"Good morning Secretary Claire. What's my schedule for today? I greeted.

" Good morning Sir. Here's your coffee."

"Thank you."

"You have a company meeting this afternoon and a meeting with Mr. Valnerez anytime soon this morning."

"Mr. Valnerez? You mean Lincon Valnerez."

"Yes Sir. He set personally this appointment two weeks ago."

"Really? How surprisingly. Is that all?"

"Yes Sir."

"Okey let's start to work."

After an hour. A knock interrupted me.

"Yes, come in."

"Well I guess the news, is true." said by familiar voice.

"Are you just here to confirm my presence?" I asked smilingly. I raise in my chair to welcome my visitor.

"It been a while. Do I deserve a big hug?" the visitor open wide his arms.

"Uncle! I missed you." I welcome him with a warm hug.

"I missed you too my favorite nephew." Uncle Lincon said.

Lincon Valnerez is my mom younger brother. We are very close. But when I decided to left the house, I forbid my self to seek help to him. They say my uncle is the most colded CEO in town but for me, his the warmest person I have, aside from my mom. He always care for me. He never question my gender. He love me as his own son although our age gap is not that huge.

"When I heard to your mom you've back home. I decided to see you, but I didn't know your the newly appointed CEO now. I was upset that I need to do an appointment first." he said.

"Of course not, I'll tell my secretary that you don't need to set appointment to see me. You're always welcome here." I said. "Please seat uncle. Coffee?"

"Yes please."

I called my secretary to do the coffee for my uncle.

"How are you?" Lincon asked.

"I'm doing fine I guess. I'm just here for a short time until dad get healthy again."

"Did they burden you much? Are you okey with your dad now? "

"In a way yes, we talk, but only for business. Don't worry I'm getting used to it now. How about you uncle? I heard you're married now."

"Yes. Just a quick wedding in abroad. I will invite you when we hold the big ceremony."

"Okey, I'll be there. When will I can meet my new uncle?"

"Soon, I will personally introduce him to you. He's so kind and adorable."

"Oh really, that means you found a treasure uncle."

"Yeah, definitely he's more than that."

"I can't wait to meet him." I said in excitement.

"How about you? Are you dating someone?"

"No. Not yet."

"Not yet? That's mean you have someone special."

"Maybe you can say that way, but I'm afraid to go on."

"Why not?" he asked in curiosity.

"He's a straight guy, he never into men before."

"So what, gender is just a gender Chain. There's nothing to do with your heart. Look at me I'm straight but I'm gay for my husband. He is my exception."

"What if someday he found out that I'm not good enough for him?"

"Why so insecure to yourself. You can never tell unless you try it."

"I don't want him to be hated by dad." I whispered in myself.

"What did you said?" he asked again.

"Oh, nothing uncle. I just said I will think about it first.

"By the way, if you have time, visit your elder. I know, how much they missed you."

"Of course, I will, one of this days." I said agreeing.

After uncle left. I decided to take a walk round the company. I want to know how's the employees doing this time.

I was busy talking with random people when my phone ring. It's Leam.

"Excuse me, I just take the call." I said to them. Then walk away from them.

"Hello?"

"Sweetheart, where are you? I'm at your office." he said.

"My office? I don't remembered we have appointment today?" I said jokingly.

"Come on, who need appointment to see you?" He said confidently.

"Okey, wait me there, I'm on my way."

When the elevator open. I saw Leam waiting for me outside the door of my office.

He smile when he saw me. "Where have you been?"

"I just take a round. Why you're here?" I entered my office with him.

"I got meeting near by, so I decided to visit you. Did you had your lunch? "

"No. Not yet."

"Good. I bought food for us. Let's eat." he arrange the food on the table.

Suddenly I remembered what my uncle said a while ago.

"Leam, why you doing this?" I asked seriously.

"What?" he said confused.

"Why you suddenly so caring to me?"

"Why? Is that bad?" he asked.

"Yes, bad for my heart. Your giving me hope."

He smile and come near me. He grab me closer to him. "Well, go on, that's an advantage for me. I'll make sure your heart will melt for me soon."

"Really? So that's your agenda?" I teased.

"Umm... Yes." he suddenly kiss me quick in the lips. "Let's eat I'm too hungry now." he said after the kiss.

"Leam?" I have so many question in my head and want to ask him what bother me most but I don't know how to start. Plus the fact that I'm afraid to hear his answers.

"What?" he asked.

"Mmm.. I... D-did you d-dated men before?" I asked bravely.

"No. I only used to date women. Why?" he answered.

"You know I'm a g-gay, but still considered a man, right?"

"And... so? What are you trying to say?"

"I wonder if you are just... curious about the feeling of having a gay boyfriend and... " I hesitate to speak what's on my mind.

He looked at me seriously. "Wait, wait. Are you misunderstood me Chain? Am I not clear to you what my intention is? I tell this, I'm not into men, that's true. That's why I only like you and I'm attracted only to you." he said. "Maybe your my exception."

"Leam..." I don't know what to say when I heard his confession.

"Stop over thinking Chain. I intend to pursue you whatever you would say. So let's end this topic. Now finish your food before getting cold." he said and served me more food to my plate. I won't deny how my heart fluttered from what I heard. Maybe I'm just scared about his feeling for me. "I'm not asking you to believe me now. All I need is to let me prove my self to you until you're ready to accept me. And for the record, let me clear this to you Mr Chain Ramirez, I want a serious relationship with you, not just a simple friendship. So better be ready because I don't accept a no for an answer sweetheart."
