Chapter 22

"Good evening Sir." our helper greeted to me.

"Good evening, where's everyone?" I asked.

"They are all in the study room Sir."

"All?" I asked confuse.

"Yes Sir, your parents, Sir Lincon, and Sir Leam."

"Leam? He's here?" asking like a fool just to be sure.

"Yes Sir."

"Oh, maybe they just having business to discuss. Well, I'll going to my room first to rest a bit." I just said, trying to ignore the visitors in the house.

"Okey Sir. I call you when dinner is ready." our helper said and I just nod to her.

I showered and plan to lay my back in the bed, when I heard knocks in my door.

"Who is it?"

"Me. Leam."

I quickly open the door. I saw Leam sweet smile. "You really here?" I smiled back.

"Yes, I'm really here." he said and entered my room. To my surprise he locked the door.

"Leam..?"

"I won't do anything sweetheart. I just want to kiss and hug you tight."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I just missed you." he said and hug me.

"You acting weird again." I said.

"Why? I'm just feeling relief." he smile again and kiss me quick on the lips.

"Why didn't you tell me you're coming here?" I whining.

"I want to surprise you."

"That's really weird." I commented.

"Stop overthinking sweetheart. I just have something to discuss to your parents and uncle."

"So, you already close to my uncle."

"Yes, and he's so scary and too cold."

"Same as you."

"Really, so that's the reason why you fell in love with me?"

"No. I love you because of what you are."

"Good answer. Let me give you a reward..." he said and pull me to give me a gentle kiss. I respond to him and he playfully devour my mouth. "I want to do something more but the dinner is almost ready downstairs."

I just smile. "Well, let me satisfy you with kisses for the meantime." I said and stick out my tongue to lick his lips.

"Naughty." he said and kiss me hungrier again.

We both enjoy ourself when our helper knock and told us about dinner.

"Yes, we're coming down." I said.

I look Leam and fix his messy clothes and hair. "Let's go down."

In the stairs I don't know why suddenly my heart beat fast. Am I nervous? For what? Or maybe I'm just excited to see my uncle.

"Uncle." I greeted when I see him.

"Young master." I greeted back.

"Oh, I hate it when you call me that."

"Why? You still the young master right?

"Whatever." I said fusing and I heard him just laugh.

"See, you are still short-tempered as before." he said annoying me.

"Oh, shut up."

Everyone get silent when the dinner start. It's unusual to have dinner with so much food on the table.

"Mom, what's the occasion, why cook many foods?" I said unconsciously.

"Because your uncle and Leam here."

"And so..." I continue without thinking.

"So we celebrate." my uncle continue while my dad just look at me in silent.

"Why? Another business venture?" I asked again.

"No, Chain. We are celebrating your happiness." my mom said.

"My happiness? Wait, am I fired from being CEO already?

Can I go back to my life again?" I asked in excitement. I just said that without thinking.

"Are you really want to leave us again?" Suddenly my dad asked me. This is the first time he talked to me again after our last argument. "Look, it tooks me many years to accept who you are. And how many more years want me to accept your relationship with Leam now?" he look at me straight.

"D-dad?" I asked in shocked.

"Chain, if you just runaway again, how can I be used to it? I'm not a perfect father but I'm trying to be and trying to accept what you chose path. I really want to understand you, but you must tell me what to do to understand you." he continue.

"D-dad..." Im speechless. I don't know how to react, there's so many questions in head.

"If you really happy to what you are now, then don't leave this house, fight me back, fight for your rights, fight for Leam if you really love him." dad said provoking me.

"Dad.. How..? Who..? " I tried to asked but my head asking what first to asked.

Mom answered my unspoken question. "Leam, told us about your relationship. Well, I'm really not that surprised, because I already suspected that. I've seen how you look at him although I I don't know if Leam look you the same way. What surprised me most is that, you never told me first. Are you planning to keep it from us? I know how much you want to fight, so why so coward to tell us this time?" Mom asked.

"It's not like that mom, I'm just too worried that you might hating Leam. I don't want that to happened, if it is just me I'm okey with it, but Leam I can't afford to. I know how much you adore him, how much you love him and treated him like your own son. How can I dare to break that mom?" I said in tears.

When Leam see me crying, he went near me and patted my back to console me. He lean my head toward him.

"Its okey sweetheart, I told you I won't leave you no matter what." he said and offered me a tighter hug.

I heard my uncle sighed. "Well, what is important is Mr. Napolles told us everything. And don't worry, my dear nephew even they kick you out in this house I will buy you one."

"Lincon!" my mom scold.

"What? I just want to make it up to my nephew. I also lost him back then because of your husband's pride."

"Lincon, just shut up. You are not helpful."

"He's right. I'm at fault." dad said then sigh. "I'll come back to work if that's what you want. You can come back to your café if working in the company burden you much. But please don't leave your mom again. She needs you." dad said to me begging.

"But Federico you're still recovering..." I heard mom protest. She's too worried for my dad health.

I felt the guilt in my heart. They still my parents no matter what. I need to decide. "I-if you can t-trust me, I continue my work in the company, there's no problem with that. But don't pressure me too much, I'm still learning. The company is way different from the café." I said stammering.

For the first time, I saw my dad smile a little. "Okey. I help you to the things you don't understand. You can also asked your boyfriend and your uncle for pointers." my dad said.

I nod. But the way he said 'your boyfriend' I was moved. Dad at least acknowledged us.

"Nah, the drama is resolved now, not exciting anymore. Let's continue eating. I need to go home soon my lovely husband waiting for me." I heard uncle said.

"Uncle, thank you for helping me out." Leam said to uncle Lincon.

"No problem, anything for my favorite nephew."
