got something to say in your defense?" Carl asked.

"Yes, I have" I answered.

"Strange. You had nothing to say earlier" Louis commented.

"I did. But I wanted to hear everyone first" I said smoothly and Louis rolled his eyes. He mumbled something to himself but it wasn't very clear to me.

"First of all, I accept that I committed a mistake in trespassing. For that, I do deserve to be punished" I told and Carl nodded. "Now, let me share with you what actually happened that day and the days that followed. It began with a group of rogue throwing a dead body of a girl from my pack, to whom, I was a legal guardian. The guards informed me of that attack and so I rushed to the scene. At that time I did not know it, but now I know that I was the target of those rogues."

"Target? Why would rogues target you?"

I told them. I told them about Glen and the Ryker's family story in brief.

"Oh dear!" Carl whispered and I nodded. "All this time an evil was lurking amongst us and we were not aware of it?"

"The evil is dead. Yet not gone because it still lingers around" My eyes were focused on Reece as I said those words.

"That's a nice story" Louis said and I clenched my fists.

"It's not a story" Rett spat.

"Oh! Is it not? Do expect me to believe that?" he asked.

"I have witness to prove that it is not a story" I smirked.

"Call them" Dennis said and I nodded. I called those who I knew would tell the truth. First it was Everett, then Ophelia, Keith, Terence, Egan and lastly, Myron. They all spoke the truth about the existence of Glen Ryker.

"I hope they are enough... because If not, I can ask many more people to speak the truth" I told Louis.

"We believe you" Carl said with a gentle smile and I nodded.

"Like I said, I was the target and I have Zander Roach here, who can prove to you that the rogues were paid to attack me."

"So, the rogue is going to be a witness?" Dennis asked.

"He is my friend too" I answered grimly.

"Zander Roach, tell us how much you were paid to attack Ms. Templar Green?" Louis demanded.

"Two bags of gold" he said out loud and there was a collective gasp from the audience.

"Did you accept the offer given to you, by Mr. Klaus?"

"No. I did not. I do not hurt women and I do not let my boys hurt them either" Zander answered sincerely.

"Forgive me, Mr. Roach, but I find it a little difficult to believe that you are such a saint" Louis mocked and Zander bared his fangs.

"I still have the mail I have received from Klaus. I can show it to you" one of Zander's friend said glaring at Louis. Reece glared at him in disgust and Louis just compressed his lips and nodded.

"Bring it" Carl commanded and the mail that had a price on my head was shown to all the three chiefs.

"I hope it satisfied your curiosity" I told Louis who clenched his jaws. "I was targeted... I was baited and I took the bait. The rogues ran towards WhiteField Pack and I followed. They reached Gold-Dust, I followed them there. They reached BlueBells, I followed them there. I did not force a single BlueBells wolf to surrender to me. They themselves chose to do it because they had learned the truth of my existence by then."

"Are you saying that my pack wolves are lying?" Reece shouted and I raised my hand.

"I am not finished talking Mr. Burdock" I growled, without looking at him. "Reece stopped me, disrespected me. I attacked and defeated him before going away" I said raising my chin.

"She is lying. She did not defeat me. She fled after killing my pack wolves" Reece protested and I rolled my eyes heavenward.

"I have someone who can prove to you that I did not kill BlueBells pack wolves. Instead, they surrendered to me" I said looking at Reece, whose eyes widened.

"Who is it?"

"Genessa Thompson" I replied with a smile and Genessa stood up.

"I do not think she forced the BlueBells pack wolves to surrender or she killed them. I believe so because I had got a call and was asked by a BlueBells pack wolves to help her mate" Genessa mentioned.

"Which wolf from BlueBells?" Dennis asked.

I looked at Genessa and nodded, "Alton McNamara" she breathed out and Reece's head whipped to glare at his Beta, who was trembling like a leaf.

There were shocked murmurs from the audience.

"This is the card, which Alton had given to me" Rett smirked and handed Genessa's card to the lady who showed it to the three chiefs of the Sorority.

"She is lying" Reece snapped frowning at Genessa. "She is friends with this bitch. Of course they would support her."

"I could say the same to all your witness" I said to Reece. "I could also say that all your so called witness were your own pack members whom you have coerced into telling the lies, by threatening someone close to them" I added in a vicious tone and Reece's eyes rounded but he quickly looked away. Alton slowly raised his lashes and when his eyes clashed with mine, he gulped. I could now see the fear in his eyes.

I closed and opened my eyes, in a gesture offering assurance and Alton let out a breath.

"Mind your language Mr. Burdock" Carl growled. "And you shouldn't put false accusations on others Mrs. Green."

'It's not a false accusation, is it?' Rett asked through the link, in a serious tone.

'It's not. He has threatened Alton and others.'

'I have a plan' Keith said through the link and I looked at him questioningly. 'It requires our allies help too.'

'Say it to me, when the judges take a break' I ordered and he nodded with a jerk of his head.

"Any more witnesses, Mrs. Green?" Louis asked sourly.

"No. That's all I have" I told quietly and this time Louis smirked.

His eyes twinkled as he said, "Very well, me and my colleagues require fifteen minutes to talk and come to a judgment. Until then, you all can take a break."

Even though I knew it was useless, I still hoped that Louis and others would say no to the war.

I swiftly moved towards Keith along with Everett and Cam to know what his plan was.

'We all know what the judgment is going to be' Keith said gravely and I nodded through gritted teeth. 'But we can have Alton and other witness who turned hostile to us, to say the truth by saving their family.'

'Most of our wolves are here. How can we do that?' Cam asked sadly.

'We have a few good fighters who are in the pack. We can ask Grant and Myron to send some of their wolves. We can also ask our new ally Marco to send his wolves. They are more than enough to save BlueBells wolves.'

'Would they do that?' That was from Terence, who sitting amongst the audience connected with us through the link.

'We could try. This is our chance to stop the war' Keith said positively and I smiled.

'We will ask them' I told them and soon, I sent a mail to Myron, Marco and Grant. Myron and Marco agreed immediately, but Grant was a little hesitant. I could see the doubt he had in his eyes. Nevertheless, after getting go signal from their Alphas', the FireLight and DayDusk wolves joined forces with my pack wolves to attack BlueBells from three different sides.

By that time, the three chiefs of Sorority returned and Louis had a big grin etched on his face. I tensed and my wolf bared her sharpest canine as she saw him. I knew what the judgment was going to be.

Everett wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. His touch provided comfort to me, but as Louis began talking, my wolf grew restless.

"After hearing the voices of all the parties concerned we have come to a judgment, that we think is fair and benefits to all our kind" Louis said smugly, his eyes solely focused on me as I glared at him.

"Ms. Templar Green, the white wolf, is guilty of trespassing, damaging property, killing of pack wolves, injuring pack wolves and misusing of her position and coercing other pack wolves to surrender to her" Louis stated with a wide grin and blood dripped to the ground as my claws pierced my palm.

"She is punished to spend the next five years of her life in the underground prison of Sorority Building" he announced to the crowd.

There was cry of outrage from majority of the audience. Not just my friends, my pack allies, but also the other Alphas' who did not know me before today. They screamed-

"This is wrong. This punishment is too much"

"Trespassers are fined. Why is she being imprisoned?"

"She is the daughter of Goddess, she has a right to visit any land she wishes"

"She has proved that some witness are lying about killing pack wolves"

"How much were you paid Louis?"

"Her only sin is trespassing"

"They say she has saved their life."

"She has never killed an innocent"

"She is the daughter of the Goddess. You are committing a sin by falsely accusing her of these things. The Goddess will curse you and your clan"

A loud, boisterous growl emanated from my chest and slowly the crowd grew silent. I looked at the Sorority, who were stunned to see the protest from the crowd. Just like them, I did not expect this either.

"Quiet" I told the audience after raising my hand high above my head.

"You are doing wrong Templar" Louis growled as I looked at him. "You cannot force me into giving a judgment that you want" he warned and I smirked.

"One of the two things I told you was that I only want a reasonable judgment. You have yet to give it" I reminded.

"Yes, Louis. Give the judgment on the war. Tell me, am I and my allies here allowed to wage war against WaterWave pack for the wrong their Luna had done to our packs?" Reece asked conceitedly.

"I do not think there is a need for war. The issue is settled" Carl said and I nodded. My wolf was pleased that he took the right decision. But she wanted to hear what the other two had to say.

Before Dennis could speak, Brandon raised his hand. "I have something to ask with Reece" he said with a frown and Dennis gave him a go-ahead look. "When you said allies, why did you point towards me and my pack?" he demanded with Reece.

"We are entering into a war with her pack. Surely you cannot forgive her that easily for what she did to you and your pack wolves" Reece said in a duh tone.

"I have no intention of entering into a war with any pack" Brandon spat and I spun to look at him. "In my complaint, I did not mention any wishes of entering into a war with WaterWave Pack. I am not going to risk the lives of my pack members on an issue where no harm was done to my pack" he added with a frown.

"We do not wish to enter into a war with you either Brandon" Rett said calmly. "But if you choose to attack us, we will not stay quiet either."

"I am not going to choose to attack your pack Everett" Brandon assured.

In fury, Reece bared his fangs and called Brandon a coward. The Gold-Dust pack wolves stood up and growled at the BlueBells pack wolves.

"Very well, if you do not wish to enter the war, then so be it. Your pussy wolves wouldn't have been much help either" Reece sneered and I shook my head in disgust.

'Nice... dig your own grave Reece' Jan chuckled through the link.

"We BlueBells and WhiteField wolves are strong enough to wipe out the WaterWave Pack wolves" he stated proudly and I as well as my pack wolves growled murderously.

"Hold on" Sebastian said with a frown and all heads turned to look at him. "When did I tell you that I want to wage a war against WaterWave?" he asked outraged and my eyes rounded. "I am not going to enter into a war with WaterWave Pack. Just like Brandon, I have no intention of putting my pack wolves' life in danger" Sebastian growled and I heaved a sigh.

There is not going to be any war!

"Even in my complaint, I did not mention about any desire to enter into a war" Sebastian continued. "And why were we not informed of this war before?" He demanded frowning at the three chiefs.

"It was mentioned in Reece's complaint and had yours as well as Brandon's signature in it" Dennis remarked and I furrowed my brows.

"I signed no such document" Sebastian said shocked.

"Neither did I. He must have forged our signature" Brandon spat glaring at Reece and there were murmurs from the audience.

'The game changed now' Cam said in glee through the mind-link.

"Why would you expect us to believe he forged it? You might have signed it and now are turning hostile to Reece because most of the audience is supporting the white wolf" This was obviously from Louis and I curled my fists. "You surely had a lot of things to say in your complaint against the white wolf" Louis added smartly.

"Well, in that case, I will take my complaint back" Brandon hissed and I gasped, so did many others. My wolf too was stunned because she stood straight still finding it hard to believe.

'Thank Goddess' Ophelia told in my mind and I indeed thanked the Goddess.

"What?" Louis asked shocked.

"I will withdraw my complaint too" Sebastian added and my wolf jumped in joy. Craning her neck, she howled happily.

Jan and many others started laughing through the link. 'That's what you get for doing wrong' Rett remarked amusedly.

'Tem... one more good news. I just got a message from Myron who said that Grant has sent his wolves to attack BlueBells' Keith supplied and I nodded happily.

Thank-you mother. Thank-you so much for this.

"You cannot do that" Louis growled.

"Actually, they can" Carl said with a gentle smile. "Are you sure you want to withdraw your complain? You can discuss with your pack wolves" he suggested.

"We have discussed it and they all agree with my decision to withdraw the complaint" Brandon said and Carl nodded while Reece growled.

"My pack wolves are okay with my decision too" Sebastian said looking at me and I nodded.

"Very well, then" Dennis said.

"Bunch of cowards" Reece spat. "I do not need both of you. I can enter into a war alone, with my pack wolves" Reece hissed curling his lips and my wolf growled in fury.

Ugh... why can't he just quit it?

"You still want to go to a war with WaterWave?" Carl asked stunned.

"Yes" Reece growled. "My pack members agree with me too" he said and I shook my head. I am positive he did not even ask his pack wolves. "So, am I allowed to wage a war?" he demanded with the chiefs, but his eyes were focused on me.

The audience was silent, curious to hear what the Sorority Chief's have to say.

"I say no" Carl said and I nervously licked my lower lip. "You are doing it just out of spite and I think you should consider the welfare of your pack too."

"I say no. But for the damages that Ms. Templar green has done, she has to pay monetarily and to compensate the death of BlueBells pack wolves, she has to transfer the exact number of WaterWave Pack wolves to BlueBells" Dennis said.

My pack wolves and I growled outrageously after hearing his words. My body started trembling in rage after hearing his words.

"I will not transfer a single wolf from my pack to BlueBells because Templar has not killed any BlueBells pack wolves" Rett bellowed in rage.

"Then I say yes to war" Dennis hissed through gritted teeth and my wolf clawed inside me, furious to hear this unreasonable judgment. It was not possible for me to restrain her any longer.

"What's your say Louis?" Reece demanded with a smirk.

Clenching my fists, I looked at Louis. This is his one and only chance to give the right decision... or else...

"I say yes to war" Louis answered with a smirk of his own.

That's the moment my wolf took over!
