Chapter 47

*Jungkook's pov*

"You both were pure souls. That's why your fate and mother nature wanted to give you guys an other chance. They made her the moon-goddess and she created us." Mellisa explained breaking the silence. we all are shocked to even utter a word.

"But where is she now?" Woobin hyung questioned.

"There weren't only Jungkook and Shenu in that story. There was a third person." Taehyung said slowly grasping the new found information and solving the puzzle.

"Her fiance!" Everyone's head snapped towards me when I uttered those words. " She was a princess who was engaged to ruthless commander. That bastard is the one separated us." I said with venom laced in my voice.

"You mean that her finance also born again like you guys and he is the one who took her using black magic?" Mellisa nodded her head at Jimin's question making me to growl in anger.

"Hey Wait! If she is the moon-goddess, we don't have to worry about her safety right? I mean who can harm the goddess? She can save herself right?" J-hope hyung questioned and we all looked at Mellisa with new found hope. If she is the goddess that mean she is safe right? After all she is our creature!

"No! She doesn't know that she is the goddess. She left all her powers to become a human. She is here completing her incomplete love story while all her powers out there fulfilling her responsibilities as the goddess, But if we trigger her up, we can wake the goddess in her." I don't know whether to feel relief or burden with Mellisa's answer. Is she safe or not?

"You mean she can save herself if the goddess in herself wakes up?" Suga hyung asked with hopeful eyes, but it soon vanished into thin air when she shook her head denying it. That make my wolf even more furious. That means she is not safe whether she is the goddess or not.

"Unfortunately it's not her destiny to destroy that monster." Mellisa start explaining. " That day  not only she received a chance. He did too." She said pointing at me. " She already completed her part. She created us, she brought back his soul and made him stronger. And finally she made him fall in love with her again for the second time. Her part is completed. Now it's his! His chance to save her life which he failed to do that day." My blood start to boil remembering how I failed her that day. I felt my blood pumping through the veins urging me to get up and run to save her. The very image of her dying face is hunting my mind. I will not fail her again!

" But where is my baby now?" Shenu's mother asked getting impatient with these tale telling and wanting to find her as soon as possible like me. They all looked at me hoping for a answer. And yes! I have the answer.

"That bastard must be keeping her some where near the cliff where he took our lives!" I answered and growled with each word clenching my teeth, but my anger short lived when I felt a sharp pain in my body like a stab to my heart. I clutched my chest clenching my teeth and let out a scream of pain. Everyone looked at me with worried eyes. I felt my wolf taking control over me and I couldn't stop that due to the pain. My eyes changed into silver and once Nick took control over my body everyone backed away letting me to howl in pain.

"Jewel!" Nick yelled and I knew at that exact moment the pain I am feeling is her's. What is he doing to her?

*Shenu's pov*

I slowly opened my eyes. My whole body feel heavy and I feel like my head would burst any moment. It's really hard to keep opening my eyes.I am in pain. Lot of pain and I feel so week to the point that I can't even stand on my own feet. The last thing I remembered is getting attack near the border. What happened after back that? I gave up trying to get on my own feet and scan my surrounding to notice that I am laying in the middle of a small wooden cabin. There in front of me was a big mirror. I can see my own reflection on it. There are some dirt in my blue long off-shoulders gown. Other than that, I look as same as I was before I leaved the castle. Suddenly black smoke surrounded the cabin and some pictures displayed in the mirror. It's like it showing a story. I dragged my weak body near to the mirror and I realized what was showing on the mirror. These are my dreams. The dreams I had before I came here. I realized the wolf showed in that mirror. Nick! My mate! I weakly with lot of effort lift my hand to touch the mirror.

"Enjoying your own story?" A voice behind me startled making me to turn my head in flash. I was surprised with my own speed, how I was able to react that fast in this weak situation.

"YOU?" I asked with wide asked not believing my own eyes.

"Yes darling it's me!" He said letting out a dark chuckle. His purple eyes glisten with excitement at my reaction. His aura was darker and there was some kind of a dark mist around him. What happened to him?

"You also had those dreams right darling?" he questioned with mock curiosity. "How nice to see our own story in our dreams." What the heck this sick bastard is talking about. A chuckle escaped from his mouth seeing my clueless face "Oh don't tell me you didn't figure it out yet princess or should I say moon-goddess?" My eyes widened comically hearing those words leaving his mouth. Realization hit me like a hard slap to my face. Those dreams are not just dreams. Those are my memories. Little by little I was able to solve the puzzle. Those dream was about my past memories. Come to think of it, now everything make sense. Why my wolf is different? Why moon-goddess made Jungkook the strongest alpha? And why this bastard kidnapped me? It was him! It was him who took our life. That's why I didn't like this asshole from the beginning. But why couldn't I realized when I first saw him?

"Jewel?" I tried to talk to my wolf. She is the only one who can help me right now.

"Oh! Are you trying to talk to your wolf darling?" he questioned sensing my attempts. "Don't worry you wouldn't able to talk to her. That bitch must be dead by now!" Horror filled my eyes. What the heck he is talking about? "That bitch wouldn't submit to my dark magic. She tried to heal you. So I had to inject wolf-bane into your bady." Wolf-bane? Wolf-bane is a poison that use to kill our kind. "Normally it would one doze to kill a wolf, but you are special. So I inject 10 into your body just in case!" He shrugged boringly. What is he? he just inject 10 doze of wolf-bane into my body and act like it's nothing. No wonder I feel this week.

I start to fake cry. Yes fake cry! Cause I have to show this jerk that I am crying over my lost wolf, but I am not. My wolf is not dead. I can still feel my Jewel in my body. I think she locked herself inside my body to save herself. She did it 21 years ago also which lead others to think that I am a human. That's what she is doing right now. I am the one handling wolf-bane in my body. That's why I am weak.

"Oh don't cry sweetie!" He cooed kneeling in front of me. " Don't worry you will become my queen once I become the king. It doesn't matter whether you have a wolf or not.Remember you was a human when I fell in love with you!" He said gently wiping my tears. I felt disgust with his touches, but I am too weak to even move my face away from his grasp.

"You didn't love me! You loved my title and my beauty! You wanted to marry me so that you can become the next king and you can show the world what a beautiful wife you have." I said meekly. His eyes darkened as soon as those words left my mouth. I stumble to the floor when a hard slap landed on my face.

"Yet I was human bitch! You choose that wolf over me. A wild low life animal over a royal commander." he spat those words into my face. I pulled my knees near to my chest and balled my body in fear. I am too weak to fight him. And the dark aura oozing from him make my human self cover in fear. No matter how much I try to fight over that fear, I can't. My body and my is too tired to handle that. I need my wolf, but I can't release her and put her life in danger. I know this scum wouldn't kill me. He need me to become the next king. That's what he all want. Power and my body. He never changed and I wouldn't change either. No matter how many time he kill me, I will always choose that wolf over him again and again. The wooden door creak opened and a rouge stepped in.

"Alpha they are coming!" He smirked darkly when that rouge uttered those words.

"Get ready! Gather all our men near the cliff!" He ordered the male who compiled his command instantly. "Well sweetie time has come! Lets get rid of that little mate of yours and you will be mine forever." he said sweetly and the next second yank me harshly from my hand into a standing position. He got closer to my ear to whisper something. " But first I would claim what is mine in front of his eyes!" Those words weakened my knees. I almost collapsed into the floor if it wasn't for his tight grip on my hand. Jungkook save me!

*Mellisa's pov*

We all followed Jungkook the alpha into the woods. He is running like a mad animal. I can see how hard it is the rest of the pack to keep up with his speed. Thanks to our princess protector whom I know as Taehyung we didn't loose his track. He is leading us tracking Jungkook's scent who is almost invisible to our eyes due to his speed. Everyone is in their super-natural form. My mate is offering me ride on his back since I can't run as fast as like them. He is using his vampire speed to chase Jungkook. Their friend Jin is on someone else back. And my mate's female friends decide to stay on their human form and ride on their mate's back.  We had to left the princess's mothers in the castle. It was a order from the king. They volunteered to look after pups and elders. We came to a clearing near the cliff and we can see the rouges standing in a line ready to fight. That jerk gathered rouges to fight against us.

We all lined behind Jungkook and our king who stood in front of us. All of us is waiting for their command, but I know what holding them back. They are waiting for their leader to show up. The one who is behind all this. Suddenly all rouges parted making a path for someone. A tall young man stood in front of us holding the almost lifeless princess from her neck in front of him shielding his body. I heard a whimper leaving Jungkook's mouth seeing his mate weak like that. He immediately shifted back to his human form along with his other friends. All of them wear the shorts they were holding in their mouths when they came here except Jungkook. He is too angry to even care about his naked form. I cast a spell covering his private area with white smoke. There are lot of she-wolfs here. I don't think our future queen will like it when others sees what is her's.

"YOU!" Jungkook spat looking at the man who chuckled at his reaction in amusement.

"Who is he?" I asked my mate sensing that they already know this man.

"Sam! The second son of alpha knight. Jungkook almost killed that dickhead when he tried to mark my petal." He answered. I get to know about two things now. That they are enemies with man before hand and my mate is very fond of our princess. I mean he just called her my petal in front of his own mate!

"Glad to see you back Jungkook" I snapped out of my trance when that Sam dude greeted our alpha in a mocking tone. I looked at the princess in his grip to see how week she is. I started chanting to give her some strength, but that bastard blocked my spells using his black magic. Dark magic is always powerful than pure magic,the only problem is it possess your mind and clouded it with evil thoughts. Sam smirked at my failed attempt.

"Release her mutt!" Jungkook roared in authority, but I know how weak he must be feeling inside seeing his mate like that.

"Now now now... That's not a way to talk to your future king Jungkook." He mocked causing Jungkook to take a step ahead. Sam immediately tighten his grip around the princess neck causing her to whimper. We all halt in our places rotten to the ground. We can't do anything until that jerk as her in his hand. "I think it's time to claim what is mine!" Sam roared extending his canines.

"No!" Those words left my mouth even before I could stop. Sam's eyes locked with mine when I said those words and he smirked. That jerk has the audacity to smirk knowing what he is about to do. "He is going to mark her. Over Jungkook's mouth." As those words left my mouth horror filled everyone's eyes.

"Jungkook is a true blood! If someone tried to claim a mate claimed by a true-blood, that would kill that mate." the one who I know as Namjoon explained with wide eyes. Everything happened in slow motion. Sam sink his canines into her neck when Jungkook jumped to grab her. She collapsed into the ground when Sam release her from his grip retreating his canines from her neck, but Jungkook was already there to catch her in his embrace. All our breath hitched. That jerk took few steps back with a chuckle enjoying the scene in front of his eyes.

*Jungkook's pov*

"No No No baby.... Please!" I yelled holding her body. Her eyes are closing slowly and I can hear how low her heart beat is. I felt a sudden pain in my chest. My whole body start to feel like burn when I heard her heart beat slowing. A ear piercing screech escaped from my mouth causing everyone to cover their ears. The it stop. My favorite music stopped playing. Her heart beat. I can't hear it anymore. Everything went pin-drop silent. I looked at her lifeless body in my embrace. "No No No NOOOOOOO........." I failed again. I failed again. She is gone. My mate is gone. The love of my life is gone. NOOOOOO.....

Suddenly the wind start to blow wildly. The sky darkened. I drop her body into the ground and backed away from her when my body start to vibrate. A loud howl of agony escaped from my mouth. I can hear the thunders in my eras. But nothing matters to me anymore. She is not here. My mate is not here. I felt my body vibrating uncontrollably. The blood in my veins grew hot and fast, gushing through my body, making it visible on my skin. My heart rate fasten and I dropped to the floor all in my fours clutching my stomach and heart. I feel like I am being torn apart from inside. I felt my canines extending and sharpening than before. My hands and legs start turning into paws. I am shifting. And I can't control it.

*J-hope pov*

Our pain of loosing her was forgotten when we saw Jungkook is shifting in front of our eyes. But he is in so much pain and the weather is also changing into darker along with his shifting. All of us, Our pack, Sam and rouges looked at him with wide eyes.

"What is happening?" Jimin mumbled into himself in daze.

"He is shifting into his true self!" Mellisa uttered in somewhat with a scared expression. What is she meant by true-self. "All of you have only seen his true-blood side, but now you gonna see who really he is. The strongest alpha. The mate of Moon-Goddess!" She explained slowly backing away. She signaled all of us to back away from screaming Jungkook on the ground. With a very loud screech Jungkook finally shifted, making all of us to widen our eyes. His pitch black wolf is three times bigger than his normal wolf and muscular than any other wolf I had ever seen in my life. There is light blue light around his body. His paws are bigger and nails are longer. And those eyes. It sent shiver down our spines. His normal silver orbs isn't there. Instead there is two bright flames in his eyes. And the white area of his eyes is covered with red angry veins. The site was terrifying. He howled into the sky as thunder boomed in the sky. We all shuddered under his authority. Even Sam's eyes filled with horror. His that stupid smirk vanished from his mouth when he witness the big wolf in front of his eyes.

Sam immediately shifted into his black wolf and turn to dash away from their.Big mistake! Nick loves chasing his pray. Jungkook glanced one more time at his mate body before pounding onto Sam's wolf who couldn't even able to take three steps from there. Jungkook took his head into his mouth in one bite and pulled it separating his head from his body. Blood oozed from Jungkook's mouth as he spat his head. And he started clawing Sam's lifeless body shredding it into pieces. That's it. Sam is dead. One limb wasn't left their of Sam's. Everyone went silent when he stopped clawing. Everything went silent. The wind calmed down. I can see Jungkook's wolf breathing hardly trying calm down his rage. We all shared a look among us in silence,

"Is that it?" I asked or more like whispered.

"It's the beginning!" Mellisa said making all of us to look at her like she grew ten heads. She was proved correct when an other sinister howl escape from Jungkook's mouth breaking the silence. It's a howl wolf would release when it go for hunting. He looked at all the rouges wagging his tail eager to hunt them down. The rouges who sense this started backing away slowly, but couldn't as a big flame circled around us trapping all of us in it. What is happening? " We need to wake her up!" Mellisa said walking towards Shenu's body. What does she means?

"You mean she is alive?" Jin hyung asked with hopeful eyes running towards her. We all circled around them as our pack witnessed the scene happening in front of their eyes. The screams of agony and smell of stench blood filled the hair making goosebumps to arise in our bodies.

"Yes she is! I can still fell the bond with her!" Tae said kneeling in front of Shenu's laying body. It's not about the mate bond he is talking. It's about their master and protector bond.

"Then why can't Jungkook feel it?" Jimin questioned not getting the point. If Shenu is alive, then Jungkook wouldn't loose his control like this. The way he is behaving right now clearly shows that he is gone insane.

"Cause his mind is clouded with furry and blood-lust. The moment her heart beat stopped, he thought he lost her. He didn't pay the attention to his bond." Mellisa explained.

"You mean my daughter is alive. We can wake her back!" Our king asked almost on the verge of tears. It must have hard for him as much as for us. They just found their daughter. I felt relief wash over my body knowing that she is alive.

"Yes your majesty! Her soul left her body to prevent that bastard from marking her. It is possible to mark her if we used black magic. She knew that. That's why her soul left her body. We have to get it back to her body right now. She is the only one who can stop Jungkook." Mellisa said depressingly wanting so bad to wake her up right now.

"But why we have to stop him? He is just killing the rouges who are under dark magic spell." I questioned. Well whatever Jungkook is doing is not dangerous. He is ending the threaten.

"Do you think he would stop from that?" Taehyung asked grabbing his sword from the floor and standing up.

"he is thirsty for blood. And that is a never ending thirst. He would kill all of us no matter who we are to him." We all visibly gulped hearing those words leaving Mellisa's mouth.

"can't we all of us fight together against him and beat him?" I asked with hopeful eyes, but she just shook her head. "What all the super-natural creatures support us to tame him.

"That would give him a tough fight, but still we wouldn't stand a chance." What? What is she talking about? Is that possible. "He is strongest alpha J-hope. He wasn't just a chosen mate for our princess by goddess. He was chosen for her by the nature. Their destiny paired them. The fate choose him as the goddess mate. He is the mate of Moon-goddess J-hope! Do you think we will stand a chance against him?" Her every words felt like a nightmare in my life. " Beside he is the main reason the goddess created us. He is beginning of us. Our true king. The true ruler to our kind. And he is immortal on his true form. Anyone can't kill him in this form."

"What do you mean?" Seguli asked in a shaking voice.

"What I mean is, that his mate is the only one who can control him. The beast only will be tamed by his beauty." She answered looking at Shenu's face fondly. This is not a time to admire her beauty. We are here in a life ending situation and she is resitting poems here? Isn't anyone mentally stable in our gang?

"What if we couldn't?" Jin hyung dropped the bomb. That question was the question I was dreading to ask.

"Then It would be the end of us!"
