Chapter 3 [Samaira Rudraveer Pratap Singh Rathore]

"Bhai saa" I heard Kuwar saa utter and Rana saa looked at him before saying "This is my final decision and no one here can change it".

I am feeling guilty !

Its all Because of me That its all happening !

I know how much Maa saa adored Kuwar saa and her giving him a cold shoulder made me realise how deeply have I hurted them and especially the void that was about to come between the Family because of me !

Not uttering a word I show followed Kuwar saa as he pulled me With him to his room holding my wrist !

We entered his room and he sat down With a sigh !

" I Thought bhai saa and bhabhi maa would support me" I heard Kuwar saa and I gulped Saying "they did" and he snapped his head towards me !

"They did help us Rani saa did not go against me and Rana Saa allowed us to stay here" I said and he sighed making me sit down beside him.

"But bhabhi maa did not even support you and Bhai saa allowed us to stay With the order That we would mean nothing to anyone here" He said with a sigh and I could feel the vulnerability in his voice !

"Everything will be okay" I whispered Though I myself doubt if it will be !

"It will , I will talk to Badi and choti bhabhi maa and those two can talk their husbands They would surely listen to their wives " Kuwar saa Assured both of us and forced a smile and I nodded.

"Bahot der ho gayi hai Samaira aap so jaiye aur yaad rahe agar koi hamara sath na bhi de toh bhi ham dono ek dusre ke liye hamesha rahenge" Kuwar saa said and I nodded with a small smile as tears collected near my eyes and he hugged me close To his chest after wiping my tears !

I felt him Shift in position and soon realised that we were both lying down on the bed with my head pressed on his chest and his fingers caressing my hairs!

Taking a deep breath I Thought about my life !

I am the Daughter of the head maid of the Mewar Royal Palace !

My father divorced my mother for another woman when she was pregnant With me so the Thought of loving a man was like a Nightmare for me !

From the Childhood I had grown up with Princess Aadiya and she has always treated me like her younger sister !

My Mother died 5 years ago and I continued to work for the royalty and When Princes Aadiya was Married she took me here with her !

Here I met him for the First time !

I remember how charming he was looking wearing his black suit that was hugging his body giving a slight view of the powerful manly body beneath the suit !

He looked handsome But I always maintained distance because of 2 reasons First because he was the prince and I a mere maid and second Love is a illusion !

Even my parents were married by Love Marriage but now where is the future i see !

But Coming here to Marwar changed my Point of View and Kuwar saa made me beleive That not Every man cheats upon you and that Love is Beautiful only if you fall for the right person !

My entire life I have been looked down and treated badly cause I was a maid and I had never Thought of becoming the Youngest Daughter in law of the most powerfull royalty but here I am and maybe This is what we call destiny !

I dont know how much time I spent Thinking of How my life is going to completely change from tomorrow Before I felt my eyes Going heavy and sleep consumed me !

Next day I woke up hearing his voice calling me and looked over to him while I sat up rubbing my eyes !

"Mujhe bhai saa se milna hai aap uth jaye aur kuch ladkiya taiyaar hone me aapki madad karne aati hi hongi" He said and I nodded Though a Bit nervous While he left !

I have a habit to do Everything myself and all of a sudden there will be people who would even help me in getting ready !

Its awkward !

Wasnt I one of them too Who used to Help Rani saa dress up just till yesterday ??

Nevertheless I felt self conscious Once They came to me some of them glaring at me While some looking at me with a smile.

"Kuwar saa ko phasane ka tareeka hame bhi bata diya hota ham bhi Rajkumari hoti aaj" One of them said and I looked down not wanting to hear anymore!

The entire time They kept on talking and murmering About me and All I could do was ignore them !

Once I got ready , I looked at myself and could not beleive that it was me !

The woman standing infront of me was all class , looked elegant and Beautiful !

Releasing a breath I walked out only to hear maa saa say

"Chalo at least you look like a royal in these expensive outfit I was scared your ugly face would tarnish our reputation".

This again made me feel like This all just did not belong to me as if I did not deserve this life!

Unknowingly tears collected in my eyes and I felt a gentle squeeze on my hands and looked up to see it was her

"Aadiya Didi"

This is what I called her and she gestured me not to cry and I Immediately wiped my tears when Naina Bhabhi said a few statements that made Everyone be quiet and none of us spoke anything and soon left towards the cars.

I sat down as Kuwar saa opened the car door for me and sat down beside me !

I got confused as He did not utter anything and the ride was all quiet !

He had never been this quiet Before near me !

Maybe he was Thinking About everything that has happened yesterday !

I quietly completed all the rituals Rani aaa aka Aadiya di she asked me to and then all of us left back for the palace .

Once I was back I followed Aadiya and Naina bhabhi to the kitchen while the Servants bowed down to her and gave me looks That made me feel slightly uncomfortable !

"Sabko kheer Bahot pasand hai aur khas kar Rudra ko" She said with a small encouraging smile and I nodded.

Soon enough She told me where Everything was and I made Everything ready !

"I had tried my best but I don't feel my simple culinary skills would match the royal standards"

"There is nothing like standards in food " I heard two voices and looked back too see Both my sister in laws looking at Each other With shock .

"Was i loud" I asked sheeplessly and Naina Bhabhi chuckled Shaking her head Saying "You were" and a small smile came on Aadiya di's lips Looking at her.

One thing I have understood about the two are that

Aadiya di finds happiness in others happiness and she cares for Everyone around her even a animal would be hurt infront of her and she would never ignore it or leave it untill it is not treated!

She speaks only when required and not much Though she does speak against anything wrong That is happening infront of her !

While Naina Bhabhi is a bit practical and stubborn she knows how to take stand for herself and others she is curious and questions almost Everything !

I remember on Naina bhabhi's First rasoi she asked me where the spices were And I told her they were on the left shelf and then she had kept them on the right shelf knowingly after using and when I asked her she simply answered "It isn't necessary to keep them in the left side its Not like they would disappear if kept on the other side ".

With Rana saa and Abhimanyu bhai I have never ever had a conversation !

The two of them keep to themselves !

What I have noticed and am pretty confused About is that never have I seen anyone in the royal family talk to each other properly like a Family.

Even Papa and Kaka saa never talk and Dadu and Dadi keep to themselves .

A thing I have noticed is that Abhimanyu bhaiya never looks over at Abhimaan bhaiya in his eyes never ever and so does Abhiraj kaka he too does not look at Papa in the eyes.

Maa and chachi barely have a talk and Even these two become awkward around each other.

Abhimanyu bhai and Kuwar saa have good Relationships With their parents but Rana saa , I have never seen him talk to Padmini maa sa or even to his father.

Sometimes I feel like Everyone here is Present under the same roof yet have a distance between them.

Shrugging off my thoughts I move with my two sister in laws and the servants started serving food to Everyone.

I noticed Everyone take bites and Abhimanyu Bhai saa and Rana saa nodded acknowledging my effort while Kuwar saa did not utter a word finishing the entire bowl of kheer in a few minutes !

A habit of his When he likes food !

"Bahot accha bana hai bacche" I got shocked hearing dadi Appreciate me with a sweet smile and Dadu nodded giving me a smile.

Atleast someone is ready to accept me !

Thanking them I served Everyone more of it !

Soon enough Everyone completed and left to their rooms and I too followed Kuwar saa !

"Mai kar du" I asked him as I noticed him struggling with his tie and nodded looking at me.

Slowly I moved towards him and took the tie from his hands tieing it properly.

"Ji woh aap , Abhimaan Bhai saa aur Abhimanyu bhai saa baat kyu nahi karte" I said and suddenly I noticed the smile fading off.

"Kuch Rishte Kuch zyada hi ajeeb hote Hai ham teeno ek dusre se behad pyaar karte hai par kuch karan hi aise Hai ki baat shuru kaise kare samajh hi nahi aata aakho me chamak leke bole ya phir aankho me apradh bodh leke ham khud hi nahi jante cheeze saalo se aise hi chalti aa rahi hai aise Hi chalne dena behtar hai" He said and left the room setting his hairs confusing me.

I did not know what meaning should I take out From it !

But I guess Something has happened in the past That I am not aware of and Neither does any of the three Brothers want to talk about it !

Rest of the Day passed With nothing much happening and I got to know That Naina bhabhi would leave to meet her father tomorrow and also Aadiya didi's parents are Coming tomorrow !

So all the time the servants were rushing here and there busy in their works and we called it a Night.

And I dont know Why do I feel like Something is off with Kuwar saa after yesterday Night he did not initiate a single conversation!

Even Right now he is no where to be found !

I have searched and asked for him but did not find him anywhere !

Finally after searching for hours I lied down and did not know When sleep consumed me !
